Powerful, high status suspected rapists may likely to get away from punishment.
This is nothing unusual, every where..

As a man I support these ladies and such movements,we need to educate young men from childhood in respect and equality for women and I would also add for every human in general.
As stated such kind of problem is still almost everywhere around the globe and without such brave women like the ones from Australia the world would never change.

I hope these protestors are treated better than those in the UK. The images of the police dragging women away from the vigil were truly disturbing. Power to these ladies.

They were in violation of Covid-19 gathering ordinances. Or doesn't that matter when it's for a cause you favor?

Cool.

This will never happen. People meet people. They fall in love.
But this is not an excuse to harass people.

It was a candlelight vigil for a young woman kidnapped and brutally murdered, allegedly by a policeman from an elite armed squad. The future Queen attended and paid her respects. I think not being kidnapped and murdered by the police is a cause we can all favour, don't you?

Real crimes have to be brought to justice, of course. But...It won’t become better at all with an additionally enforced gender conflict. In contrary, it’s getting worse for all, because societies who don’t care about women’s rights just get the majority while civilized societies die out of low birth rates, gender war , #metoo and all such similar paths only leading to self-extinguishing. Then the result is not even a smallest women’s right at all, all progress nullified. But they just don’t or can’t think about it a bit, only repeat like robots what interested propagandists tell them in the background. Not even masks or a minimum of distance. Stupidity 2.0, now even equipped with loudspeakers...

I’d like to direct your attention to the headline and article.
Give that a whirl first before telling men what they need to do.

It has nothing to do with bias. It has everything to do with discretion and planning. The man accused of the murder is a policeman from the same police force. Knowing that, the police could've taken a more conciliatory approach maybe even show solidarity with the crowd then together with the organizers, ask people to disperse and go home. The event started in the late afternoon when there was still sunlight. Why not show a presence from the very beginning before people started arriving to discourage the gathering. Instead the police waited for darkness to fall before physically removing people. You allow them to gather and demonstrate peacefully then all of a sudden arbitrarily decide it's time to break this up when it gets dark.

Darwinism says that will never happen. People “should” be professional in work situations but you have to be ignorant to believe that thousands of years of evolution can be turned off light a light switch. Human beings are not robots that can be programmed to act against instinct regardless of the ability to make choices. We are part of the animal kingdom after all. People make choices against their own best interests, law, and morality all the time. The answer is to create a work environment that minimizes the opportunities for bad things to happen.

Oh honey, this had nothing to do with love.
