I wrote this the to other day:

The Heckler's Veto. People do not have the right to create disturbances that prevent Trump from exercising his right to speak 'offensive" things and be heard. This is the tough one for many. But its the law. And a good one at that.

That said, other than in Chicago, there is no evidence that those who oppose Trump's vomitus engaged in any heckling before being booted out of the rally.

Wearing a pro or anti whoever T-shirt is not heckling.

Right wingers have a hard time understanding that. Because, in their world, anything but complete surrender to their way of thinking in 'protesting' as deserves a smack in the gob.

I've been saying this for years: these are bad people, folks. No two ways about it.

Wolfpack

heck·le ˈhek(ə)l/ verb gerund or present participle: heckling

1.interrupt (a public speaker) with derisive or aggressive comments or abuse.

No, wearing a T Shirt is not heckling.

As for "They would likely end up dismembered and sold off piece by piece for biomedical research"

That is the kind of insane rhetoric so typical of conservatives, you can't even tell the difference between what is real and fantasy.

You are part of the problem. Case in point:

"Senator Obama suggested that his supporters bring guns in the fight against his political opponents"

5 ( +7 / -2 )

some are all to ready to follow him over that cliff.

It the nihilistic, belief so often found in fascism/totalitarianism an anarchism, that violence and death, and only violence and death, can purge society of its malaise.

These are dangerous people.

Trump... calls campaign 'a lovefest'

Yeah, Trumpstock!

Pull the other one.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

I don't see anyone wreaking havoc at Hillary's or Bernie's rallies.

Hmm. Wonder why. Perhaps this:

They shouldn't embrace the hip-hop thing and wanna-be gangbanger lifestyle. America needs to be made "whole" again.

See, a white man who sucker-punches a black man protesting Trump's exclusionary policies is a "downtrodden patriot who will not take it anymore!", while that same protester is a gangbanger thug.

Pretend all you want that this is not the case, but it is. Most Americans are not blind to it, and that explains his very, very hard ceiling. Unfavorability is often a better judge than favorability (many chose the latter if they have no particular opinion, whereas the former requires an opinion, and that opinion seldom changes). Trump's unfavorability ratings are off the chart! Who hates him? Pretty much everyone except middle-aged to elderly white losers - at the moment, 62% of Americans (those who are not white losers) hate him! And his numbers are getting worse, not better. http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/pollster/donald-trump-favorable-rating

So play with semantics all you want and laugh while you can. Tomorrow will see Trump rack up a majority of the delegates, Cruz follow not too far behind, and Rubio drop out after he loses to Trump in Florida. Kasich will probably take Ohio, so he'll stick it out to the convention, which is when the GOP knives come out or they roll over - and either way spells defeat in the general election. That is what will happen. Everything else is nonsense on the way.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

The geezer who clobbered Rakeem Jones was 90 years old.

He was 78, but that's not what matters. What matters is that he was white. If he had been a black 78-year old punching a white protester, he would be a thug. Thugness, see, has no age limit, but is limited to a certain race.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Lovefist more like.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Kasich will take Ohio... It will come down to how far the GOP establishment wants to intervene in what will undoubtedly be a contested convention. Whatever they do, though, they will lose

So what if Kasich takes Ohio? Who cares? When you ask that question, its hard to come up with an answer other than desperate establishment Republicans. OH is our seventh most populous state, two places behind IL, which vote on the same day. Sure, its a win: in a state he's the Governor. BIg deal. So, yeah, you got that right.

As for how things could play out, here is 'An Extremely Detailed Guide to What the Heck Might Happen at a GOP Contested Convention'

http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2016/03/10/a_contested_republican_convention_explained.html

Bottom line: a hell of a mess. Both as a process in-and-of-itself, with very publicly vetted delegate horse trading and promises of pork and pay for play -- right in front of today's media. And, as a result, no matter what happens, politically. All of America would be sickened by the wheeling and dealing, sausage making of political deals and wonder, WTF is democratic or representative about any of this?!? And Trumpites, were they defeated, would scream foul, and break the party apart.

And Dems would stroll into the White House, the Senate, and even the House.

