What I can't understand is why don't other more "moderate" Muslim countries condemn these measures that the Taliban institute? Why don't they threaten to cut off support or ties or whatever. But you never her a peep from them. They keep saying that Islam is a religion of peace! Not for women that is for sure!

It is just their interpretation of Islam. To criticize the Taliban is to criticize Islam. That is why you never hear a peep from other Muslim countries.

The problem is that the Taliban follow a brand of Islam based in Saudi. The home of Islam. To condemn would be to condemn Islam.

Of course we (muslims) condemn them. You just don't hear (or don't want to hear) about it. Especially if you have no muslim friends.
