The president told reporters there was "no collusion" between his campaign and the Russians, then tweeted, "nothing to hide!" He said he "had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI" and defended Flynn's actions during the presidential transition as lawful.

Not better. If Trump knew he lied to the FBI before, why didn't he fire him when he found out? I've never accused Donald of being smart, but this was just stupid.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

"Right now unless they have somebody that we don't know about, right now we're unbeatable. We're unbeatable,"

There's an underlying admission in that statement.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

"Right now unless they have somebody that we don't know about, right now we're unbeatable. We're unbeatable,"

this is the same mangled English that won him his supporters. I can see an urging to the Democrats to get someone in there, but his supporters only see ' we're unbeatable'

"Something beautiful is going to come out of that mixer,"

I trust that means he still has no idea what's in there. Either way, from now, any market movement (up or down) should be credited to him.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Presumably having got what he asked for he is now trying to create the excuse that it was somebody else who made it so severe for his base.

He wants the win, but doesn't want to be blamed for the consequences.

Defending Trump must be an attorney's worst nightmare. They are stuck with a client who can never be convinced to remain silent. He is one of those people who is stupid enough to believe that he is smarter than everyone else.

On top of that his Attorney will have to sue Trump to collect his payment, like others that represented him in the past were forced to do.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

Unbeatable. Dems actually think they will win an election voting against a tax cut and supporting sexual harassment and being racist to their own civil rights era Congressman?

http://thehill.com/homenews/house/362872-black-dems-see-bias-in-response-to-sexual-harassment-cases

Good luck with that.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

Dems actually think they will win an election voting against a tax cut

Voted against cutting taxes on the working class.

and supporting sexual harassment

Roy Moore anyone?

8 ( +8 / -0 )

This level of hubris is best left to Kim Jong Un.....

4 ( +4 / -0 )

They're closing in on him. Trump's entourage was made up of men in his own image following a culture set at the top.

I suspect the orange one is implicated in this. Question is, will the net ever draw him in? He's both a big fish and a slippery eel.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

The senate just passed a horror of a tax bill. Look into the details if you'd like - better have a stiff drink first, but of course that's true with most major legislation passed by any party any time.

This, though - okay, basically, the excuse is that everyone knows its horrid and that its horridness cannot be patched in reconciliation but that sometime, somewhere, someone in the future arrive to will make things right.

Great. We have a GOP actually betting US fiscal policy on supposed unicorns spouting rainbows from their butt.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

The man just keeps winning. Russia probe a great big zero, Tax bill passed, economy at an all time high, and for the first time in years a President is celebrating CHRISTMAS at the White House!

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

Not better. If Trump knew he lied to the FBI before, why didn't he fire him when he found out? I've never accused Donald of being smart, but this was just stupid.

He lied?

The senate just passed a horror of a tax bill.

Let The fear monger gets begin.

Look into the details if you'd like - better have a stiff drink first, but of course that's true with most major legislation passed by any party any time.

I had 3 shots, looks pretty good to me, except, I’ll be paying a lot of taxes, but hey....

This, though - okay, basically, the excuse is that everyone knows its horrid and that its horridness cannot be patched in reconciliation but that sometime, somewhere, someone in the future arrive to will make things right.

So liberals would rather keep the current tax code and allow for further erosion in the workforce and the middle class. How about cutting spending, why liberals don’t support that? Jus sayin....

Great. We have a GOP actually betting US fiscal policy on supposed unicorns spouting rainbows from their butt.

Yeah, whatever, the left had 8 years to fix all the financial inequalities and to try and fix the tax code and to rebuild the private sector and they did none of that, they didn’t even try, they just focused on the God awful healthcare that is the parasite that hangs on all of our necks that’s breaking this country. Their focus was building up the government and expanding it, nothing more. The left can cry a Hoover dam river.

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

"had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI"

Apparently it's this statement that's getting some attention.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

And?

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

Tax bill passed...

Not yet. They will probably do it just as the alternative of failure is existential - ironically, just as existential as their success. Look at what the senate passed and ask yourself, what exactly does the GOP stand for?

6 ( +6 / -0 )

...I mean, at least the Bush cuts, which were inevitable, could at least have been brushed into the pile of post-9/11 hysteria (which is the excuse most GOPers give) - but this?! Even McCain voted for it!

