Tillerson didn't formally invite Russia to invade Europe. So there's that. Tillerson was hired at the request of Vladimir Putin to eliminate the sanctions against Russia to allow for the Exxon deal to be completed. Tillerson stands to earn ~$1B for his role in opening up oil drilling in the Arctic for Russia. He, like his boss are traitors to the USA and our allies would be well served to ignore him while we complete our investigation into the administration's deep, treasonous actions.

This is all our idiotic administration is concerned with, ramping up the profits of its campaign contributors of various sorts. Forget the rhetoric of "bad globalism," these sheisters are all about the money including that of Russian suppliers of military weapons.

And your proof of that is?

I don't mind calls to get Europe to spend more on defense. The US's participation in Libya was a direct result of Europe not having the hardware to do things on their own, which meant the US had to supply disproportionate numbers for a conflict that was more directly related to European interests than American interests.

But making demands isn't the best form of diplomacy with our allies, and the Trump administration needs to learn what the situation really is before commenting. There is no 2% deal, it's just a pledge. Trump needs to keep his comments in line with that. And it's not just about defense spending, it can be all security spending. And the pledge is supposed to be in effect by 2024, not right now. More education and more diplomacy is needed from Trump. I think he'll be more successful if he can do that. If.

Why should anyone spend 2% of GDP on war?

Tillerson, make yourself scarce!

"U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson pressed NATO allies Friday to ramp up military spending and denounced Russia’s “ongoing hostility and occupation” of Ukraine as the Trump administration toughened its tone toward Moscow."

So much for the Trump administration being Putin's dog, lol.

Russia’s foreign ministry said NATO uses “the myth of the Russian threat, the slander of Russian aggression”, to maintain unity.
