The Coward Commander is to avoid protesters. The true mark of this leader in retreat.
This man cannot even hold his wife's hand, let alone hold a country together.
As the world lowers itself to trumps level, what does that say about us as a planet.
I hope 10 of thousands of protesters descend onto the streets in protest and disrupt proceedings.
You can predict what trumps reaction will be. He will tweet, hundreds of thousands turned out to greet me.
Oh the shame of it all.
CrazyJoe
Show him your huge dislike my English friends. He is vile, contemptible and hopefully impeached after our November elections. The baby trump balloon should be flown in Scotland.....really close to his golf course.
Vote Blue

Yes, let’s incite violence, the liberal way.
Dunno, listening to the Dems and their leader Maxine Waters and the meltdown these people have been having, not allowing people to finish their food, hounding them with their families and friends and climbing the Statue of Liberty and going completely off the Deep end, yes, let November come, now people can once and for all see how unhinged these people are and socialist policies. Thank God there’ll be another conservative on the SC to fix some of this madness.
He should get a good chuckle. I’d like my own, cute.
Jimizo
My female coworker said “kawaii” when she saw the baby Trump ballooon.
Surely they could have come up with something a bit more biting if they wanted to protest about Trump’s visit. I don’t think there is person on earth easier to ridicule than Trump.
Poor show from the Brits. We used to have a great tradition of clever, biting satire.
Blacklabel
The baby Trump balloon should be flown at every Trump campaign rally. It’s that awesome.
Jimizo
Who said anything about violence? Dislike doesn’t equate to violence. Trump told his supporters to punch hecklers. Maybe for him dislike equates to violence.
Pukey2
The protesting crowds all over Britain will be yuuuuuuge!
More than the crowds who went to man-child's 'inauguration'!
(But that's setting the bar quite low).
bass4funk
But the funny thing in all this, Trump doesn’t care and I think more than ever, he’s more or less amused by it. If the Brits want to be childish and fly their balloons, let them, have fun with it. I mean, the Brits have always stuck their nose in US politics and complained about our political system as if anyone in the US cares. You glance at the paper, chuckle and turn to the funnies as sport pages that’s it.
Pukey2
Don't worry, Theresa May will be there to hold the man-child's hand should the roads be inclined by more than 1%.
bass4funk
As he should
Country seems fine, economy great, stocks steady for now, unemployment the lowest, investments up, spending is up. And by the way, do you have to hold your wife’s hand constantly? Is their a requirement? Oh, what the left focus on, you can see the boredom.
That won’t happen, I mean the disruptiontion.
That would be hilarious if he did that, stick it in the eye, ouch! Lol

The Trump baby will cause his hackles to rise. Like all dictators, he hates being mocked and this is a wonderfully visual way to do so.
Wish I was there. I did enjoy the Bush demonstrations until some over zealous members of the met became violent, but for the most part, people behaved themselves.
There's been some great verbal responses to Trump's visit to Scotland but they're mostly unprintable :-)
Blacklabel
It just sets the precedent for a Sadiq Khan balloon to be flown over London later, it’s already being crowdfunded.
But I’m sure the rules will be changed to not allow it or it’s racist or something.
bass4funk
No, he won’t care. Look what he did with that nut job Waters, he threw it right back to the left, she’s the face of the Democrat party, brilliant. Yes, vote for the people with zero policy, except distribute more socialism and institute income redistribution.
But they want that money ;-)
How do you know he doesn’t?
Hmmmm.....I seriously doubt it. He has no reason to be now if Jim Acosta shows up, he might get a tad teed off.
Toasted Heretic
Excellent, as he has a sense of humour. Although the novelty effect will be somewhat lessened.
I doubt it, there's no travel bans on Muslims in the UK.
plasticmonkey
She's not the face of Democratic Party, despite what the propagandists on the right are claiming.
Yeah, that's right. Trump is such an easygoing fellow. Criticism rolls off him like water off a duck's back. Like this:
"Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don't feel so stupid of insecure,it's not your fault" [sic]
There's no way Trump would react badly to an inflatable caricature of him wearing a diaper.
Luddite
Coward.