The longer this farce goes on the more it mirrors in many ways the rise of Hitler. Hitler got the people onside playing them as the victims of other powers in having to pay massive payments to those who defeated Germany in WW1. He promised to make Germany strong again. He managed to convince most in the country that the Jews were the cause of many of their problems and the Germans duly began to despise them. With Trump it is the Muslims - and it is working for him. Hitler had the Brown Shirts roaming the streets attacking anyone (especially Jews) who spoke out against him. Whilst Trump does not yet have his version of the Brown Shirts I would not put it past him and his followers forming such a group to "defend" Trump at his rallies. His now common threats to opponents and warnings that "they better be careful" is becoming quite alarming. God forbid that he should ever become president.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

The Dems might have to split too to accommodate the more radical left

Since the 1960s, there have been two pro big business parties and no pro worker party. The Democrats were split between being very pro big business, and slightly less pro big business.

Being pro worker, pro common man, don't make you a radical. It makes you a Democrat. That is where we started: Andrew Jackson

So, yeah, it would be nice to have the Republican party die. They offer nothing but unfettered rapacious capitalism.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

It's a lovefest all right. If you love racism and people punching other people in the face, you're loving Trump's lovefest.

For anyone nervous about Orange Daffy's chances in the general, see the following:

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/03/off-message-joel-benenson-2016-220706

Bottom line: Dems start with a base of 257 electoral votes against any Repub. We need only 13 more. Virginia, Ohio, and Florida all have 13 or more. So do Colorado plus Nevada. Trump can't win any of the states in the 257 electoral-vote group. Because of all his hate talk against Mexicans.

So, yeah, build that wall. Dope.

Fizz, I wrote this about Kasich last December:

That's his magic - he doesn't seem insane, but look beneath the surface and his insanity is sufficient. Even his one major break with GOP purity - expanding Medicaid in Ohio - was done out of Christian belief. And a grand jury declining yesterday to indict anyone in the shooting of Tamir Rice lands in a sweet spot for him: he can simultaneously work to be a symbol of racial unity while dog-whistling that the system works as planned. Good days ahead for him, at least through the primaries.

Kasich will take Ohio, Trump will run most of the rest of the board, and by this time tomorrow, Rubio will have dropped out, making it a 3-person race. It will come down to how far the GOP establishment wants to intervene in what will undoubtedly be a contested convention. Whatever they do, though, they will lose.

“There’s no violence,” he said, describing his campaign as “a movement and a lovefest.”

Once again the MSM gives Trump more free publicity. Trump's taken cues from a variety of demagogues and manipulators who came before him.

Hitler's psychological profile:[5][6]

His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.[7]

“What they have to do is embrace this phenomenon and go with it. Let’s go win,” Trump said of the party’s establishment" - article

Embrace the phenomenal hate and "go with it"?

Dictators don't use reason, they use violence and fear.

And so far, that's all that Trump is known for.

[House spokesman Josh Earnest criticized] Trump’s Republican rivals for declaring they would back him if he wins the party nomination for the Nov. 8 election to succeed Democratic President Barack Obama. “At some point, somebody in the Republican Party’s going to have to step up and show some leadership,” Earnest said.

Absolutely. It's simply unfathomable how any of the candidates can still declare in any good conscience a willingness to support Trump if he gets the nomination, particularly knowing how toxic Trump and his supporters are for the party and the nation as a whole.

Whether you're a fan or not of Bush and Romney, they have the integrity and ethical backbone to say, "No, a win for the GOP at any cost is not the best thing for the country."

Where is Paul Ryan? Where is Mitch McConnell? Where is John Boehner?

For that matter, where is McCain? Colin Powell? Newt Gingrich?

Where is, dare I say it, Rush Limbaugh?

Why are none of these Republican powerhouses saying what we all know to be true, that Trump is a horrendous prospect as a presidential candidate in a way that makes Sarah Palin look almost enticing. Almost.

There is one topic Trump's lies are unnecessary to shield . . . torture.

In 2008, Senator Obama suggested that his supporters bring guns in the fight against his political opponents.

Wc, I'll concede that I don't support massive protests against Trump at this point, both for First Amendment and strategic reasons. Trump and his supporters have a right to wallow in their lovefest of hatred, and many on both sides are simply looking for an excuse to turn violent. For the libs, there's no upside to it. I suspect most on the left have realized this and hope they restrain themselves at least until after the conventions.