6 ( +6 / -0 )

If all you got is Roy Moore who Trump didn’t even support in the primary while Conyers and Franken haven’t resigned yet, that’s winning.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

Apparently it's this statement that's getting some attention.

Yeah, it implies that Trump knew Flynn had lied to the FBI when he tried to get Comey to drop the investigation. And if he knew, then trying to get Comey to drop it would be obstruction.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

If all you got is Roy Moore who Trump didn’t even support in the primary while Conyers and Franken haven’t resigned yet, that’s winning.

Ahh, back to the old false equations again are we?

Sorry, which kids were Franken and Conyers accused of fiddling?

7 ( +7 / -0 )

I said “sexual harassment” which the Dems are supporting by allowing Conyers and Franken to stay. Especially the racism against conyers by the Dems.

as far as Moore you can say it a million times just like your beloved collusion but doesn’t make it magically true. I said nothing about Moore, someone else is doing the “whataboutism” while not answering why Dems support their own harassers.

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

This isn’t a Roy Moore article been like 10 of those for you guys to push the unproven allegations.

This is a why Repubs are winning and are unbeatable while Dems are losing article.

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

I said “sexual harassment” which the Dems are supporting by allowing Conyers and Franken to stay. Especially the racism against conyers by the Dems.

And the reason that Franken and Conyers are able to stay, is because they haven't been accused of kiddy fiddling. You know, sexually touching children? That thing that most of us think is absolutely horrendous.

You keep trying to play up the false equivalencies.

while not answering why Dems support their own harassers.

I just answered it above.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Not yet.

Don’t worry, it will.

They will probably do it just as the alternative of failure is existential - ironically, just as existential as their success. Look at what the senate passed and ask yourself, what exactly does the GOP stand for?

Economy, the middle class, small government and restoring individual rights.

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

bass4funk: "He lied?"

Yes, absolutely, and you cannot deny it at all. Remember when he said they had no contact with Russians? Ah... you probably don't, selective memory and all that.

"Yeah, whatever..."

Yeah, the usual response when you can't deny it. Surprised there's not a nervous "LOL" in there, too. Not surprised, with you guys panicking.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

The lefties have been knocking Trump since his "surprise" win - Lets have a look - the supposedly unbeatable ISIS has lost nearly all or the vast majority of the territory taken under Obama's leadership, the undeliverable tax cuts look like they will be passed, samples of the Mexican Wall are in place and are being tested with results being announced in around three months before full construction begins, the US Supreme Court is now majority conservative Judges which means more common sense decisions will start to be made and start flowing through the Country, Wall Street is sitting at record levels, the Chinese are actually doing more than they have ever done in regards to North Korea since Trumps visit, the Saudi's have started reining in the strict form Wahhabi Islam again since Trumps visit. DT is looking like a winner the more time goes on

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

Why would Trump of all people fire someone for lying?  Surely he see's that as a positive personality trait in people along with a tendency to sexually harassing women and being racist. Being a known liar probably was the defining factor in being part of Trumps inner circle.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Blame Trump for honoring Rosa Parks. Yet quiet about their own racist behavior towards John Conyers.

as well as I guess supporting the sexual assault of non children. I didn’t know that it’s ok to assault adult women? but Dems always changing the rules so let them put that to the voters as something they support.

Zero tolerance! Except him and him.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Trump honoured Rosa Parks? Good on him. It was the right thing to do.

He also refused to rent his apartments to black people. Terrible behaviour.

I wonder which of these actions show the real him? I suppose we’d have to look at his other words and actions to determine...

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Back on topic please.

@rBush Trump made good on his promise to move the American embassy to Jerusalem.

He's actually moved it? He's not just untouchable, he's superman!

2 ( +2 / -0 )

we are unbeatable and more journalists being fired for false reporting as expected

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

So liberals would rather keep the current tax code and allow for further erosion in the workforce and the middle class

I was under the impression Trump had the workforce working their arse off already because the economy and markets are doing so well. How is that possible with a simultaneous erosion of the workforce? How does such a hot economy result in an erosion of the middle class?

