A guy who was deported four times, had been in trouble with the law several times, and was able to pick up an AR no problem at all. The people who sold it to him should be thrown in prison as well. The blood is equally on their hands, and the hands of all who want such guns to be sold and owned.

It's time to take off the gloves and deal once and for all with the mayhem caused by "SAPs" (Second Amendment Partisans) who won't listen to any rational argument that putting a gun in the hands of a human primate can create perilous situations, like this massacre of five innocents in Texas. The reality they refuse see is that there more than a few damaged individuals like Oropeza, victims of their dysfunctional past life experiences and of their impaired mental capacities, who are at the mercy of their towering rage when triggered. The tragedy of this senseless slaughter raises many questions about the compos mentis of the perpetrator.

And the sad thing is, this could happen again today, tomorrow, or next week in Red States with no background check or waiting period - any illegal immigrant, cartel member, psychotic white supremacist or Antifa member can buy a gun no questions asked.

Glad they got him and that someone had the courage to give him up

In offering the reward, Abbot called the victims “illegal immigrants," a partially false statement that his office walked back and apologized for Monday after drawing wide backlash over drawing attention to their immigration status. Abbott spokesperson Renae Eze said they had since learned that one of the victims may have been in the country legally.

That is the only thing that matters to people like this governor. They aren't human beings, who were tragically gunned down in cold blood, just illegal immigrants for whom no sympathy is necessary nor given.

I thought for sure this animal would have gone back to Mexico. Looks like justice can still be had in Texas for now.

In spite of attempts to deflect to deflect to the “hoard of illegals”, this is a story of easy access to guns especially assault weapons and a culture in which mixing alcohol and firearms is a perfectly acceptable Friday night.

That this man with multiple deportations and run ins with the law was able to access an AR us on Abbot. But that won’t stop him from sidestepping any responsibility. It’s completely in character with his Uvalde response.

How does that line up with the party affiliation of the administrations securing the borders.

He was deported 4-5 times that tells you something is wrong with our system, certainly with the border.

Half of those came during Trump's tenure - so is he accountable?

Well, it’s not Abbott’s fault he’s doing what he can with the limited resources that Washington will give him.

Sure it is - he spends more time on forcing motherhood on women and shooting Bud Light cans, than he does on crime...

No, if the Dems were serious about border control, they would have funded trumps border

Here we go again - from 2017- 2019 Repubs had the WH, Senate and House...Paul Ryan and Mitch could have appropriated the money and Trump could sign the bill...it never happened. They were too busy giving a tax cut to their Top 1% Globalist donors...

That has nothing to do with MAGA

Gun worship with no common sense gun control is a MAGA core value... This tragedy wouldn't have occurred if Texas had a background check and cooling off law....

The alleged shooter is a Mexican national who has been deported four times, according to U.S. immigration officials. The gunman was first deported in March 2009 and last in July 2016. He was also deported in September 2009 and January 2012.

How does that line up with the party affiliation of the administrations securing the borders.

Seems the question of "illegal immigrants" does not change much whether a Democratic or Republican administration is in power. The businesses that employ and cater to illegal immigrants, the real estate agencies that let them buy homes, go unmolested and they always have a welcome back, including under Abbott.

The only difference is Abbot's party likes to demonize migrants for political points and pretend to build a wall and ship them to Blue States. And the MAGA faithful fall for it as they clutch their guns.

A country victim of decades and decades of uncontrolled immigration system with which the same country became rich with cheap and over-exploited immigrant labor..

Here are the consequences..

You're right. We should have forced labor like in your country.

was able to access an AR us on Abbot.

So he legally purchased this gun from an authorized seller based on…..?

I can “access” lots of things without a legal right to do so.

that’s why you chose that word instead of “buy” or “purchase”, right?!

Which of these are during Trump?

false again. Intentional?

This is just within the last 72 hours

Chief border patrol officer, Raul Ortiz

Past 72 Hours...

2 Agents Assaulted/Prosecution sought

22,220 Apprehensions

806 lbs. Methamphetamine

283 lbs. Marijuana

62 lbs. Cocaine

3 Firearms

5 Maritime Events

2 Sex Offenders

2 Tractor Trailer Events

1 Convicted Murderer

1 Gang Member

And this is the man that basically would not back Myorkas absurd lies about the border. This is a highly decorated border patrol agent, and the man has nothing to lose, and nothing to gain, so for the life of me I am just astounded that Democrats do not want none of this to end, all of this, and quickly, and immediately, Insta left really wanted it.

They got him. Now let's get those 1500 troops to the border so the chance of something like this gets limited.

This is first a federal matter, and the shooting happened with a democrat in the White House.

Any objection to building a wall now?

No, if the Dems were serious about border control, they would have funded trumps border wall and increased border security, as well as increase the installation of flood lamps along the border massively, they should’ve pushed for proper ID and eliminate catch and release, and put on the list. Anyone that has been found entering more than twice blacklisted, and with the promise of 5 to 10 years incarceration should be tried to enter the nation again, there’s a lot you can do if you enforce it, but the Democrats would never go for it, until Abbott has to do with what he has, which is not a lot, 1500 new agents is better, but that’s not nearly enough.

And the MAGA faithful fall for it as they clutch their guns.

That has nothing to do with MAGA, yes, everything to do with people living along the border. Want to be safe and secure, and as we have just seen that does not seem to be the case, so you will definitely see gun sale go up, especially if you see a lack of boarder patrol around the area.
