Nowhere do I see a mention that this war would have not happened without the irresponsible support of the Sunni Jihadists by Saudi Arabia, Israel, the US, and its NATO dwarfs. The (authoritarian, but secular) Assad government could have dealt with the Jihadis like it did before. But no, Clinton et al just had to support their "vetted rebels".

To think, that could be me, carrying my lifeless child through a rubble strewn city, that could be any one of us who has a child, a niece or nephew, a neighbor... left to run to try and save a life. The mind-boggles at how we collapse into barbarity, into this destruction. Syria truly is a failing for all of humanity. An indelible stain.

I totally agree , but the problem is when the current POTUS continually fails and refuses to be accountable for anything, his supporters continue that excuse for people that are not even relevant anymore.

im not stupid, yes I know what it means and its precisely why I used it, for all the times the J government & J justice has failed Japanese, eg , hostage justice, J Inc fraud yet no accountability ive lost count of how many bows yet so few convictions, continued failure to make reforms to strengthen Japan's economy, 30yrs of stagnation, treating J women as second class citizens, J companies continued exploitation of its workers, death by over work. I could go on and on and Ive not even mentioned the gaijin plight of living in Japan. Ask any long term foreigner in Japan and theyll certainly understand what wtfjapan means and is referring too. The next time you hear or see something in Japan that totally void of common sense or logic,

President Bashar al-Assad should not be where he is. The guy is pure evil. Everyone and anyone who tries justifying Assad's legitimacy is either cruel-hearted or just simply has no heart.

I believe the United Nations needs to change its whole makeup and system. It needs to be able to act and stop these catastrophes before they become this absolutely unbearably unmanageable.

Where do you get fairy tales like this from? "The Kurds" (who have several very different factions by the way), never "fought side by side with American soldiers fighting Assad" ... if for no other reason that American soldiers never fought Assad (apart from treacherously supporting the jihadists fight Assad). And "the Kurds" were never in danger of being "exterminated by Assad and Putin". The Kurds were fighting this little thing called ISIS that was exterminating them, remember that?
