The people of Afghanistan have the government they wanted. It is their land and their culture, if they wanted to be civilized they would, they don't.

Taliban regime won't 'interfere' in other countries' affairs: PM

Apart from countries that border Afghanistan, the Taliban has no means to interfere with anyone anyway. A pointless statement from a desperate bunch unable to be successful at running the country they have destabilized for decades.

Act like barbarians, expect to be treated like barbarians. Holding your hand out for aid from the world when you force your country to live in a bygone era of discrimination against women and horrific religious laws will not sit well with the modern world. Most will give you nothing and you will be left to fail. Whatever rises from the dust of their failure will be an improvement. If it is ISIS then they will be fought by pretty much everyone until they are gone too.

Tough times ahead for Afghanistan but it is self inflicted pain. Eventually they may snap out of it and only then will the world assist. When aid will not be used by a regime that perpetuates the persecution of women. The worlds nations do not and will not support such a government. Nations would be as responsible as the Taliban for the treatment of the women of Afghanistan and such a situation will not be tolerated.

Reads like a statement written by CCP-China.

Other countries only interfere when Afghanistan exports terrorism/terrorists or trains them to go off and fight.

I hope Afghanistan and CCP-China are happy together.

The US, EU and other western allies must be steadfast and make every penny of aid depend on the Taliban allowing UN led competitive multiparty elections to chose the eventual Afghan government and also they must honor basic rights including free speech, religious freedom (including freedom from persecution or punishment for not adhering to Islam or any religion at all), equal rights for women, minorities and LGBT. If the Taliban refuse to agree, no aid. Don't feel bad if they refuse either. They won't last long, two years max, without a great deal of outside help. Deny the help unless they meet specific strict conditions.