If the current taxes are so arduous, how is the economy doing so well?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

I wonder what HR McMaster meant when she wrote that Russia throwed the election for Trump. Hmmm

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/02/us/russia-mcfarland-flynn-trump-emails.html

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Dear God, let me never have a life so empty that I am forced to amused myself by taunting people online for how angry the success of the politicians I believe in makes them.

It shows just how fundamentally different the left and right are in the US. When Obama was ascendant, the left was if guilty of anything, guilty of not paying much attention to right-wingers. That's after all why Trump's white-centric appeals to "the forgotten man" worked. If left-wingers had constantly gloated at right-wingers for their political isolation, it wouldn't make any kind of rational sense to pretend these people were forgotten. The left's response to Obama's victories was if nothing else, at least sincere. People who support Obama genuinely believed he was good for America and his victories made America better - and you can read roughly 80-billion think pieces from left-wing writers explaining why.

We don't see that from the right. Though opponents of Trump here have spelled out meticulously and rationally again and again why his actions upset us, there is no equivalently rational defense of Trump coming from the right. Instead of a meticulous analysis of why the GOP tax plan is good for America, we get gloating. Instead of a thoughtful explanation of why we shouldn't fear the rise of white-supremacists under Trump, we get jeering. Instead of a detailed and rational explanation for how Trump hasn't actually colluded with Russia, we get whataboutism and insults and crowing that Trump not being indicted yet must mean he never will be.

There is no way to get around the fact that Trump's support is driven entirely by hate. They only like him because he angers the people they're bitter about feeling ignored by. And they'll happily accept a tax increase, a loss of health care, and the subversion of their country by a hostile foreign power just to see the look on everyone else's faces when it all goes down in flames.

Sad.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

In 2018 the Republicans will lose so many seats, they won't know what hit them! The American voters will be thoroughly disgusted with their lies and their lawbreaking.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

The apparent sucksess of the Repugs' tax bill is just more fodder for Trump's hubris, but Mueller's net is closing in and is going to ensnare Kushner eventually bringing down the whole rotten edifice of Trump's reign while the mid-terms will surely wreck the GOP's current hegemony in both houses. I'm so looking forward to the 2018 "Fall of the House of Trump".

Dems aren’t winning elections any time soon based on no policies, still clinging to identity politics and protecting their own wrongdoers while calling for removal of all others.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

BlacklabelToday  02:12 pm JST

Dems aren’t winning elections any time soon based on no policies, still clinging to identity politics and protecting their own wrongdoers while calling for removal of all others.

Hardly matters as long as all the Republicans have got going for them is gerrymandering.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

There is no way to get around the fact that Trump's support is driven entirely by hate.

Or we actually voted for him because we want all the things done that are in his 'Contract with the American Voter'.

Also believe it or not some people actually want strong immigration to include a wall, illegal immigrants to be removed, potential terrorists to not be allowed in and for sanctuary cities to be illegal. Lower taxes, cheaper and better healthcare, good trade deals, strong national security, and stop giving our tax money to other countries.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

He's unbeatable and untouchable.

Get some decent money down with the bookies on Trump lasting a full term. You’ll have so much money, your head will spin.

The bookies don’t seem to share your sense of Trump being untouchable.

Unless of course you mean untouchable in the sense of too repulsive to touch.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Get some decent money down with the bookies on Trump lasting a full term.

We're already 1/4 down, and despite grumblings from certain quarters, there is no move for removal (one reason being, of course, that the alternative is a President Pence - best VP choice since Quayle!). Two questions:

How much damage is he prepared to do.

How obviously impaired is he.

If he is removed midterm, it will be by the GOP. There, moves are already afoot greater than at the Dem side. Watch your enemies, but watch your friends more closely.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Yes, absolutely, and you cannot deny it at all.

I wasn’t, I just asked, he did? How?

Remember when he said they had no contact with Russians? Ah... you probably don't, selective memory and all that.

Did he say that to Mueller? If he did while being asked by an FBI agent, then that would mean serious trouble for lying to a federal agent, but whether he can recall whether he had contact or not doesn’t mean he’s in trouble face a chopping block or even point to anything criminal and Mueller knows that.

Yeah, the usual response when you can't deny it.

