I have a bad feeling that America will go in and drag the rest of us into yet another mincer.

What are you talking about? I guess you haven't read the news today on JT about Mika Yamamoto. There are plenty of journalists in Syria. Western media seems to prefers to spread propaganda from the Observatory, don't let that fool you into thinking that there aren't any brave journalists risking their lives to cover the truth. Try having a look at RT.

"And over and over and over again. Is this news or just a string of fairy tales."
Since you're an enemy of the former, and a proponent of the latter, I guess we'll let you decide Mr "There is no uprising amongst the Syrians themselves" ;)

Obama doesn't know anything since foreign journalists are banned, but what little we do know is that the majority of the atrocities are committed by the Assad regime. Are the rebels committing atrocities as well, to a certain point, I do believe so, however, people are tired of this oppressive regime and the people want to be able to choose their leadership and path.
Without a doubt, yes! The Syrian military are 100% responsible. There, I fixed it for you.
You are trying to discredit the source, but we at JT are supposed to give you credibility??? How? You make Assad throughout all this sound more wholesome than "Ozzie and Harriet" so where are your so called facts and where are your liable resources? Where do you get them from? Notice that time and time again when we ask you , you just ignore our requests and diligently keep on typing as if you didn't even notice someone one talking to you, getting snubbed, ignoring someone doesn't make or give anyone or person any credibility, ONLY DOUBT!
We say the same thing about your credibility and support for the Assad regime, in your eyes, the man is totally innocent. You act as a mouthpiece and spew daily Damascus talking points over and over again.
I did, I really took my time and tried to be as objective as possible and I came to the conclusion that it was the Assad regime that was responsible for the deaths, at least the huge majority, most definitely.
Both sides will use the media for political purposes to meet their perspective agendas, however, the Assad regime bars foreign journalist, so information flow is sketchy at times, the Assad regime, like the old Saddam regime would always put on their best face to hide from their world their crimes against humanity.
Foreign fighters or not, this will not deflect from the fact that the main people that are in charge is no other than the Assad regime and hopefully, they will get the chance to leave with dignity, but I doubt it, the cowards. Killing women and children doesn't make you a man and more importantly, discredits you as a leader.

Syria has already unequivocally stated that it will only use those weapons as a last resort in the event of an overt military invasion by and outside power. Obama knows this so what is he talking about?
And who is responsible for this? The Syrian military? I doubt it. This is a standard tactic by the rebels and has been documented countless times.
Ridiculous, we're getting news reports from some clowns via Skype. Remember the Damascus blogger, that was dishing out "news reports from Damascus" via Skype but actually turned out to be a prankster in the UK.
And over and over and over again. Is this news or just a string of fairy tales.
Look at the wording carefully, who is responsible for the deaths, it could just as well be the rebels.
Remember about a month ago when a rebel commander was interviewed and they said that they took over a school to use as their headquarters. Standard insurgent tactic, hide in schools and hospitals, so if attacked it makes for good PR.
I think so too. As long as there's a steady flow of fighters, ammo and weapons into Syria from Turkey then the bloodshed will continue.

Syria admitting that they have chemical weapons, I can imagine where this is going to go possibly. Looks like there is a slim possible chance the US could get involved in this, that could complicate things, but if it means it can help get Assad out, then it might not be that bad of a plan. If Assad and the rebels could come together and Assad would accept to stepping down, a lot more of this senseless bloodshed could stop. Assad should do the right thing.
