When will India ever learn to implement safety standards?

Tom; even in a country like Japan, which is tiny in comparison with India, the discrepancy between the north, middle and south is astonishing; and this is with Japan having loads of money and no shockingly crushing poverty.

Now imagine what you know about Japan, put on a massive scale, and with a much MUCH bigger divide between the rich and poor, and you will have an answer for yourself.

My suggestion is to go and visit the place, to see for yourself.
