It's not correct : In Auschwitz were murdered by German Nazi not only Jews but also Slavs and Gypsies
and lot of other nations.
I totally dislike these attempts of Jews to become the only victims of the Holocaust.

Weren't you just talking about Putin? How long has he been in power again, both in and behind the scenes?
IMO, this has absolutely and completely nothing to do with Israel. Jews and Israel are not the same thing.

I was simply responding to the opening post that seemed to be using the dark times of WWII to defend Bibi now. They are entirely unrelated. What happened to the Jews in WWII is unforgivable, and we as humanity should aim to never have anything like that happen again. But the fact that it did happen doesn't excuse bad behavior by Israel now. But I agree, that can be left for another discussion at another time.

Wondering if Putin was invited?
This says more about how manipulating people and/or organizations and/or leaders can create the infallible psyche in the population. Hitler's Final Solution was pure psychotic infallibility. The lesson is to not let leaders like this rise to the top.
IMO, the Israeli leadership are practicing psychotic infallibility. Which always leads to a bitter end.

I make the same slip as well.

Yes, you are correct. I used the term WWII in the context of this article and the topic. However, it would have been more appropriate to use the word Holocaust in that sentence.

I agree. The problem, naturally, is determining what really are "wrong actions now." It seems to me that Israel is the unwarranted focus of a lot of criticism. Note: not that the criticism is unwarranted; rather the focus is unwarranted.
I am a Jew. I do not speak for all Jews, but I can speak about Zionist organizations of all stripes and tell you this:
It is about Holocaust, not WWII. The two are not the same. And it is just about as much as the lessons of the Holocaust as anything else. And that lesson is: Never Again.

This is about what happened in WWII. It is about things like what happened in WWII not happening again. Why would you taint that with subjects that have nothing to do with it? Do you think hatred of people of that faith ended when WWII did? If so, you should have a read of the news and what is being said regularly even here in comments on JT.
As Steven Spielberg told a group of Holocaust survivors in January of this year and which was reported here on JT, Jews are again facing the "perennial demons of intolerance" from anti-Semites who are provoking hate crimes and trying to strip survivors of their identity.
This topic is about that. If you want to talk about other topics, perhaps you should save your comments for discussions about them.

Then what happened to them in WWII shouldn't be used to justify wrong actions now.

If you want to judge, judge. But before you judge, you need to understand. No one is talking about a free pass.
It does, however, help to explain why many Jews, even non-crazy right wingers, are prone to respond heavily when threatened and be skeptical of peace measures.

Or you can listen to SLAYER- "Angel of Death" off the Reign in Blood CD. The lyrics are horrifying but true.
wtfjapan
if you want to see what it was like living in those death camps watch "One Day In Auschwitz" this gives some perspective of the suffering of WW2 and not just the A bombings of Japan www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPqgVHaV70Y

So they should get a free pass to do whatever they want until the end of time?

With all the Bibi "haters" in these forums, it doesn't surprise me that nobody left any sincer remarks on this article.
The persecution of Jews during WW2 were among the darkest moments of humanity.