I wasn’t, I fail to see where’s the crime supposedly.

Surprised there's not a nervous "LOL" in there, too. Not surprised, with you guys panicking.

Why panic? I should? And for what?

Get some decent money down with the bookies on Trump lasting a full term.

With this tax reform now probably a second.

You’ll have so much money, your head will spin.

In many ways

The bookies don’t seem to share your sense of Trump being untouchable.

Unless of course you mean untouchable in the sense of too repulsive to touch.

As if the bookies mean anything, what a joke. Lol

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

As if the bookies mean anything, what a joke. Lol

They mean a lot if you think Trump is untouchable and will last a full term. You could win a lot of money if you're prepared to put your money where your mouth is.

Mind you, it's probably best left to people good at predictions. People who wrote off Trump as a lunatic fringe that would fizzle out, then joined the lunatic fringe when it looked likely to win the nomination, and then went on to predict a Clinton victory aren't best suited. Tell us what you think and then we can bet on the opposite.

We'll be ROFLing all the way to the bank.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Oh and add to my list removing ourselves from U.N. directed “its good for the world” immigration/ migration policies:

No country has done more than the United States, and our generosity will continue. But our decisions on immigration policies must always be made by Americans and Americans alone," she added. "We will decide how best to control our borders and who will be allowed to enter our country. The global approach in the New York Declaration is simply not compatible with US sovereignty."

Announced today we are done with this. still winning!

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

bass4funk: "I wasn’t, I just asked, he did? How?"

You've been told how time and again, and on this thread several times alone. That you can't recall it in an almost Sessions-like selectivity shows that you are indeed completely denying it, or are just in complete denial.

"I wasn’t, I fail to see where’s the crime supposedly."

You don't think treason is a crime? Well, I guess if you support Trump you wouldn't want to, and definitely won't want to in the future. Actually, you personally could just pull another 180.

"Unless of course you mean untouchable in the sense of too repulsive to touch."

Glad you agree that Trump is indeed repulsive at least. That's a step forward.

"With this tax reform now probably a second."

He doesn't want a second term, I think. He's bragging about economic benefits brought about by Obama's legislation, which is still in effect, but when people start realizing they are paying more under Trump's new taxes, the economy has completely tanked thanks to his policies, and they realize he is personally saving more than a billion a year on real estate tax repeal alone, your party is going to suffer. When the Dems win in 2020 you guys will be able to blame all of the ill-effects on Trump suddenly on them in the time-machine lunacy that morons who support the GOP suffer from.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

I was hoping that as more and more of his people go to jail, Trump would make a miscalculation.

Trump recently tweeted that he fired Flynn because Flynn lied to the FBI, so that opened up a can of worms because Trump asked Comey to drop the investigation. That means Trump asked Comey to drop an investigation into someone who he knew had lied to the FBI.

Here's the first attempt to get out of it:

Trump denies asking ex-FBI Director Comey to drop Flynn investigation

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/12/03/trump-denies-asking-ex-fbi-director-comey-to-drop-flynn-investigation.html

Hey, what happened to those tapes he hinted at?

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Anyone watching Trump's Twitter? Our village idiot is having a bit of a melt down. :3

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Trump then: "It's all a big witch hunt."

Trump now: "Everyone in Washington lies."

6 ( +7 / -1 )

His Twitter today is great. The media won’t cover any of it. They want to make it seem ok that Muellers team and the FBI can lie, hide things from Congress and investigate with bias. here is your obstruction of justice you have been looking for.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

His Twitter today is great

A great meltdown. ;)

. The media won’t cover any of it

And when they do, you'll whine about his twitter being covered. Too funny ;)

They want to make it seem ok that Muellers team and the FBI can lie, hide things from Congress and investigate with bias.

Yeah, what makes them think THEY can lie? That's Trump's job! ;)

here is your obstruction of justice you have been looking for.

Yes, here is our obstruction of justice. Donny fired Comey for not dropping the Flynn case. Now he's having a very public Twitter meltdown. Such a silly little child. ;)

2 ( +2 / -0 )

takeda: It's pretty hilarious, isn't it? I love that they are trying to get his lawyer to take the fall for the moronic admittance of obstruction of justice! Like his lawyer snuck into Trump's room and hijacked his Twitter account at 2:40 a.m., then Trump had it back again a short time later to Tweet other garbage. Haha.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Nice try. Do tell me what part of what Trump tweeted this morning is untrue?

