Bad man.

Funny how the very prosecutor tasked with finding Trump guilty resigned from the case rather than try and prove his guilt!

They have nothing and never did have anything.

Very satisfying to watch!

somebody looks very afraid that Donald will be presidential candidate again...

Like banks lend money based on the word of the owner of a building

No one ever said banks lent money only based on Trump's word. The allegation is that they kept two sets of books, presenting one set of books for getting loans, and another set to lower tax burden.

Meanwhile the evidence is mounting that JB and JB jr have been doing some pretty nefarious stuff.

Lol No there isn't.

Trump 'guilty' of felonies, says prosecutor who resigned: U.S. media

uh huh, then why did he resign instead of staying and following it through?

(hint- cause it didnt happen and he cant prove it. But wants to say so anyway in case he is feeling cute and wants to write a book about how he almost did something)

Pomerantz's letter said that he had quit over the decision by new Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg not to move ahead with prosecution of the Republican billionaire.

Actually, from billionaire to broke, is more like it. I'm sure most everyone here is richer than he is now. He's been up to his ears in debt, and so is his family. His lawyers have given up on him. He and his wife even tried to have charities to save themselves.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Trump all day though. So this guy quit because he is mad that they dont have any actual evidence to prove Trump guilty of anything and his boss agreed with that.

Did we see anything that Trump won the Stormy Daniels case the other day and she has to pay him $300,000? nope. Article about any of the other cases dropped or won by Trump? nope.

But an article about that someone who is upset he cant prove Trump did anything wrong. Lets put it here and still act like it proves something by repeating all the unproven allegations and insinuate that he is guilty anyway.

Lame.

Trump 'guilty' of felonies, says prosecutor who resigned: U.S. media

Of course he is guilty, guilty as sin. It does not take a Rhodes scholar to work that out.

The prosecutors boss is in Trumps pocket so he resigned as the case is now blocked by a Trump stooge.

the decision by new Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg not to move ahead with prosecution of the Republican billionaire.

What a worm Trump is. Disgusting man who needs to be spending the remainder of his worthless life behind bars for his many crimes.

4 ( +10 / -6 )

so the first Black DA in Manhattan, Alvin Bragg- Democrat, has been reduced to a "Trump stooge" the very first time he says something truthful but that you dont like?

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

uh huh, then why did he resign instead of staying and following it through?

Because the Manhatten DA refused to press charges.

It's in the article. Read it.

Lets put it here and still act like it proves something by repeating all the unproven allegations and insinuate that he is guilty anyway.

Why do I keep hearing, "lock her up", reverberating in my head?

said a prosecutor who resigned from a criminal probe into the former U.S. president's business practices, according to his resignation letter published Wednesday by the New York Times.

probably has a book coming out soon. Useless accusation but the MSM runs with it.

America deserves to have him as president again.

Republicans are always playing the race card. Could you leave identity politics out of this? TIA.

Pomerantz - a former federal prosecutor who should know much better - apparently meant it as thundering condemnation of Trump. Instead it practically guarantees he will never be indicted.

Why?

The letter reeks of political bias. Pomerantz complains that Trump has lied to “the national media… and the American people.”

The only correct response is, how are your views of the defendant’s press conferences relevant into an investigation into his bank statements?

Whether Donald Trump lied to his wife, or his doorman, or Mike Wallace makes no difference to this case. It doesn’t matter if he was the best president, or the worst, if his hair is real or if he cheats at golf. This is a criminal case, not an indictment of his character.

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

somebody looks very afraid that Donald will be presidential candidate again..

Right - and those "somebodies" would be in the GOP. The midterms are when potential candidates for the next election begin traveling the country, introducing themselves and testing the waters. No Republican candidate dares do that for fear of being eviscerated by Trump - a rational fear indeed which will hurt them badly in 2024. Look forward to a two-term Biden. The GOP has truly become not the Republican Party but the Trumpian Party.

Another failed "prosecution" of Orange. And yet they go on......

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Sour grapes. Seems they just can't pin DT down.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

It's no guessing game whether Trump will intend to seek the republican presidential nomination again.

And then we have the "Teamsters" rising up.

Should be interesting to see the outcome.

I expect the next USA president will be a woman.

Not sarcasm !