But, no, you're barely 1/4 correct. You're aware that Chicago has a large Muslim population. They are American, as much as you and I. Trump has suggested the need for a database of all Muslims. Exactly what he means is, typically Trump, opaque in sloppy language and multiple restatements, but such an existential threat goes beyond simple politics. And this is just one example of Trump's nativism. Some people have a right to be truly alarmed.

And, no, violence is never okay. When violence broke out at that KKK rally in Anaheim the other day, many demonstrators worked to protect those they came to demonstrate against. They are the heroes. You know, Wc, how dry the tinderbox of American society is. Zero tolerance for violence is the only way we'll get through this.

The Republican Convention will end in disgrace or permanently divide the Republican/Tea Party.

The choice is easy to understand.

Republicans will decide to endorse the racism, religious prejudice, torture policies and misogyny of Donald J. Trump, and his incessant lies, failed businesses and pathological delusions. (All well documented by his own words and deeds.)

Or, Republicans will reject the racism, religious prejudice, torture policies and misogyny of the so called Tea Party.

The international readers have some questions how Donald J. Trump, who denies reality with his “There’s no violence” lies, is any choice a Republican would endorse.

What the international must do is better understand the Tea Party, the actual perversion that Trump demands "they have to do is embrace this phenomenon and go with it." Rejecting Donald Trump isn't rejecting Republican beliefs. Rejecting Donald Trump is rejecting the racism and prejudice of the Tea Party.

The Tea Party was funny for a bit in their tri-corned hats and demands for 'watering the tree of liberty with blood'. That once disruptive tactic of screaming "they" wanted "their" country back has now become is a justification for violence. And Trump's dictatorial ignorance salivates at the possibility of its fruition.

The Republican Party is facing the test of character and conscience they failed under George W. Bush and Donald J. Trump fails daily. Either way, prejudice and hate are not the creed of Americans. Trump has tried as hard as he could to make America hate again and now he must face the reality.

If Donald J. Trump and the lunatic fringe of the Neo-Nazi, Ku Klux Klan and American Nazi Party want to carry their message of hate to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue the Republican Party will have to decide for themselves if they are ready to shoulder the banner of racism in the towns, villages and cities of the States.

On his own Trump has no power.

A loud mouth with a billionaire's contempt has placed his bet on a crass bunch of rubes and racism.

On his own Trump has decided to carry that banner of racism and told others that's free speech.

Americans are free to reject Trump and his lies and the Republican Party should be the first to tell Trump he is no longer welcome.

So ends the "brokered" convention and so ends the tacit racism Trump has tarred millions of Americans with. Shame on Donald Trump and his bigots. Will Republican redeem themselves or follow enslaved in Trump troop's of fools?

Trump seems in love with hate and his fans love to hate. That's called two pea brains in a pod.

Let's see how others are viewing Trump's calls for violence.

Donald Trump Could Be Charged With Inciting A Riot, Here What Police Are Considering As Arrest Petition Picks Up Steam, March 14, 2016, Meaghan Ellis

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office lawyer, Ronnie Mitchell, has released a statement about the possible charges being considered and how Trump’s actions coincide with inciting a riot.

“We are looking at the totality of these circumstances, including any additional charges against Mr. McGraw, including the potential of whether there was conduct on the part of Mr. Trump or the Trump campaign which rose to the level of inciting a riot,” Sheriff’s Office lawyer Ronnie Mitchell

November 2015, he made another comment along the same lines and expressed desires to punch a protester last month. With all of the statements encouraging the use of physical force, the Cumberland Sheriff’s Office reportedly believes Donald Trump can be linked to McGraw’s charges based on the accusation of inciting a riot.

No matter what, Trump has found his supporters and I doubt his supporters will just forgot everything that happened in this election cycle once he loses to the Dems. Surely they wouldn't except a return to establishment Repubs after seeing their treacherous sabotaging of Trump's campaign. Therefore the party will surely have to split in 2, maybe even 3. The Dems might have to split too to accommodate the more radical left

1 ( +3 / -2 )

LFRAgain, totally true - but you have to remember that those in the GOP must thread a very narrow needle: Deter the man who currently leads the party while at the same time not alienating his supporters. Whatever they do is bound to fail, of course, but putting failure off until the last possible minute is pretty much the only choice they have left.