There is actually evidence of all of these things, unlike your speculation all the time.

Its no wonder Dems never get arrested, they get interviewed not under oath and with no recordings by their friends after their other friends have already precleared them.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Blacklabel: "His Twitter today is great. The media won’t cover any of it. "

They'll cover it tomorrow (today), and you'll complain about it. The REAL media, that is. Faux News is busy trying to deflect with more Clinton conspiracies.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

No, they wont. No way CNN in particular is going to talk about the supervisor in charge of both the email and collusion investigations was removed for being anti-Trump and leaking to his girlfriend. When are those texts going to be released?

Unless they can find a way to attack Trump over it or dismiss it as yet another 'conspiracy theory'. Headline will be 'Trump goes on tweetstorm! look how unbalanced he is!' but they wont mention the truth of what he is tweeting about. McCabe did campaign for his wife as the FBI assistant director. His wife did take money from Hillary's friend. ABC fake news (Susan Rice husband is a news producer there) did cause damage to the market.

I will retract my statement as an 'error' or a 'clarification' if I am proven wrong. Otherwise it is really great that Trump can tell us directly through his Twitter what the media wont tell us.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

BlacklabelToday  11:10 pm JST

His Twitter today is great.

Strangely, reading that makes me even less inclined to wonder what the supposedly "great" content actually is.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

There is actually evidence of all of these things, unlike your speculation all the time.

No there isn't. Donny knows that hammer is falling. He's singing his sweet, sweet, swan song. Love it ;)

3 ( +3 / -0 )

The truth, with actual supporting documents and actual sources. Not just a bunch of speculation.

But Im sure you wont be interested in the topics because it isnt about Russia or Trump getting impeached, so dont bother.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

BlacklabelDec. 3  11:54 pm JST

Otherwise it is really great that Trump can tell us directly through his Twitter what the media wont tell us.

Is it really great? You're that sure he's actually writing these things himself? I mean, they're making out now as it was actually a lawyer called John Dowd who wrote that Tweet about firing Flynn because he lied to the FBI, so...

Trump’s lawyer John Dowd drafted the president’s tweet, according to two people familiar with the twitter message. Its authorship could reduce how significantly it communicates anything about when the president knew that Flynn had lied to the FBI, but also raises questions about the public relations strategy of the president's chief lawyer.

They will probably do it just as the alternative of failure is existential - ironically, just as existential as their success. Look at what the senate passed and ask yourself, what exactly does the GOP stand for?

Economy, the middle class, small government and restoring individual rights.

I can almost hear "The Star Spangled Banner" playing as I read that. So much for hating both parties equally. I bet you have nothing as grovellingly sycophantic to write about the Democrats.

BlacklabelToday  12:22 am JST

Its been known for some time that Trump doesnt write all his tweets, thats nothing new.

So in fact he's not telling us directly what the media won't tell us, contrary to what you claimed earlier.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Today's story in conservative media is, "Anything that isn't about Flynn lying to the FBI."

Hopefully Trump Jr. And Kushner will be next on the list. A lot of Trump associates are going to be locked up for a long time.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Unbeatable? Hillary thought she had it in the bag. It's foolish to believe anyone or party has a lock this far out.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

You've been told how time and again, and on this thread several times alone. That you can't recall it in an almost Sessions-like selectivity shows that you are indeed completely denying it, or are just in complete denial.

Not denying anything, but what crime did Trump commit? Tell us what do you know that everyone doesn’t?

You don't think treason is a crime? Well, I guess if you support Trump you wouldn't want to, and definitely won't want to in the future. Actually, you personally could just pull another 180.

I would never do that, I’m not a liberal. And if you want to talk about treason, I know two people from the last administration that undeniably fit that label.

Glad you agree that Trump is indeed repulsive at least. That's a step forward.

I never said anything like that about Trump, stop the spin, stop the deceit.

"With this tax reform now probably a second."