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Bragg, by overriding the advice of two highly experienced prosecutors and thereby belittling all their hard investigative work into Trump's sleazy, felonious activities, is probably not acting alone at his own discretion. I can't help but suspect the shadow of Biden's DOJ gatekeeper, Garland, hovering over this scandalous outcome: to protect the "Naked POTUS" these two cynical deep-state "institutionalists" have apparently made up their minds to spare 45 an indictment, trial and incarceration belying the pious bromide of "equal justice for all".

Sure! Why should this person be considered a Trump stooge because they dropped a case with obvious lack of evidence?

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Sour grapes. Seems they just can't pin DT down

Maybe cause they have been lying the whole time that he even did anything wrong in the first place?

proof? 5 years investigations and no indictment of him or any family members.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Sure! Why should this person be considered a Trump stooge because they dropped a case with obvious lack of evidence?

I don't think he is one. And you don't know anything about the evidence in this case. Or, given your frequent predictions that the 2020 election would be overturned, it might be more accurate to say you don't know about evidence in general.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

you don't know anything about the evidence in this case.

I know there is not enough or maybe not even any as “new” evidence is needed. Article:

The case can move forward if new evidence emerges or a Trump insider decides to turn on the former president.

But, Pomerantz wrote: "No events are likely to occur that will alter the nature of the case...

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Is it willful ignorance on the part of some individuals posting here or what? The prosecutors resigned not due to a lack of evidence, but due to the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg deciding not to pursue charges.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

so what makes these 2 white prosecutors more knowledgeable about the case than their Black boss who is the actual person who makes this decision? How are they allowed and encouraged to publicly undermine his authority and criticize him publicly? They might be racist to do so.

Oh no, "dont use the race card". I used to be a liberal and I also relearned it from posters here so its playable.

Even that aside, the person in charge (the DA for Manhattan title) said NO. so it doesnt matter what 2 butthurt "highly experienced prosecutors" (how convenient) say, right?

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

Me, 4:04:

Republicans are always playing the race card. Could you leave identity politics out of this? TIA.

blacklabel, 5:36:

Sure!

so what makes these 2 white prosecutors more knowledgeable about the case than their Black boss who is the actual person who makes this decision? How are they allowed and encouraged to publicly undermine his authority and criticize him publicly? They might be racist to do so.

Sigh.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

How did you find out about them?

Twitter. or on all the sites that you claimed were "fake news" until the NY Times confirmed these allegations as true.

Or on the sites that would bring up the "debunked" allegation in passing, like a letter signed by 51 Intelligence officials sayings "everything" is not true.

Example, I read the NY Post and then they were banned from Twitter for posting true information about such allegations.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Donald Trump is "guilty of numerous felony violations," said a prosecutor who resigned from a criminal probe into the former U.S. president's business practices, according to his resignation letter published Wednesday by the New York Times.

Kind of an understatement there... That was pretty clear when Weisellberg was arrested and Eric and he "took the 5th" over 500 times...

You know, like what one astute expert on criminal behavior said was "what the mob does"....

Pomerantz's letter said that he had quit over the decision by new Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg not to move ahead with prosecution of the Republican billionaire.

Talk about an injustice - well, that's just one of three ongoing investigations...and many more that will emerge from the Jan 6th Committee...

Trump can continue to fleece his flock of even more of their hard-earned money by teasing a run - hard to be a candidate when you're in a Rikers Island jail cell...

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Yeah isnt it great that I dont have to do what you tell me just because its inconvenient for you to see yourself in the mirror, remembering the recent times you did it too?

Except this isn't true?

Twitter. or on all the sites that you claimed were "fake news" until the NY Times confirmed these allegations as true.

How could the NYT have reported it? You said "the media" didn't report on it. Which is it?

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Trump knows who to pay off, so they realize there is no use continuing.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

How could the NYT have reported it? You said "the media" didn't report on it. Which is it?

At the time is was discovered. all those allegations reported as false. Then total silence and social media bans for anyone who still questioned it.

However, 17 months later in the 24th paragraph of a somewhat related article the NY Times kind of admitted everything they said was fake news iin 2020 is actually true. Well after it was all suppressed long enough to affect the election.

Now the rest of the media just say "oh yeah thats true now but we already talked about it". Yeah they talked about it being FALSE 17 months ago. but they are moving right on to the next set of lies.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

anyway all good. Case was dropped by the DA, moving on. Better luck next time.