Thank Donald J. Trump for his desperate attempt to legalize torture, then hand him his hat, Ciao Trump.

Because even though he might be a racist, he didn't cross any lines.

No way really to respond to this other than to point out that being a racist and sucker-punching a man under police escort doesn't apparently cross any lines, according to the Trumpies.

The whole Trump phenomenon boils down to the deep discontent in the electorate towards the Establishment candidates of both major parties. The Establishment on both sides will stop at nothing to block Trump despite the results of the primary contests. Likewise, the fervent Sanders supporters will be deeply disappointed when Clinton is foisted up as the D-ticket candidate.

"Part of being a winner is knowing when enough is enough. Sometimes you have to give up the fight and walk away, and move on to something that's more productive." - Donald Trump

If Trump is concerned about being productive he should be interested in what he is producing.

Trump is producing a TV show about Trump and the punch line is always the same. Someone gets punched.

And then Trump lies about it, again and again and again.

That's Donald J. Trump telling lies; not the media, not those who are brave enough to tell the truth about his lies and not those must continue to lie to shield their ignorance and racism.

While the literate can change, Trump never does, and no one is interested in his lies, American have heard nothing but lies from Trump for the past eight months.

Trump has had enough time to know what he is saying false but continues to lie.

"He said the level of campaign violence was inflated by the media and “basically” no one had been hurt at his rallies." - Donald J. Trump, from the article

On Friday, (Feb 26, 2016) politician, white supremacist, and former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke formally endorsed Donald Trump. He advised white people that a vote for anyone other than Trump "is really treason to your heritage."

This is not the first time Duke and/or the Klan have waded into presidential politics. In fact, a much younger Duke expressed similar sentiments in support of Ronald Reagan in 1984. Here is how the President responded:

"Those of us in public life can only resent the use of our names by those who seek political recognition for the repugnant doctrines of hate they espouse. The politics of racial hatred and religious bigotry practiced by the Klan and others have no place in this country, and are destructive of the values for which America has always stood." - Ronald Reagan

In contrast to Reagan's forceful and clear condemnation let's read Trump's lie: "I know nothing about David Duke; I know nothing about white supremacists."

The politics of racial hatred and religious bigotry is something Trump does know very, very well.

After stealing Reagan's campaign slogan, (and again lying that he made it up himself) and that there are no injuries or violence at his rallies it does make an American Voter wonder, 'if Trump cannot be depended upon to tell the truth, in even matters documented in video records, what kind of President will Trump be as a man who cannot help but lie?

The American is very wise to ask that question and Trump would likely lie about the answer given his record of lying.

(Trump specifically lambasted the "Klansman, Mr. Duke" as "not company I wish to keep" in 2000.) Who's lying now?

Until Trump condemns Holocaust Denier David Duke, the terrorism of the KKK and insanity of the American Nazi Party he is no friend of Democracy.

Trump's "disavow" is not condemnation. That it took Donald J. Trump two days to figure out if he could "disavow" is disturbing enough.

Historical Note: The Tea Party was the creation of Republican Richard Armey. Not knowing one's own history little helps the deliberate obfuscations of Donald J. Trump, the Republican Party and Armey's Tea.

From the Washington Post, December 25, 2012, in brief:

"Armey’s (Republican House majority leader, Richard Armey) role in the Republican revolution in Congress in 1994. And Kibbe’s youthful intellectualism drew a new generation of libertarian soldiers into the FreedomWorks fold. In 2010, the two co-wrote a book, “Give Us Liberty: A Tea Party Manifesto,” that became a New York Times bestseller and a successful marketing tool for FreedomWorks, which collected the book’s proceeds and used it to attract donations."

Students of politics are not well served with flimsy platitudes.

Texas A&M,

Leftists who don't learn from history are destined to repeat it. . . .

What a selective application of this phrase. Humphrey's loss in 1968 because HIS convention rally turned into a violent disaster. The general perception of the time was that if he, as an aspirant to the presidency, couldn't maintain order at a political rally, what hope did he have of protecting U.S. security on the broader world stage?

Cue forward to Trump's rallies which are more raucous and nakedly aggressive than anything seen since 1968. It's Trump who is ignoring the lessons of history by refusing to -- or being entirely unable to -- bring some sense of calm and civility to his rallies. It's Trump whose missed history's lessons.

