The law is the law, and no one is above it.

At least that’s what people (including MAGA types) say.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

Lots of White people Republicans have lost their minds especially Jim Jordan,he want to bring the DA before a congressional committee, because the DA is black, nobody will say it ,but it the truth, you do not have power to interfere in a ongoing criminal investigation especially not Federal

0 ( +6 / -6 )

Dude's flirting with an obstruction of justice charge and, if a local DA or state AG is sharp and aggressive and crowds in their jurisdiction get out of control, a possible charge of inciting a riot.

“We’ve both got enough going on fighting the government,” Alexander wrote. “No billionaire is covering our bills.”

In 2016 Trump attacked Wall Street, criticized Democrat Goldman Sachs ties and said he would get their influence out of government. "Drain the Swamp" so to speak.

Instead he appointed billionaire oligarchs to his administration, gave them massive tax breaks and removed regs so they could amass more disproportionate wealth.

There seem to be some around these parts, but does anyone really believe Trump is "anti-establishment" and is out there fighting for the little guy?

The J6 videos are out and it shows most Trump supporters calmly walking around the Capitol, being led by police.

New York City is in chaos with skyrocketing crime, but the George Soros-funded prosecutor is more interested in political prosecutions.

The J6 videos are out and it shows most Trump supporters calmly walking around the Capitol, being led by police.

The selectively edited videos of J6 are put, yes, but those do not include the mob charging up the stairs shouting Hang Mike Pence, they don't show Capital Police Officers being attacked by the crowd, they don't show the gallows erected in front of the Capital to hang the VP and Speaker of the House or any of the other violence that day.

New York City is in chaos with skyrocketing crime, but the George Soros-funded prosecutor is more interested in political prosecutions.

Prosecutors don’t decide cases such as this one based on what the current crime statistics are.

The law is the law. Ascribing political motives to prosecutors is a weak legal defense. Plays well on Fox ‘n’ little friends, but not in the courtroom.

“You have no liberty or rights there,”

These Looney Toons have given their loyalty to a CULT and a violent one at that. They have no 'liberty or rights' to do or even say anything at all after what they've done.

These people are not Americans.

No they are not. They have given their loyalty to a terrorist traitor who doesn't believe in the Constitution he took the oath to protect in 2017. They are loyal to a violent fascist cult leader.

Has anybody here noticed that 30 years ago this time there was the Branch Davidian standoff in Waco? And about 39 years ago this time there was a standoff at Amritsar, India by a bunch of Sikh extremists. All those instances involved violent fanatical zealots.

MAGA gang preparing for protests while the DeMortis gang waiting hidden in a dark and cold corner the fall of Donnny..

The J6 videos are out and it shows most Trump supporters calmly walking around the Capitol, being led by police.

Videos of Paris in World War II mostly show German soldiers peacefully drinking coffee in the cafés. Does this mean there was no invasion of France?

I think that the items that Tucker Carlson selected for you do not show the violence that proceeded it. But because you saw a video clip that didn't show violence doesn't mean that violence didn't occur prior to that.

Or imagine this defence: "your honour, I clearly couldn't have murdered my wife - here is a picture of us on our wedding day and I'm not attacking her."

Hopefully this was clear to you, but I suspect you knew it already when you wrote the above.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Lock him up.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

When he’s arrested soon for the same crime his lawyer Cohen was sentenced to 3 years in prison, Trump will want to be in handcuffs to promote his campaign, before he’s arrested again in Georgia. The woman Trump and Cohen paid off just called him “tiny” on social media. That should rile him up.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

“I don’t know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some kind of alleged affair. I can’t speak to that,” DeSantis said at a news conference in Panama City.

Nice diss Ron. Was wondering when you were going to have the guts to respond to Donald calling you a pedo...

Now we find out that there are still two witnesses that have to testify - so Trump's rant yesterday about being arrested today was just another lie - another cheap con-job to grift a few more dollars out of his gullible supporters...

The MAGA-hustle continues...and will even grow larger after the upcoming perp-walk...

6 ( +7 / -1 )

These people are not Americans.

They are 100% Americans, equally as the deceptive ones that want to see him behind bars.

These Looney Toons have given their loyalty to a CULT and a violent one at that. They have no 'liberty or rights' to do or even say anything at all after what they've done.

