UN Security Council Resolution 1701 is a resolution that was intended to resolve the 2006 Lebanon War. The resolution calls for a full cessation of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, the withdrawal of Hezbollah and other forces from Lebanon south of the Litani, the disarmament of Hezbollah and other armed groups, and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon, with no armed forces other than UNIFIL and Lebanese military south of the Litani River. It emphasizes Lebanon's need to fully exert government control and calls for efforts to address the unconditional release of abducted Israeli soldiers.

There is room in the land for both the Palestinian Arabs and the Israeli Jews. There is a room for the two ethnic groups and for the multiple subgroups. There is a room for the three faiths and for seculars. There is a room for pluralism.

The killing of civilians needs to end.

The DELIBERATE killing of civilians needs to end. In addition, the whole conflict needs to end and be solved by agreeing to the coexistence of the two nations. Also, the keeping of tortured civilian hostages must end immediately.

Hamas and Hezbollah are in Gaza and S. Lebanon the last we know about, but Bibi is looking for new front in Syria hoping to drag Russia and Iran into the fight which will NOT happen.

Bibi is looking for new front in ---- Iran into the fight which will NOT happen.

Didn't the Ayatollahs send a barrage of hundreds of heavy ballistic missiles to Israel twice - in April and in October? Don't they promise now to send a third and even much bigger barrage?

"The developments in this report lead the Special Committee to conclude that the policies and practices of Israel during the reporting period are consistent with the characteristics of genocide.

. . .the killing of and serious bodily or mental harm caused to Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, are violations under international law...

The multiple violations of international law by Israel in its war on Gaza; its apartheid system of injustice in the occupied West Bank, within the broader context of its decades-long occupation-cum-annexation of Palestinian and Syrian Golan territories; and its ongoing defiance of binding Security Council resolutions and orders of the International Court of Justice, gravely weaken the international rulesbased system."

Time to stop supporting this genocidal, colonial, apartheid, pariah state.

And ban the Maccabi Tel Aviv football thugs from attending matches and spewing their grotesque racist hatred while you're at it.

Hamas is a mad organiztion that strives to commit genocide to another nation, rejects any possibility of coexistence, and is willing to sacrifice its own nation. It also treats its own citizens withe extreme cruelty.