Even if we were to believe the absurd lie that Trump does nothing to incite violence at his rallies, then at the very minimum, we would be left with the fair conclusion that he's utterly incapable of maintaining any sort of order at events planned by his campaign. That doesn't sound like the behavior of a man who supposed "gets things done."

If any of his fervent denials of culpability are to be believed, then this also means he's powerless to prevent the populist sentiment and mob mentality (a mentality he intentionally tapped into for short-term gains) from carry him to places he claims he doesn't want to go -- open racism, bigotry, xenophobia, violent protest -- all steeped in ignorance.

So, Trump possesses no ability to lead and is powerless to convince his fans from physically lashing out at opposing voices. What a spectacular choice for the presidency of the United States.

Meanwhile, back in the world of the sane, it would appear a significant number of Americans have learned history's lessons just fine and opted not to sit idly by while someone as morally and ethically reprehensible and vile as Trump traces an almost perfect trajectory toward the same tyranny of a shrill, vocal minority that allowed Hitler to rise to power. Very few protested Hitler's rise, or rather when they finally did, it was far too late. Not so with Trump, II'm happy to say.

With every protester whose exclamations, yells, and taunts -- let's just call them what they are, words -- with every protester whose words are met with violence by Trump's merry band of fools, he cements his place in history as a toxic stain on the fabric of U.S. politics.

I partly hope he wins the nomination so that he and his supporters can see firsthand the polls -- and in no ambiguous terms-- just how little America wants to do with him and his thinly veiled attempts to make racist exclusionism a viable political platform again. We're done with that garbage, no matter how angry his supporters claim to be.

Openly aggressive racist bigotry is not the new normal in America, Trump fans. Nor will it be anytime in the near future. Sorry to disappoint. Clinton or Sanders -- either one -- is perfectly able to clean Trump's political clock at the ballot box in November.

"Sarah Palin, who appeared ahead of Trump in Florida on Monday, said protesters were “trying to take away your rights” - article Palin's comically cocked dunce cap can't hide her belief that freedom of speech is Trump's property in his gated community of hate.

When Palin is the warm up act, the Trump roadshow of hate takes on all the luster of a dimwit reunion. Trump ran into another observation that bears a quick read . . .

Jonathan Chait writes an interesting insight in his piece, "Donald Trump Poses an Unprecedented Threat to American Democracy"

"Trump’s quarter-century-old endorsement of Chinese Communist Party repression went well beyond the familiar derangement of the modern GOP."

"Trump has changed his mind about many things, but a through-line can be drawn from the comments Trump made in 1990 and the message of his campaign now: “When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it. Then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength. That shows you the power of strength. Our country is right now perceived as weak."

Trump's dictatorship of dummies isn't playing well in the ears of most Americans.

What does stand out is the pattern of dictatorial pronouncements from legalizing torture to racial hatred and on to religious prejudice, but what tells Americans most about Trump's psychological and character flaws is an unending worship of dictatorship from Tiananmen Square to his uncertainty about waterboarding as a form of torture and repeated demands for his most bigoted to 'punch that guy in the face'.

Picking a nitwit to charge up his Neo-Nazi and KKK co-conspirators tells Americans more about the composition of Trump's clan of hate than just Trump's admiration for Chinese tanks at Tiananmen. It tells Americans the model of Trump's twisted view of democracy.

"Donald Trump . . . disavowed any responsibility for inciting conflict at his campaign rallies." - article

When the international reader looks at Donald J. Trump's record, they are informed by the lawsuit his operations have drawn in the States. No wonder lying about violence at Trump Loyalty Rallies is Donald's only defense.

Using a $6 million advertising campaign, Trump University was marketed to a database of more than one million potential students, including many senior citizens, as an “ivy league quality” university. The sales pitch claimed that Donald Trump was so “integrally involved” that student-victims would have an opportunity similar to his TV show “The Apprentice,” effectively gaining real estate secrets from Trump and his handpicked “faculty of professors and adjunct professors.”

However, Trump has already admitted in court that:

• His involvement was “completely absent.”

• He did not participate in events, teaching, content of the program.

• He did “not even know if students received a degree.”

source: https://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/articles/consumer-fraud/racketeering-charges-against-trump-20276.html

All of a sudden Donald J. Trump is the "truth teller"?