ROFL, yes, we should keep the tax code at 40% if the Dems really want to knock the socks off the country and impress the public how about they make a proposal to support less spending?

He doesn't want a second term, I think. He's bragging about economic benefits brought about by Obama's legislation, which is still in effect,

How would you know? No sane economist or anyone with a functioning cerebral cortex would buy that. The left had 8 years to stop spending and not add $17 Trillion to the National debt, overhaul the tax code, create jobs in the private sector, support the blue collar working class, shrink the size of government and lower taxes. There is a reason why the Dems lost over 1000 legislative seats, gubernatorial races, the House, the Senate, The Presdency.

but when people start realizing they are paying more under Trump's new taxes, the economy has completely tanked thanks to his policies, and they realize he is personally saving more than a billion a year on real estate tax repeal alone, your party is going to suffer.

Not for the upper and middle class, for the poor at the bottom, they don’t even pay taxes. 45% of Americans don’t pay federal taxes. I know the Dems are desperate and want to scare the public because if more people are working, the less the Dems have power to dish out entitlements which is the central bass of the party’s overall existence.

When the Dems win in 2020 you guys will be able to blame all of the ill-effects on Trump suddenly on them in the time-machine lunacy that morons who support the GOP suffer from.

Yes, but they have to win elections first and winning in Blue States doesn’t count as a win. Flip some Red States and pick up sweeping majorities in Congress and then you might get my attention.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

How would you know? No sane economist or anyone with a functioning cerebral cortex would buy that. The left had 8 years to stop spending and not add $17 Trillion to the National debt, overhaul the tax code, create jobs in the private sector, support the blue collar working class, shrink the size of government and lower taxes. There is a reason why the Dems lost over 1000 legislative seats, gubernatorial races, the House, the Senate, The Presdency.

The right started two wars on the company credit card that came due during the Obama presidency. You guys scream about fiscal responsibility, but then start wars without considering the costs. Then you blame the costs on the guy who is around when those wars have to start being paid for. And then, after eight years of whining about the increase in the debt, after ignoring your team's responsibility in it, you put together a tax plan that adds $1.5 trillion to the deficit. The party of supposed fiscal responsibility is hardly fiscally responsible.

45% of Americans don’t pay federal taxes.

And once again the righters on this site show that some lies just never die. Here's the truth:

This statement, however, is obviously untrue since, if one cares to move one's eyes slightly down the page at the Tax Policy Center web site, one will find that 73.1 percent of all tax units (in 2015) do pay either federal income taxes or federal payroll taxes. In other words, plenty of people who don't pay the "income tax" pay taxes on income via the payroll tax. That income tax is assessed at a flat and regressive rate of more than 15 percent, once both worker and employer shares are included. (The employer share negatively impacts the employees' wages, of course.) In 2014, payroll taxes combined for a total of 34 percent of all federal revenues in 2014, or one trillion dollars. (Those who don't get a paycheck pay the aptly-named "self-employment tax" in its place.)

3 ( +3 / -0 )

The right started two wars on the company credit card that came due during the Obama presidency.

And he added Afghanistan and the ACA act to that increasing the debt and over the top entitlements with unnecessary provisions exploding the deficit.

You guys scream about fiscal responsibility, but then start wars without considering the costs.

You guys didn’t end them, so....

Then you blame the costs on the guy who is around when those wars have to start being paid for.

But the Dems didn’t have to add to the deficit, yet they always do and do it on a grand scale.

And then, after eight years of whining about the increase in the debt, after ignoring your team's responsibility in it, you put together a tax plan that adds $1.5 trillion to the deficit.

Dear lord, it’s not cut and dry it will be different for different tax brackets, I’ll be paying the highest tax rate, so for people like me, it’s not like I’m thrilled, but overall, it’s a great thing for the job creators and the middle class and the way the stock market is roaring like a rocket and been on the uptick with investors over the last few day. Kudos!

The party of supposed fiscal responsibility is hardly fiscally responsible.

Yeah, after fixing the lefts financial mess, it’s understandable.

And he added Afghanistan and the ACA act to that

Um, I think you need to go back and look at the start date of the Afghanistan war. (hint - it wasn't between 2009-2017).

But the Dems didn’t have to add to the deficit, yet they always do and do it on a grand scale.

