My thoughts and prayers are with those people.I can't imagine the peoples feelings or thoughts in any of these natural disasters caused by nature as I sit here. But in an area that is prone to these weather patterns, why aren't the houses built with a safe bunker, that people can retreat into when these weather patterns occur. We always hear of changes to the local building laws or construction changes, but these are always put in place after the disasters, not much help to those affected.

Heh, I don't see as passionate a goodwill response as from the earthquake+tsunami. Methinks probably because tornadoes happen every year.

Alabama is my home and I still own a house there, I thank God that it was spared; I also live here in Tokyo, the Tornado's are scary because you can hear them which they sound like a Shinkansen in a tunnel but you never know if it the tornado is going to get you or not. A tornado hit our nuclear power plant and took out the power towers, lucky that is all that happened to it.

The Shelters are a option only and there is a company that will sell them to you and install as well, they are worth it, my home does not have one but I think I will get one after this.