The only truth Trump tells is his insistence on torture.

Making America hate again, Trump plays on the racist, the bigot and the dullard.

His campaign of violence, religious insult and dictatorship of dummies is well represented and defended so any claim the poor Donald's free speech is imperiled is just poppycock.

At the tip of Trump's long knives of deception is the Truth and Integrity he has long since abandoned in craven schemes and deception to enrich himself without care for who is harmed.

The whole world is watching Trump's tribe and the whole world knows what Donald J. Trump is. How is it his most avid supporters haven't a clue?

I heard from some students that basically, they were satisfied, had No problems, but you have to put in the work, that means STUDY, if you don't, you can't expect good results.

• He did “not even know if students received a degree.”

Did he personally say this?

As if lawyers are always seeking the Truth. Remember O.J.?

All of a sudden Donald J. Trump is the "truth teller"?

So who then is an honest politician and please don't say, Bernie! I like Bernie, but the man hasn't owned up about his own personal responsibilities for egging his people on to disrupt Trump rallies.

The only truth Trump tells is his insistence on torture.

For the radical Jihadists that would come and do harm to us and to extract information from them to avoid any possible future attack, then fine.

Making America hate again,

That already started under Obama, so are already in the hate phase.

Trump plays on the racist, the bigot and the dullard.

But can your prove that he is a bigot?

His campaign of violence, religious insult and dictatorship of dummies is well represented and defended so any claim the poor Donald's free speech is imperiled is just poppycock.

What in the world are you talking about? Come on kc, you're reaching now.

At the tip of Trump's long knives of deception is the Truth and Integrity he has long since abandoned in craven schemes and deception to enrich himself without care for who is harmed.

Then you might as well lump Obama and Hillary, in fact if anything, they are the poster children of lies and deceptions.

The whole world is watching Trump's tribe and the whole world knows what Donald J. Trump is. How is it his most avid supporters haven't a clue?

The same way as the people that voted for this guy 7 years ago. Fooled, hook line and sinker.

"LoveFest" word of the year 2016 ! Trump has delivered something wonderful, God Bless America (!)

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

America, please help Trump hit rock bottom.

Quit begging. Quit nagging. Go out & urself get some popcorn. Super Tuesday is tomorrow-

Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential candidate who has delivered a furious attack on Trump, was campaigning for Kasich in Ohio on Monday.

The more they attack Trump, the more broke, hungry, frustrated and hopeless people are committed and determined to vote for him. USA does not need sugar coated President like current one. During his campaign for first term, Obama slogan was " Yes! We can! Now he has to say! No I can't! However he will never say like that!

Bush Jnr has said " I am a war president therefore I have to borrow more money". Unlike his predecessors, Trump is not polished, fabricated and shined. He is more likely straight talking cow boy without fear.

Trump will be the rudest, combative and nosiest President since 1776. If he can fix sky rocketing debt, high unemployment and illegal immigration, he will be forgiven for some of his weakness.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Many America political leftists are rude and lazy. Many America rightists are racist. Both are of pride. Both speak from entrenched positions. Likewise like most of us. Indeed human nature is fallen. Politicians hardly can deliver what they promised. Is it not between husbands and wives? Let's lower down our expectations of politicians and their fans.

@kcjapan,

Under the Geneva Convention 'Terrorists' have no protection.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

FYI....the Republican and the "Tea" party were never united to begin with.

You make Trump and his followers sound like evil monsters. The reality is quite different. Look into his past I suggest. I want secure borders....I'm no racist. I want cautious vetting of the Muslim immigrants, religious oppression, no.

Oh, and Hillary was recently endorsed by a leader in the KKK. Is she racist also for the same reason Trump is?

Think rationally. IF Trump was all those adjectives you claim he is, would he have been successful in anything in life? Nuff said.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Where is the love? Trump loves the Mexican citizens so much that he is encouraging their Gov to build a wall to protect their citizens and border. -It takes a lot of love to help a corrupt Gov like Mexico, but its' citizens are worth it.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

The concept that Mrs. Bill Clinton will become our next president ignores one big factor: There has never been a Democratic Party candidate with a more lie-laced history stretching back decades than her. Sure, the professional perpetual victims will cast their ballot for her, but that is not a big enough voting block to get her elected. . . .

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Rubio will have dropped out

Too young.

