"Тhe United States is Taiwan's most important international backer and arms seller, despite having no formal diplomatic relations.

China has repeatedly warned the United States to stop supporting Taiwan, and the issue has been a persistent irritant in Sino-American relations."

This means there will soon be another Ukraine in Taiwan.

This means there will soon be another Ukraine in Taiwan.

You mean another imperialist invasion?

With this way of talking, he won’t be getting support of China. They speak Chinese and use Chinese Alphabet. They could have been a strong State by uniting with China.

@Cards Only westerners and Arabs do imperialism.

Taiwan president-elect says he hopes for continued firm U.S. support

Then he better hope Trump never gets into the white house again. If so, he can kiss US support goodbye. Trump sides with the despots and autocrats like his close friends Putin, Kim and XI. Sure he doesnt like Iran but I am sure they wouldn't mind swapping out Iran for the US in their dirty little group of autocrats.

US support is highly dependent on who is President, and what the President wants. Trump is only interested in himself and his image, as evidenced by his complete failure as President previously.

What's so bad about imperialist China?

We don't need non-democracies spreading their nonsense in the world.

China does not bomb anyone,

Yet

China does not sell weapons to conflicting countries,

Except NK and proliferating nukes everywhere. And there is a heck of a lot of damage you can do without weapons.

the Taiwan issue is an internal national issue.

Not as long as there are free people not living under the rule of the corrupt CCP.

And the Anglo-Saxons have nothing to do there.

We have everything to do with keeping the non-democracies in their cages.

This means there will soon be another Ukraine in Taiwan.

This one ain't going to be just stealing candy from a baby: the US has been preparing for this for 75 years.

As long as we keep Trump out of the White House, Taiwan AND Ukraine will continue to receive firm U.S. support.

Presidemt Elect Lai is in good shape. The U.S. position on China and Taiwan in bipartisan. So regardless of whether we have Democratc or Republican administration, Taiwan will continue to be supported.

I guess by that reasoning Ukraine should just "join" with Russia. And South Korea should just accept North Korean rule.

By the way, although mainlamd China and Taiwan share the same script, there are differences in words and when spoken are often mutually unintetlligible. Mandarin is not universal in much of South China.

What's so bad about imperialist China?

Yeah, what's bad about imperialism? Duh, I don't know, the part where imperialists steal land and resource by force, exactly like you are claiming China will soon do.

China does not bomb anyone

Glad we can agree bombing other countries is bad. If only you held the same stance in regards to Russian imperialism.

As long as we keep Trump out of the White House,

Doesn't seem likely...thankfully...

Taiwan AND Ukraine will continue to receive firm U.S. support.

Taiwan for sure, not sure about Ukraine.

China does not sell weapons to conflicting countries,

This is a joke, right? China is the 2nd largest arms dealing country in the world. Norinco is a huge seller of arms outside China. Combined Chinese companies have increased their international sales 17% in the last 6 years. Xi has encouraged this. https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2020/1/27/china-is-worlds-second-biggest-arms-trader-think-tank

China isn't selling arms to Taiwan, that's certain.

Taiwan president is a clown

Could be worse: could be a Pooh Bear.

A sitting duck

If Taiwan is so independent they why do the need help ?

Lot's of countries rely on a defensive alliance to fend off fascists.

China could take Taiwan in a few hours.

They why don't they do it now, hrm?

2nik; This means there will soon be another Ukraine in Taiwan.

Have you deep inside info, or just parroting from the script you've been given?
