Still waiting for this to be wrapped up by the Russians. I believe you said it would take a matter of days, right Bush? Tick tock...

In the meantime, start working on excuse why ISIS is around in a few months. Blame the CIA would be your best option.

I don´t know if you are trying to be funny, in that case the joke does not work. Yes, how long ISIS in Syria lasts does exactly depend on how much support they get from their friends, namely Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the US. Without that outside help, Assad would have dealt with the jihadis long ago.

Now let us is wait if Obama openly sends his armee to fight on behalf of ISIS headcutters (claiming they are "vetted"). You think that is below him?

Why are the Mullahs so itchy for trigger time in one of syria's larger cities? Why didn't they stomp on the enemies of the Houthis? No russian air cover?

The iranians acting in concert with the russians further exposes how the obama administration got played all along.

The mullahs are not "itchy for trigger time in one of syria's larger cities". The Assad government is an Iranian ally, so of course Iran helps the Assad government. And of course the Assad government needs to be in control of Syria`s major cities; what do you expect?

Nobody is saying that Iran and Hizb-Allah are nice guys. But if you compare the secular Assad government, which protects its Yazidi and Christian minorities, and the ISIS headcutters with their medieval Shariah, genocide, and organized sex slavery, I would think anybody with a smidgen of conscience would know which side to support.

But that apparently does not include the current White House.

Bush: Any explanation for the apparent abundance of ISIS targets there Superlib, is NATO short on fuel?

As long as Russia keeps bombing rebels instead of ISIS there will always be ISIS targets available.

But back to your previous points. You said Russia would wipe out ISIS in a matter of days. So what's your prediction now? A month? Two? And you also said Russia was too smart to get their military involved. So what changed?

And how many refugees are you taking in?

What is that even supposed to mean?? Even your Obama administration has given up on the nonsensical tale of the "vetted rebels". Are you trying to keep it single-handedly alive in this readers forum?

Russia is bombing the Jihadis.... finally someone is doing that.

The Syrians made a formal request for assistance. Russia obliged.

So Russia stopped being smart at the request of Assad? Seems odd.

They could, but the current campaign is intentionally small scale, just a handful of plans and a few cruise missiles.

OK, so Russia isn't trying to take out ISIS.

Maybe you would feel more comfortable blogging from Moscow? Putin would probably pay you handsomely. heck it out.

That is not an answer. I simply stated the fact that even the US government now stopped talking about "vetted rebels" and is admitting the "rebels" they are supporting, are in fact Al Qaeda. So what "rebels" were you talking about?

Good-ole Superlib, can always depend on him opting for rule 38 of Schopenhauer's 38 STRATAGEMS, OR 38 WAYS TO WIN AN ARGUMENT, when 1-37 fail.

A last trick is to become personal, insulting and rude as soon as you perceive that your opponent has the upper hand. In becoming personal you leave the subject altogether, and turn your attack on the person by remarks of an offensive and spiteful character. This is a very popular trick, because everyone is able to carry it into effect.

After thousands of western mercenaries and terrorists armed by USA and NATO finally someone is doing right thing to help the government of Syria to restore the peace. Only after the terrorist are expelled and various warring factions disarmed could Assad be asked to democratize his country. Iraq abs Libya are definitely not good examples to follow

Paradox:

Spot on, but "disarming" is alas a tall order, as long as the Pentagon, under Obamas orders, is air-dropping arms to the terrorists.
