Dear President Trump,

Please let us not create a nuclear arsenal which will pollute our land, water, and air!

Contamination known as Radon, has already polluted many of our lands and natural resources from which we make building products.  Radon, nuclear pollution endangers, plants, animals, and  people (causing cancer).

Building weapons which will not harm the environment, but protect us from foreign nuclear threats makes more sense.

North Korea's reckless pursuit of nuclear missiles could very soon threaten our homeland. We are waging a campaign of maximum pressure to prevent that from ever happening.

Worrying news people: It's just been announced that Victor Cha is no longer being considered for the post of US Ambassador to SK. Mr. Cha was said to be opposed to the use of a "preventive strike" on NK as it could lead to millions of deaths, both in Asia and America. The fact he is no longer being considered for such a delicate and important post means the Trump Administration has its heart set on a military confrontation.

One of the best things about printing speeches is it makes them easier to factcheck. Google Trump sotu factcheck.

@zichi Congratulations, America. Laws are meaningless now.

I think it's game, set, but not quite match yet. But it's getting closer. The Trump/GOP/.01% regime is nearing takeover.

The tax cut stuff in there looks good.

What is missing is mention of the budget deficit and the debt, and the spending that drives it.

While America has better chances (than Japan) of growing faster economically and therefore mitigating their debt problem, it is still likely that some kind of spending reforms are required to rein in the deficit and start shrinking the debt.

What America does matters, because what America does will have influence on other places around the world. The tax cut side of things was good, but some realism about massive government spending programs would be welcome. If America can't address out-of-control spending, then what hope is there for Japan?

What an excellent speech from an excellent President!

Interesting to see him mention terrorism and immigration in the same sentence.

It's like there's a message he's trying to get across. Are people really swallowing it whole?

In an America full of gun massacres and domestic extremists, this is still the message?

Rousing speech, especially the part when the Korean guy waved his crutches. Trump is re-igniting a fierce wave of US patriotism round right about now.

I call on the congress to empower every Cabinet secretary with the authority to reward good workers—and to remove federal employees who undermine the public trust or fail the American people

Would that include refusing to end the Trump Russia investigation? This sounds like a good way to seize control and dump anyone you you want.

Seems like 72% of Americans think so.

In an America full of gun massacres and domestic extremists, this is still the message?

Yup, thank God.

Every single sentence shall now be DEBUNKED.

From the left lying MSM, probably

Putting that guy who defected from North Korea was pure genius( nothing at all suspicious about that little ploy)

and no mention of No collusion by the orange one was a disappointment.

We could flip it around, When Hillary spoke, remember the Khan’s and how they were used? Both sides play that game and I don’t blame either of them, you would have to be an idiot not to play to your base and beyond.

and no mention of No collusion by the orange one was a disappointment.

What for, we hear that every single darned day from Democrats, can we not have a day to focus on real substantive issues instead of a bogus political witch hunt?