They have no liberty and rights? Based on what? So Democrats can take an 8 year old soon to be run out of statue misdemeanor case trying to turn it (good luck) into felony that’s somehow acceptable, but denouncing it or taking a stand against the political misjudgment is now a crime? Well, this is why people don’t take the Dems seriously, as if libs have the moral authority on what democracy or crime is.

No they are not. They have given their loyalty to a terrorist traitor who doesn't believe in the Constitution.

But trying to oust a duly elected President for 4 years is? Trying to currently take these frivolous charges (that no other prosecutor even wanted to touch) is constitutional?

he took the oath to protect in 2017.

So did Biden in 2021 and then smh…

They are loyal to a violent fascist cult leader.

Fascist tactics is the very definition of the stunt these Soros backed lawyers are doing.

>

-15 ( +1 / -16 )

And it looks like Donald has replied to Ron's diss...

Speaking through a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump predicted that DeSantis might face his own "false" allegations once voters get to know him better.

"Ron DeSanctimonious will probably find out about FALSE ACCUSATIONS & FAKE STORIES sometime in the future, as he gets older, wiser, and better known, when he's unfairly and illegally attacked by a woman, even classmates that are 'underage' (or possibly a man!)," Trump wrote. "I'm sure he will want to fight these misfits just like I do!"

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-hits-back-desantis-following-185854743.html

So the guy that falsely accused DeSantis of grooming underage girls, is now warning him that "they" will soon attack him with fake stories that he's a pervert...

MAGA-world - you can't make this stuff up....

Well, that is unless the grooming accusations are true - what do the far-right folks here think - is Trump telling the truth about DeSantis or spreading salacious lies?

But trying to oust a duly elected President for 4 years is? Trying to currently take these frivolous charges (that no other prosecutor even wanted to touch) is constitutional?

"he took the oath to protect in 2017."

So did Biden in 2021 and then smh…

If prosecutors had something really incriminating on Biden I bet you would want them to take as long as it took to nail him, even if "the Left" (boo, hiss) thought it was all pretty flimsy and it was going to take a lot longer than 4 years.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Trump throws his supporters under the bus and then scams them for donations.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Trying to currently take these frivolous charges (that no other prosecutor even wanted to touch) is constitutional?

Yes, constitutional.

Trump may be charged with falsifying business records, which is a misdemeanor under New York state law. He could also possibly be charged with state campaign finance violations, which is a felony.

Nothing unconstitutional about these laws or the execution thereof.

But trying to oust a duly elected President for 4 years is?

Congressional oversight is constitutional. So are impeachment proceedings.

Do you have any defense of Trump other than to whine about Dems and libs?

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Bass: as the deceptive ones that want to see him behind bars.

There are people out there advocating for violence against American law enforcement.

He shouldn't be your hero.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Trump calls for protests, but supporters dismiss idea

So now we're all waiting to hear how "A big, strong man came up to me, tough kind of guy, and tears running down his eyes, he said, Sir, how does it feel, how does it feel to be thrown under the bus?"

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Six people affiliated with the Oath Keepers, a far-right militia, were convicted Monday of various charges related to January 6, 2021, US Capitol insurrection.

"Show me a man and I’ll show you a crime”

so you are a criminal?

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Bass: Yeah, then who should?

Start by eliminating violent traitors from your list, then work backwards.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Trump? Who?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Walls are closing in!

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

Walls are closing in for the Oath Keepers.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

so Trump's rant yesterday about being arrested today

He was speaking about Tuesday in the USA obviously.

which hasn’t arrived yet,

so he’s not getting arrested? you must be super disappointed.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

When your “rebuttal witness” is a convicted felon whose conviction is for lying to Congress, that’s not a rebuttal but just butt.

-15 ( +1 / -16 )

There are people out there advocating for violence against American law enforcement.

Who again started the defund the police movement again?

So, violence against the police? You support that do you?

Stormy is throwing out some shade. I’m sure some one as thick skinned as 45 won’t take the bait. He’s a fun gi with not mushroom for pettiness.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

When your “rebuttal witness” is a convicted felon whose conviction is for lying to Congress, that’s not a rebuttal but just butt.

What'd he lie to Congress about, black?

