That is not answer to the obvious question, which you ignored. What has gone wrong in the states represented by the part that you love?

The Trump Plague is far from over.
Wear your masks.
Get your shot.
Keep your distance, especially from sociopaths who refuse to wear masks or get the vaccine.
It's amazing what having a sane competent president surrounded by qualified professionals can do, as opposed to an incompetent lying nut job surrounded by ace kissers, sycophants and fellow incompetent nut bags, who seemed to be intent on trying to kill as many Americans as possible with a never ending stream of nonsense and lies.

California and New York had the strictest lockdown measures in the country. No schools, masks required to enter any facility, closed gyms/restaurants/hair salons, etc. Both States are represented by the party that you love. So what went wrong?
