They start now to live with the Virus.

Live? They are going to die

Not the vast majority.

Anyone traveling internationally right now is taking a big risk in an unstable situation. It’s no surprise that countries can and will change their entrance policies on a moment’s notice. Less than 24 hours notice is tough, but that’s what can happen.

Why are BA the only money-grubbers being singled-out? Eurotunnel will have milked it. So will every ferry pirate company. Bring back Speed Ferries !!

If people think this is shocking get ready for hard-Brexit coming to you soon by the same idiots in charge.....

Can someone explain me how does the forced stay-home order work? Do they keep tabs on you on during the next couple of weeks? Can't you just say: "Yes sir, Mr border officer, I'll stay home for 14 days" and then just go about your business?

The Covid regulation causing the rush back (and I did spot one car in the pics with an 'Écosse' rather than GB sticker) applies to England only.

I think Scotland has also included France in its "need to isolate" list of countries:

and there is no indication of debilitation for life.

Not true. There are already a multitude of journals published on irreversible heart, brain and lung damage from Covid-19.

The virus is in both France and UK. What’s the difference where you are, corona viruses don’t have the abilities to check human passports yet.

social distance, wash hands, don’t touch your face, wear proper masks correctly and stay home if you are over 75 or with health problems.

With no clearly announced promises of food or electricity while in quarantine and no promises of still having a job once out, its no surprise this mad rush occurred is it?

The British government really fumbled hard here.

I'll have a go. The countries with the most deaths per million are Belgium, Peru and Spain.

And then the UK.

Belgium is reporting all suspected Covid 19 deaths even if they are not confirmed. Unlike other countries, Belgium is intentionally over-counting to be on the side of caution. Also I believe they and Spain have a relatively large number of people of very advanced age (the most susceptible) which is in fact, good evidence of proper management. Americans and Brits tend to die rather young at all times. I would rather die of Covid 19 at a healthy 90 than a heart attack at 55 after years of poor health.

And Peru? That's one of the poorest nations on the planet. Not many of them went on international holiday! And no expects anything from Peru. America and the U.K. earned their status of Covid pariah by spending a lot of blood, so stop trying to take it away!

Yes, let's put the travel industry out of business. No worries, all those jobs will come back just as soon as there's a vaccine!

A vaccine which no doubt will be rejected by the anti-vaxxers.

So, how was France?

The future of the UK looks grim indeed

The present doesn't look too bright either. The Covid regulation causing the rush back (and I did spot one car in the pics with an 'Écosse' rather than GB sticker) applies to England only.

Presumably other Britons (whether or not they self-identify as such) transiting the Home Counties' sunlit uplands from Channel ports, are affected, though.

British Airways was selling tickets for a flight from Paris to London on Friday night costing 452 pounds ($590). The same journey on Saturday could be made for just 66 pounds.

That is highway robbery! LOL.

Ah So

I'll have a go. The countries with the most deaths per million are Belgium, Peru and Spain.

That is correct. Now I waiting to hear about those shoddy dictators in Belgium. (Although, if you mean the EU, I would agree.)

They start now to live with the Virus.

Live? They are going to die and those who survive will be debilitated for life.

*Why is ANYONE going on holiday ANYWHERE right now? **. STAY HOME.*

Because people all over the world are tired and bored from the Virus.

They have enough from all that stay home and lockdown BS.

They start now to live with the Virus.

Too bad there is no way to quarantine the British people from the Tories whose disastrous mismanagement of the pandemic is now just rubbing salt into the public's self-inflicted wound of Brexit. The future of the UK looks grim indeed, especially as the restless Scots continue to chafe under the incompetence of the public-schooled Sassenachs down south.

British Airways, what a class act!

Someone will be on here to dispute that soon, some shoddy stats and mumbling about Sweden or something along those lines.

Funny how the countries led by moronic populist despots - Trump (USA), Johnson (Great Britain) and Bolsanaro (Brazil) - are the biggest COVID pariahs on Earth.

Forcing people into packed planes, ferries and trains just make the likelihood of spreading the virus much higher...
