I can understand people being worried about their pension benefits being reduced, but protesting about retiring at age 64? Give me a break. Life expectancy is higher than it used to be, and most people should be able to work until 68 or 70. French train drivers retire at age 52. Used to be 50, and they put up a massive stink when it was raised.

France needs the money to pay for continued 3rd world immigration, so those protesters should should up. Do they think the government sits on an unlimited pot of gold?

The movement has not been initiated by yellow vests. This is only a union movement, mostly by guess who, the rail unions, those with overly advantageous retirement packages as it has been stated.
