Yeah, those scientology ministers will surely come in handy

Gosh I hope "medical supplies" does not include scientology pamphlets.

How come this privately owned American aircraft got permission to land at Port-au-Prince when a French aircraft with an operating theatre and doctors got refused?

It's good to give, but not when you are expecting something in return.

"Gosh I hope "medical supplies" does not include scientology pamphlets."

I would have little hope of that.

Why does help sometimes come with conditions?

We'll give you some medicine if you submit to one of our tests. Creepy.

I hope he brought something more useful than scientologists. The poor Hatians have been through enough without listening to that BS. Tents are needed, keep your tracts as fire starters.

I'm glad that the Scientologists sent food and medical supplies. I just don't see where Scientology would get any foothold in a country that is so entrenched in Christianity, Voodoo and combinations of them. < :-)

Heh, I thought Haiti was a poor country....

The sect of scientology only want money from weak-minded people. You guys are barking up the wrong tree.

Maybe the scientologists in Haiti think their actions will convince a few more weak minded Americans to drink the kool aid. I'm sure the Haitians are just going to cook up a few scientologist dolls and stick pins in 'em.

Hopefully the Haitians will benefit somehow....

Just read a CNN article that says Haiti is 'awash' with doctors. LOL. They desperately need nurses more than doctors. They are also afraid that all these doctors have taken time off at the same time. So in a week or two many of the same doctors, including Travolta's group, may well have gone back again. Thus they asking for doctors to come later, not now...

I like Travolta.

At least he is doing something!

"At least he is doing something!"

As are thousands of other American celebrities and sports figures. What exactly is happening in Japan ? I see nothing in the news about benefit concerts or "idols" using their celebrity status to challenge others to match or beat their donations. It seems that Japan has gone silent.

So...when's Tom scheduled to show up?

Gosh I hope "medical supplies" does not include scientology pamphlets.

I wonder if they'll administer a stress test to the people that just lost their homes and families.

Well, if they'll believe voodoo...

I don't see why Scientologists are interested in Haiti, as one has to buy your "salvation" in Scientology.

Actually, the "ministers" are trying to heal Haitians with touch. Reminds me a certain televangelist.

"I say HEE-YULL!" Hahaha...

Well that is actually quite simple, see when the french aircraft arrived that was merely just a day or two after the earth quake, as a result the US military was more focused on getting supplies in to be able to build and restore airfields to allow more planes to land, you know expand capacity, well john landed basically a week later, which means there was more runway if you will for more planes to land.

To even get into scientology requires a lot of money, of which Haitians don't have a lot.