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Important details that require a trusted and truthful person telling the truth to give believable testimony to a government entity.

Which a person already convicted of lying to Congress can’t do.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

So, violence against the police? You support that do you?

What? I have relatives that work in law enforcement, I support our 110%!

Stormy is throwing out some shade. I’m sure some one as thick skinned as 45 won’t take the bait.

He has lawyers that will dismantle this frivolous case.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

I’m kind of feeling the disappointment now of our resident Trump haters. Like the air coming out of a spy balloon.

their guaranteed arrest seems to be slipping away once again……

don’t worry guys, it will still happen. With Trump winning so handily as he is and low confidence in election ballot rule changes that COVID allowed, gonna get him! The last hope!

but if this is their best chance, all those other cases must have really fallen apart too. Sad.

-15 ( +1 / -16 )

Important details that require a trusted and truthful person telling the truth to give believable testimony to a government entity.

Lol important details about what? Weird you're leaving those details out there.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Some GOP supporters want a police state.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

It was only Trump who said he expected arrest. Not the DA. Just Trump sucking the air out of the room.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Some GOP supporters want a police state.

No, they want a police force that is backed and that is ALLOWED to stop crime.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

Lol important details about what? Weird you're leaving those details out there.

About the same things he was already convicted of lying about. Thought you knew this?

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

It was only Trump who said he expected arrest. Not the DA

Oh so it’s not happening? then who is ordering this?

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/3908469-barricades-unloaded-near-manhattan-criminal-court-ahead-of-possible-trump-indictment/

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

--Yes, constitutional.

Dershowitz and Turley are laughing their rear ends off.

If they are indeed laughing it's not about the constitutionality of the charges, but probably about the likelihood of conviction. And who cares what they think anyway.

--He could also possibly be charged with state campaign finance violations, which is a felony.

Yeah, good luck with that, never has been done. Go for it.

You think no one has ever been charged with campaign finance violations in New York? Wrong.

Michael Cohen for one. Dinesh D'Souza (he of 2000 Mules fame) for another. Both charged and convicted.

Trump is not above the law. He is not God. He is not immune from prosecution or conviction.

I’m kind of feeling the disappointment now of our resident Trump haters. Like the air coming out of a spy balloon.

their guaranteed arrest seems to be slipping away once again……

I thought it was Trump himself who was saying he was going to get arrested.

bass4funkToday  09:07 am JST

I'll take that as tacit agreement.

“Show me a man and I’ll show you a crime”

-NYC proverb

So basically if there's any possible chance of Biden or any other senior Democrat ending up in court, you'll be here all day every day going on about it, and you'll comment about it for years afterwards.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

About the same things he was already convicted of lying about. Thought you knew this?

Oh I do know, and so do you. He got caught lying about Trump breaking off negotiations to build a hotel in Russia in January 2016, when in reality they continue through June 2016, or in other words he in the midst of the 2016 elections. He lied because Trump also lied about breaking off negotiations, and I suspect that's why you're trying to be coy about his conviction.

He was also convicted of campaign finance violations for the checks he wrote to stormy Daniels. Checks with Trump's signature, mind you.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Oh so it’s not happening? then who is ordering this?

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/3908469-barricades-unloaded-near-manhattan-criminal-court-ahead-of-possible-trump-indictment/

In expectation of lunatic Trump supporters who hang on every word of their Lord 'n' Little Savior. These people don't depend on facts for their decisions.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Oh I do know, and so do you.

Oh so why were you asking me if you already knew?

so yeah very unreliable witness I agree. Maybe that’s why they even canceled his rebuttal testimony today.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

If they are indeed laughing it's not about the constitutionality of the charges, but probably about the likelihood of conviction.

No, they were stating and laughing at the opposite.

https://twitter.com/foxnews/status/1637984893660459008?s=46&t=YGWP_lcRZjddiWlx4QxURQ

And who cares what they think anyway.

A lot of people because even though both men are Democrats and Hillary supporters, they’re THE most knowledgeable and experienced law professors in the country and second, they’re as neutral as it gets, people tend to respect and listen to non-partisan legal debate.

You think no one has ever been charged with campaign finance violations in New York? Wrong.