Kasich will take Ohio, Trump will run most of the rest of the board

What about Cruz?

Whatever they do, though, they will lose.

Hillary will make america "whole" again. Good. America never stopped being great. Has she hit menopause yet?? If not, expect "severe" negotiations every 28-days.

She will be angry. Watch-out ISIS. Watch-out mullahs. Watch out everyone. -I'm ALL for it too!

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

You can protest outside, you can disagree, but liberals going on and trying to stop Trump speeches every single time, will meet with more resistance and condemnation.

Yes. Protest. Disagree. But don't try to stop what he's got to say. "Free elections" remember. . . . ? Do your talking at the polls -where it counts most.

I certainly didn't buy into that whole "vote for change" thing. But as I recall, I didn't cause any violence, fear or openly threaten the obama supporters / voters. The McCain crowd never stooped as low as people like Rakeem Jones.

Trump aims for big U.S. primary wins; calls campaign 'a lovefest'

I've already posted this several times prior to this article. Its NOT hate, its luuuuuvv--

Right wingers have a hard time understanding that. Because, in their world, anything but complete surrender to their way of thinking in 'protesting' as deserves a smack in the gob.

& likewise . . . the Left have a "hard time" understanding why idiots like Rakeem Jones go into the Lion's den and get clobbered for their extreme antics. Stay classy Rakeem & his supporters.

Trump is doing very well. We have a border with Mexico. Even high school kids here are afraid if they flash the wrong gang hand signs (even in fun) they could get killed. This is very sad, but how can one ignore the powerful cartels? Trump is paying attention to the concerns of average citizens: Labor competition, Disease, Crime

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

As an undecided voter, I don't think Mr. Trump is the one inciting. The main reason the thugs and thugettes are disrupting his rallies is that they have been getting away with their BS for a long, long time.

The reaction from political leaders -- mainly liberals but the GOP is responsible as well -- is to say nothing to upset the thugs out of fear of being convicted of being a racist in the court of public opinion. All Mr. Trump has done is to not play the 'politically correct' game and tell his supporters to stand their ground and shove back what is being shoved on them. I think he is correct on this issue. It is high time to reject the BS from these fascist far left groups like Move. On, Daily KOS, DU, BLM, etc. . . .

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

No way really to respond to this other than to point out that being a racist and sucker-punching a man under police escort doesn't apparently cross any lines, according to the Trumpies.

I have a brilliant idea!! How about protesters go and spend their time using all their energy and turning it into positive energy to supporting their own candidates instead of harassing and intimidating others at a peaceful rally or just do it outside peacefully.

Also, I haven't heard a single condemnation for the people that started the ruckus. By the way, MoveOn.org and the BLM are planning more civil unrest.

Rhetoric=Bulls***. No one knows this better than Hillary and the Clintons.

You think that they would know that, but as we know the Clinton's when you think of Hillary, one word comes to mind: incarceration.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Zero tolerance for violence is the only way we'll get through this.

Nobody likes violence. Nobody wants a fight. Agree. . . . but when those thugs "press buttons" you expect us to stand still?

I'll concede that I don't support massive protests against Trump at this point, both for First Amendment and strategic reasons.

Fair enough. I dig that. & concede that Trump should NOT encourage punching people or agreeing to pay for the legal fees. Perhaps if everyone backed-off and let his campaign run fair n' square, there would be no violence.

I hope everyone does the "talking" at the polls. & may the best man / woman win.

You're aware that Chicago has a large Muslim population. They are American, as much as you and I.

I knew chi-town had sum Muslims, but not a "large" population. As long as they aren't "radical" there shouldn't be a problem . . . .but now I'm foot n' mouth cause Trumps wants to target them. If they can assimilate a little better -meaning being more open to America's ways . . . then we'd have some kind of foundation. A starting point.

It is them who need to accept living in a western (Christian / Judeo founded society) not us (we the people) bending over to "their" needs . . . . with all due respect.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

One district in Ohio that's staunchly democrats; at least half are switching to Trump. The polls are wrong just like Sanders in Michigan. Trump will take Ohio and kasich's diversion campaign that was started to help Jebs campaign, was redirected by the elite to thwart Trump, will shrink into the shadows as average Americans battle the 0.01%'ers.

