Well done.

Aleppo was liberated 2 years ago and now the cafes are bustling, children are going to school, the economy is recovering and the city is being rebuilt incredibly quickly.

In fact, all the areas liberated by the Syrian Army are now recovering.

Best case scenario is for Al Qaida to collapse and surrender and for the Syrian government to quickly regain control of the whole country so civilization and the rule of law can return.

Finally, a small (and well hidden) sign of progress .

No not the liberation of yet more hostages of DAESH by the democratically elected government of Syria.

No, the sneaking in of a few facts:

territory held by jihadists and allied rebels

Instead of the usual 'rebel held territory'

Aleppo ... is still targeted by rocket fire.

Instead of the usual complete omission of any mention that the 'rebels' continue to fire on civilians

Now, those facts may be buried under the usual mountains of bovine sourced fertilizer, but it is progress that they are there, rather than edited out of existence.

Interesting choice of words by the "unbiased" corporate media. So the Syrian government does not liberate villages from the sunni islamist headcutters.... no, they "seize" then. Got to love our media.

Link? Or just imagination?

Because these are still the stuff we see from Aleppo recently:

Much of Aleppo’s Old Quarter remains uninhabitable three years after fighting ceased.

You clearly misunderstand what “the rule of law” means.

@Asakaze

Appreciate those, but more recent we see like in the past year and more general area than a plaza or block