I never said otherwise, I’m saying the piece of work wants to take a frivolous misdemeanor that will will run it’s legal stature by the end of this year and see if he can change to a felony finance campaign contribution charge? ROFL

Dinesh D'Souza (he of 2000 Mules fame) for another. Both charged and convicted.

Freed and then?

Trump is not above the law. He is not God.

Exactly and neither are the Democrats and certainly not George Soros! We finally, finally agree on something.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

so yeah very unreliable witness I agree. Maybe that’s why they even canceled his rebuttal testimony today.

Yup. Michael Cohen is a liar like his former boss Donald J. Trump. Trump lied to the American public about breaking off negotiations, and Cohen went along with his bosses lie and paid the price for it.

He also went to jail for campaign finance violations for hush money check with Trump's signature on it.

So if you think any of this makes Trump look any better, okay I guess? Lol

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Can you imagine Trump in prison with Secret Service protection?!

That would be a first.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

In expectation of lunatic Trump supporters

So there is a protest tomorrow even if nothing happens?

that sounds unlikely.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

So he IS being arrested tomorrow?

thought he was lying about it?

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

I’m all for the arrest. Please, please do it.

The case is a losing case and all of the symbolism of even bringing it at all will validate all the “witch hunt” narrative and guarantee a Trump election win.

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

It matters not to me whether Trump is arrested or not. He is just a citizen and like all others, if there is evidence he committed a crime then he should be arrested and charged. He is not above the law.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Can you imagine Trump in prison with Secret Service protection?!

Guarding the orange jesus in his prison would be the Secret Service equivalent to being exiled to a gulag in Siberia. Imagine how awful such a posting would be.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

The case is a losing case and all of the symbolism of even bringing it at all will validate all the “witch hunt” narrative and guarantee a Trump election win.

Lol that's what you think, but you also think Trump actually won the 2020 elections. Lol

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Guarding the orange jesus in his prison

That’s not going to happen. Even if he did, probably be out in a few days, if at all.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

bass4funkToday  12:15 pm JST

So Nugent admits that he is a 'sheep' because he claims he 'didn't expect' violence - ****yet he went along with it anyway.

So you’re constitutionally not allowed to protest, or question your government is what you’re saying? We live in the US not Somalia.

The right to peacefully assemble and question and protest is guaranteed in the Constitution. But trumpians can't do it 'peacefully', they know nothing about that word. And trump advocates getting rid of the Constitution.

And on J6 the FBI found pipe bombs scattered throughout DC. 'Peaceful'? I think not.

And yes this is the US with a legit democratic government that trumpians don't believe in at all. As for Somalia, that nation has been in a state of anarchy for over 30 years with no effective government at all to speak of.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

The right to peacefully assemble and question and protest is guaranteed in the Constitution.

Thank you!

But trumpians can't do it 'peacefully',

71 million are not peaceful?

they know nothing about that word.

How would you know, what proof?

And on J6 the FBI found pipe bombs scattered throughout DC. 'Peaceful'? I think not.

Uh-huh...

And yes this is the US with a legit democratic government that trumpians don't believe in at all.

Well, we douldn't know since the Feds violated these peoples civil rights, wait until the two years are over and watch the lawsuits.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

If Trump is smart, he should fly out of America in his private plane loaded with cash and luxury and seeking asylum in Sheremetyevo airport, Moscow Russia.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

The right to protest does not include rioting and looting inside the Capitol Building to try and overthrow the handover of power or threatening to hang Pence and Pelosi. And attacking police officers.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Trump no longer has a private jet.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

So there is a protest tomorrow even if nothing happens?

No, Proud Boys are standing by for a riot. BTW, Proud Boys got their butts kicked when they tried to infiltrate a drag queen party. I'm personally not into drag queens, but why all this obsession with drag queens on the Trump side. Are they secretly attracted to them? It's like when Ted Haggard slammed all those gays and he himself was outed with a gay hooker.

I have relatives that work in law enforcement

Me too. My brother is a police captain for a major Republican city.

He has lawyers that will dismantle this frivolous case.

He has lawyers that need lawyers as well. MAGA = Make Attorneys Get Attorneys. But let the court work its process.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Yes, he does.

https://edition.cnn.com/2022/10/21/politics/trump-force-one-west-palm-beach/index.html

Then I am corrected over Trump's plane.