The pubs don't have to add to the deficit, and every pub presidency ends up with the country in a worse position financially. And now you people are passing a tax bill that will result in an additional $1.5 trillion deficit. Fiscal responsibility my a$$.

it’s a great thing for the job creators and the middle class

The job creators - for sure. They suddenly don't have to pay as much, with no obligation to do anything for paying less. It's not like they suddenly decide to hire a bunch of more people simply because they have more money. Companies only hire more people if they have more demand.

Yeah, after fixing the lefts financial mess, it’s understandable.

Haha. Obama was left with two wars, and a country on the verge of economic collapse. According to your lotic here it's understandable that he increased the deficit to fix the issues left by the right. Thanks for acknowledging that.

It’s all ok. Trump just letting you guys know what’s coming for your side this week.

this isn’t going to stay one sided forever.

this isn’t going to stay one sided forever.

I doubt it. Donny is pretty stupid. ;)

nothing to do with him. Department of Justice been investigating the FBI and DOJ concerning all of their actions related to the 2026 election and whether any were illegal or partisan in nature. This was announced in January and should be almost done by now?

Now we first hear that the agent in charge is a trump hater and having affair with another Trump hater, both were removed from Mueller team secretly for inappropriate actions in Hillary investigation. There are also texts with evidence. Sounds like advance info from the results of this investigation.

Did you guys really think there would never be any results from this or that they would find nothing?

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

2016 election of course. The “your side” excuse always been “well we aren’t under investigation” and “we didn’t lie under oath”.

yeah cause your FBI friends never made any of the liars testify under oath and you have actually been under investigation the whole time.

How do you know it's Trump? It could be another one of his lackeys like John Dowd.

"Unbeatable"?

Trump does be lying once more. Racists, traitors, sexual predators are usually beaten in the end.

I look forward to his downfall. And that of Putin and other dictators who are laughing at their electorates.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

It could be, but regardless Trump sets the topics of conversation of what he wants us to know about.

It matters not who types it and hits send.

How do you know it's Trump? It could be another one of his lackeys like John Dowd.

That's the question that has to be asked, now. Trump used a ghostwriter for his book, has he now employed his high priced legal team members to ghostwrite his tweets? The tangled webs he keep weaving.

Here is a reminder of everything you are being investigated for. Are you really sure no one did anything or do you really think there will never be a final report about all this? One FBI guy already in big trouble for sure and they have his texts. Wonder if he has any interesting texts to his girlfriend about what Comey/Lynch told him to do or not do as he was casually interviewing Hillary on that weekend? or as he was briefing the fake dossier to everyone on his 'lets get Trump' team? hmmmmm....

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

It matters not who types it and hits send.

Trump's probably too busy playing golf to have to worry about having to communicate with the American people. He might have one of his highly paid legal team members or other paid sycophants do that for him. And given how poorly he communicates, it would be no surprise to learn the 'topic of conversation' might have been misunderstood.

Only his most loyal followers can try to justify this. Fortunately they're a minority of Americans.

Oh so is that an impeachable offense too? Article 25? It has been known for over a year that others write/review some of his tweets. You guys used to know this too because when there was a 'good' tweet you would all snark that 'stupid Trump obviously didnt write that one'.

Also to show Hillary some love she has an entire team of people who write all her social media posts. so there it is.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Trump could be forced to testify

http://www.businessinsider.com/trump-could-be-forced-to-testify-on-sexual-harassment-allegations-2017-12

His lies will be his undoing. Either the Russian links or the alleged assaults. Make no mistake; he's going to pay for his crimes.

Found a little help for you:

35 NEVER UNDERESTIMATE YOUR OPPONENT

DEFINING IDEA...‘Beware the wolf in sheep’s clothing.’∼ CAUTIONARY FOLKLORE SAYING

Master Sun talks often about deception and therefore warns against being deceived by the enemy and underestimating their ability. *‘He who exercises no forethought but makes light of his opponents is sure to be captured by them.’ *It’s important to properly assess your opponent without prejudice or assumption.

Whats this book called? The Art of War. Whats Trump's book called again.......?

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

@blacklab Oh so is that an impeachable offense too?

