Leave it to islam to flood a country with immigrants so they can suck the blood out of their economy. At least Sweden can recognize and acknowledge the threat.

Tea Partiers of the world unite! You have nothing to lose but your brains!

This just goes to show you, once hatred and bigotry get a foothold, they can wreck even the most civilized of nations. Hold the line Sweden. Kick them all out next election.

If it was not for Bush, there would not have been thousands of Iraqis flooding into Sweden. Why don't US take responsibility for creating a mess?

Can't wait to bring this up down at Ye Olde Expat Watering Hole. Sweden - liberal, progressive, socialist, hip and pacifist Sweden has veered right?

Bush made Sweden a right wing country ! Dude, Awesome!

"His coalition has been boosted by popular tax cuts and healthy public finances that stand out in debt-ridden Europe."

Oh my, how much heresy can we take?

Sweden's right is like Democrats in US, the far right like Republicans is more or less an irrelevant political party with 5 to 6 %. Tax cuts or no tax cuts, Sweden enjoys a much higher standard of living than USA and is also a humane country unlike USA.

As long as Sweden keeps producing cars that start up easily in cold weather and great mystery novels, it's got my support. I'll pass on the Akvavit, though.

A society that was once the envy of the world is starting to recognise that social cohesion derives from shared cultural understandings that are worth defending, leftist purveyors of multicultism be damned.

It is a belated reaction of the populace to the flood of muslim immigrants which is turning Swedish cities into the unpleasant sharia slums which other European countries are already suffering.

Alas, the far right are the only ones with the cohones to address the subject, the mainstream parties and the political/media elite continue to blank out the issue until it is too late.

You will see similar results in other European elections, and similar reactions by the media.

Beelzebub:

Saab and Volvo are Chinese owned now, and Akvavit is a Danish brand. Try again.

I guess 10,000+ new residents would have been quite visible.

Inevitable comments such as yours should alarm field workers of the US State Dep't in Europe. But, alas, they're probably too busy enjoying culture, European babes and lifestyle to even bother checking things.

Or maybe they notice the inevitability of such such comments seems far, far, far more common than it was before crimes rates by a certain immigrant group shot off the charts.
