TikTok will remain under scrutiny till Chinese owners renounce their holdings in it.
After all, it's a matter of national security.

Biden isn't part of the US Congress. It is Congress' job to provide any feedback, if any.
The US Govt has 3 separate, but equal parts to it.
Executive = President
Legislative = Congress
Judicial = Supreme Court
They loosely work together for legal aspects and funding and Congress has the ability to remove Justices and the President for gross misconduct (if they aren't overly partisan).
Congress-persons can't be removed by either the President nor Supreme Court, only other Congress-persons can do that. There are preferential laws for Congress which allow them to do almost anything on the way to Congress/work. For example, they cannot be arrested. Almost every law that is written and passed has an exception clause for govt and Congress too.
Anyway, Congress is under no duty to say anything to TikTok. None.
I'm against banning 1 company. I've in favor of a national privacy law that has teeth, but don't expect that will ever happen since InstaBookTok-oogle will pay billions to prevent it. Make it simple. Require opt-in for any data collection. If someone doesn't opt-in, then don't collect data. Period. None of this implied approval crap, since I never approve.
