Sure these Russians want to keep Assad in power!! Why?? My guess is that they have been allies since the Cold War, both feel dictatorships are better for them than democracy etc..but in the end the common Syrian will over come!! This is part of the Arab Spring Revolution, so Iran and China etc...need to do everything in their power to stomp out the flames of freedom and democracy but little do these Russians, Iranians, Cubans, North Koreans and Chinese realize is that they already have gasoline soaked on their shoes and cloths so have fun amigos trying to stamp out democracy!!!!

Well said bro. But I still see the UN & particularly the UNSC as obsolete bodies or rather self serving orgs.

The administrations of France, the UK, the USA and Turkey are the most self-serving in this conflict.

Here is an article that details killings of Christians and other non-Sunni civilians because they wouldn't join the FSA, or other dubious and criminal reasons.

Democracy?

You must be kidding.

Christians are definitely at the receiving end of the rebel atrocities.

The rebels are even throwing postal workers off of buildings because they collect a government paycheck.