Once again you're distorting what was said. Who said anything about Trump letting others do his tweeting for him (because he can't be bothered) being an impeachable offense? It says a lot about his character, however.

It has been known for over a year that others write/review some of his tweets.

That is interesting to hear. Do you have a source saying some of his tweets have been written by others?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

its easy enough to Google, here's the first one I found.

https://www.wired.com/story/tell-when-someone-else-tweets-from-realdonaldtrump/

we have to look for other ways to figure out when the tweets come straight from Trump. This proved particularly challenging during version one of the Trump administration, when press secretary Sean Spicer, chief of staff Reince Priebus, and alt-right interpreter Steve Bannon all had yet to be ousted. Along with advisor Kellyanne Conway, they all likely took a spin on Trump's Twitter account at some point.

Now, though, with Trump's more trusted advisors working on the outside and White House chief of staff John Kelly trying to minimize chaos, we can have relative confidence that each Trump tweet goes one of two ways: Either he wrote it, or caddy-turned-White-House-social-media director Dan Scavino did.

Scavino and Trump likely aren't the only people with direct access to the @realDonaldTrump Twitter account.

So now I guess we add John Dowd to that list.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Here's another one. Media been attacking that he doesnt write all his own tweets for like a year. But when the opposite is convenient for the narrative now, they want to claim that of course he does write them all and its ridiculous to say anyone else would or could.

Media been attacking that he doesnt write all his own tweets for like a year.

Thanks for the sources. Worrying to read he can't even be bothered sometimes to write 140 character, or however many, messages to communicate with the American people. But then he's never had much regard for anyone outside his family, has he.

And once again,

Who said anything about Trump letting others do his tweeting for him (because he can't be bothered) being an impeachable offense?

Department of Justice been investigating the FBI and DOJ concerning all of their actions related to the 2026 election and whether any were illegal or partisan in nature. This was announced in January and should be almost done by now?

This witch hunt has been going on for 11 months and still nothing. A complete dud. Huge nothing burger. If there had been anything to find, they'd have found it by now.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Just takes one careless text from a guy boasting about work to his mistress and it’s all over.

Just takes one careless tweet from the president trying to avoid responsibility and it's all over.

The man just keeps winning. Russia probe a great big zero, Muellers not finished yet.

Tax bill passed, $1.5trillion Trump has to find someplace else or the deficit is going up and up

economy at an all time high, hardly the result of Trumps 1yr in office

first time in years a President is celebrating CHRISTMAS at the White House! Trump cant separate family time and business theyre all rolled up into one

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Oh Trump got nothing to do with the economy but the stock market is already expected to be up 200+ points when it opens and go from there. Oh sorry, did Obama pass this tax cut that is causing that today?

increase in GDP will cover the tax cut money. Obama claimed it cant go above 3 but right now Q4 is expected to be 3.9% or higher.

Russia probe. No collusion and nothing related to the election, which were the actual focus.

Christmas at the White House! Nothing negative you can say about that, but nice try. Maybe he will get in a round of golf on Christmas Day just to make liberal heads explode.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Oh Trump got nothing to do with the economy certainly cant claim all or even most, his only legistlation that will support the economy are the tax cuts and they havent even passed yet

increase in GDP will cover the tax cut money. Obama claimed it cant go above 3 but right now Q4 is expected to be 3.9% or higher. 3.9% doesnt add up to $1.5trillion, if Trumps policy are making the country money then there should be any increase in the debt ceiling, these tax cut will be followed by spending cuts in the form of welfare , healthcare etc and its still expected to add another $1Trillion to the deficit, just taking from peter to give to paul.

Collusion requires an actual crime to collude doing. there is nothing, the next wing can't even fabricate a plausible crime. For example, real collusion is Hillary, Obama, podesta, and others colluding with Russia to sell Russia control if American uranium. Hillary taking bribes to facilitate the uranium sale, this is also a crime.

trump so far, some people after he was elected talked to some Russians for 5 minutes. , ooooh.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

obviously , if he is honest why should he be seeking for sweeping Russia probe? seems illogical and unreasonable is it not sir? people of America are certainly as capable as you are sir, convince sensibly if possible they may if not convincing you know what is it not i am nobody to say.
