Good, while they are there swear them in as border guards. Now shut the hell up. < :-)

Actually, I'm wondering what the hell they think they're doing there. What does the Tea Party have to do with illegal immigration. Ok, perhaps because its another sign that the government isn't doing the job we pay it taxes for, but still, its a far cry from fiscal irresponsibility, and monetary policy to the immigration debate. Far as I'm concerned, the one ought not have anything to do with the other. To me, this seems more like an attempt to broaden the Tea Party beyond what its for. And I view that as a mistake.

The Tea Party is trying to show the American public that they are different from the Republican party because they are willing to get tough on illegal immigration. The Republican party is unwilling to do so because it favors cheap labor which is good for large coporations.

Immigration is a federal issue not state...and everyone knows it. This is more about politics and fear than it is policy.

They're starting to sound like Cindy Sheehan.

It is plain to see that, in the absence of a Federal Govt. meeting its responsibilities, the state of Arizona has overstepped its mandate by trying to perform federal functions. America, it would appear, becomes more dysfunctional by the day. From the top down and from the regions on up. If the US actually HAD an immigration system, instead of a judgment by whim of whatever uneducated armed goon like one meets at US border crossings, this could all be avoided. Like in Canada, Oz or NZ.

We must all do our part securing the borders for Obama and educating the Libs about the legal immigration process.
Sarge
No need to worry about securing the border, President Obama is on it.

I didn't see Ronald Reagan securing the border, I saw him sign amnesty. I didn't see george bush securing the borders other then cameras and other surveillance equipment and tried to sign amnesty. But this is Obama's fault.
Good, let the Tea Party jump up and down. The immigrants will just come into the country 2 miles on down the border.
Until the US secures the borders this will continue. But both parties want to blame the other. It's both parties fault. But the amnesty signers just want to whine it's the Liberal's fault. Fix the border, period and shut the hell up. < :-)
