Evelio men that rule with fear by supposedly using rules of an outdated and primitive religion that has no o,ace in the modern world.

What I can't understand is why don't other more "moderate" Muslim countries condemn these measures that the Taliban institute? Why don't they threaten to cut off support or ties or whatever. But you never her a peep from them. They keep saying that Islam is a religion of peace! Not for women that is for sure!

It is just their interpretation of Islam. To criticize the Taliban is to criticize Islam. That is why you never hear a peep from other Muslim countries.

And remember, all cultures are equal! lol

Because no one wants to be labelled as an 'infidel' and hunted by terrorists. It's a 100% regime of fear.

The Shia muslims like the Hazaras are severely persecuted by the Taliban without a peep from Iran's Ayatollah. Likewise Sunni live under fear in Iran...

Are the Western politicians who signed the documents to hand the country back to the Taliban proud of what they did?

So women crossing a busy street cant look at oncoming drivers because they are male ?

Has the Taliban really thought this through ?

Sounds bitter. Don’t dislike women because they dislike you.

I don’t think so.

You find the extreme Islamists are very willing to call out interpretations of their religion they see as wrong. Sometimes they execute them for it.

And remember, all cultures are equal! lol

You keep posting this.

Who is saying the ‘culture’ of the Taliban is equal to all others?

I haven’t come across one.

What would you have them do? Re-invade? You got $2 trillion to bankroll another experiment?

None of it is in the Quran. Low-level animals.

The Taliban gave their word this would not happen again. It was snakes talking.

These fanatics do not help the cause of moderate Muslims around the world! Time to speak up and condemn this tripe!

No true at all.

The problem is that the Taliban follow a brand of Islam based in Saudi. The home of Islam. To condemn would be to condemn Islam.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Of course we (muslims) condemn them. You just don't hear (or don't want to hear) about it. Especially if you have no muslim friends.

Anyway. The taliban are the scum of the earth (along with isis, among others). Utter and complete morons. Satan's spawn.

Condemning them is not condemning Islam.

Read about the life and teachings of Abdülmecid II, the man who was the last Caliphate of the Ottoman Empire and who was the leader of all Muslims until he was deposed and run out of Turkiye by the Kemalists six months after the founding of the modern Turkish Republic. He was the world wide leader of the Muslims and had he not been forced into exile by the Kemalists global Islam might not have taken the radical turn it has taken.

Is this really all that different that the Metoo movement.

If you think social isolation is the same as respecting individuals that refuse to have sex that means you are terribly irrational about your own relationships, and that society would benefit a lot if you had even a short training about consent and diversity.

Sounds like paradise.

Paradise is to strip women of their voices? Open misogyny does very little to support your point being rational. Hating women so much that you feel justified considering them sub-human and not worth listening.