I think the balloon is mostly meant for the Brits to have a laugh, but Trump will know about it and it will bug him. This is a guy who butted in to the Rosanne Barr situation only to cry about hum being treated unfairly. He doesn’t handle criticism well, plus he will see it on all of the news reports which will cut in to his headlines.
Expect some “mean and nasty” comments with possibly another Muslim smear job while mentioning the mayor.
Lets give it a guess:
”I went over there, I didn’t have to, but I went over there to meet with them and these mean and nasty people fly a balloon over the city, an absolute disgrace. I’m telling you an absolute disgrace. There are better things for these people to worry about, like the no-go Muslim zones supported by their weak Mayor.”
ClippetyClop
Roll out the red carpet, make him Earl of Bradford or something. The opportunity for historic comedy gold is rare, we should seize it.
But lock up the family silver ma'am, this charlatan will likely pilfer it.
Jimizo
I doubt it and I hope not. Satirizing and ridiculing ideas and those in power is a very good way to deflate egos. Khan as a politician deserves the same treatment as any other.
Trump likes UK racists. He retweets their dodgy videos. This is one of the reasons he is despised by many in the UK.
Retweeting dodgy videos from a racist group deserves a far stronger rebuke than a screaming baby balloon. Trump depicted with a skinhead would be interesting, and closer to actual reality as well as the ideology he likes to follow on the net.
Luddite
Exactly.
bass4funk
I doubt that, but it does make for great late night reading, like a Tom Clancy novel.
Almost every Repulican President was despised by the Brits, but we don’t care, remember, we divorced you a long time ago.
Oh, dear lord you guys, Lol
Should be good. Again, let’s get this on and over with. Brits do what they do mock and make fun and Trump will do what he does, talk trash if it comes his way. Go Trump!
ClippetyClop
I’m sure you’ve found a way to doubt it champ. Problem is that he did, and even offered to apologize for doing so.
But yeah, keep doubting.
Jimizo
No reason to doubt it. It happened.
The British Prime Minister rebuked Trump for doing it and he got angry and sent his bitchy retort to the wrong Theresa May.
It was a brief laugh in an episode that was beyond even his usual trash.
Serrano
"He will be greeted with military pomp, including a welcome by bands of the Irish, Scots and Welsh Guards. The Royal Regiment of Scotland — homeland of the president's mother — will pipe him out at the end of the dinner."
He is the Wizard of Oz, behind the curtain, leading everyone down the Yellow Brick Road.
Jimizo
More like orange dick’s wall.
Oh my...
It doesn’t exist. This doesn’t look like reality, Toto.

Presidents of the USA like all politicians come and go, we have had worse than him visit over the centuries, and being a liberal country we have expressed our opinions on the streets for centuries (longer than the USA has been in existence) and will continue to do so.
US politics has become very polarised and bitter, as evidenced here. Perhaps you need to learn some perspective, humour and self deprication?
The US could learn from Oz and the UK where deflating the ego’s of the pompous and self important is a national pastime!
SuperLib
Wasn't he exposed as the guy who was behind the curtain with a lot of smoke and mirrors?
Toasted Heretic
Fake news.
Trump will get the welcome he deserves. It will be glorious in its mockery.
bass4funk
Ok, the haters care, probably won’t even be near that mess. Fire away and enjoy yourselves. Lol
lostrune2
Trump is essentially visiting countries to avoid their peoples

Avoiding protests makes good sense. The only thing disrupted will be business. Perhaps a few shop windows will be shattered and goods looted in a show of righteous anger?
I see calm is returning. No mention of children being kidnapped and sent to concentration camps. I suspect Trump will adore the blimp baby and the attention it draws.
Errrr... it’s left of London maybe?
Come on, boys and girls, you’re not even warmed up yet. You can do better!
englisc aspyrgend
So is Tokyo, but if you keep going far enough so Hackney!