Go Trump! Americans will never elect Hillary. You might as well face this now than be dumbfounded in November.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Heh, sorry, leftists. Time to wait for your MSM masters to feed you a new talking point. Mr. Trump is no longer the only "racist bigot" in the race for the White House. Citing her "hidden agenda", the current Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon of the California chapter (and who is also personally responsible for KKK recruitment in the western U.S.) Will Quigg, has endorsed Mrs. Bill Clinton for president.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

@Ptownsend,

True. He gets tons of press. The only problem is that it is all smearing and blanket statements. Most of the media is left-wing. For Trump to be able to keep going with all the smearing and media lies is an incredible feat.

@kcjapan,

Your comments are so unspecific and full of nonsense. Please provide details to Trump`s hate, racism etc.

@simondB,

The Hitler comments are typical left-wingy. Until he murders 6 million people any reference to Hitler shouldnt even be allowed on this board. That being said, Clinton has been the one responsible for regime change and death, yet shes winning. Go figure!

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

What bothers me is that the left always does this, they try to deflect and use excuses to justify what anyone with a brain can see that the protesters were totally out of line. Hecklers are part of speeches, always have been, but to storm a stage and disrupt a peaceful rally is just outrageous.

They try and try and it scares them to hell that Trump is a real and serious threat to liberals and if you read MoveOn, the Daily Kos and Black Lives Matters sites, they are planning more of these disruptions. Pathetic!

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Trump on torture: “We should go for waterboarding,” he (Trump) insisted, “and we should go tougher than waterboarding.” It was perfectly legitimate, he argued

And so?? What's ur point? The US gov doesn't want to waterboard anyone that doesn't already have it coming to them.

In 2008, Senator Obama suggested that his supporters bring guns in the fight against his political opponents.

Ohh !! But this can fly?

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Sarah Palin, who appeared ahead of Trump in Florida on Monday, said protesters were “trying to take away your rights” to gather peacefully “What we don’t have time for is for all that petty, punk ass thuggery stuff that has been going on,” she said

Ain't that the truth. I don't see anyone wreaking havoc at Hillary's or Bernie's rallies. Even adversaries can show respect, unless your one of those thugs like Rakeem Jones.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Leftists are quick to liken Mr. Trump to Hitler and his supporters as brownshirts. But in reality, they are the ones who are denying Mr. Trump his right to free speech and his supporters the right to assemble. Undicided voters like myself notice this disturbing trend.

Many of today's neo-leftists weren't even born when the last attempt to disrupt the U.S. political process took place in 1968. That year, they rioted in the streets of Chicago during the Democratic Party convention. The result was republican Richard Nixon wound up being elected U.S. President.

Leftists who don't learn from history are destined to repeat it. . . .

In 2008, Senator Obama suggested that his supporters bring guns in the fight against his political opponents.

http://www.factcheck.org/2011/01/obama-guns-and-the-untouchables/

@Wolf. Wow. Very interesting there. See! When obama says things like that, he gets away with it. (even the "pig" comments he threw @Palin).

But lord forbid Trump say anything like, "bring guns." You would never hear the end of it from the liberal Left. I could see it now. The JT thread would have over 300 anti-Trump posts. Pathetic-

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

The Democrats started on a platform to help people and in the beginning their endeavors were noble and highly respected and have pretty much always done well in dealing with humanitarian issues, but that has morphed into something far worse and sinister. The Democratic party of today is bent on destroying America, meaning: they feel as so called highly evolved intellectuals, they want to build this progressive utopia where intolerance rings supreme and to oppose anything that holds values, accountability or responsibility in society. This is exactly how we can see this through the Tyrannical rule of Obama and his minions, the climate of the country has changed for the worse and because of the liberals intent on drastically changing America, its traditions and family values, they are stunned and bewildered that the people have had enough and see Trump as a strongman that can deliver them from this racially divided and political correctness evil.

Americans saw what George W. Bush's lies created and it looks as if Trump is trying to repeat Bush's disaster and some are all to ready to follow him over that cliff.

Absolute Nonsense!

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

He was 78, but that's not what matters. What matters is that he was white. If he had been a black 78-year old punching a white protester, he would be a thug. Thugness, see, has no age limit, but is limited to a certain race.

I don't think so. Why do libs always play the race card? I just don't understand it.

Trump's unfavorability ratings are off the chart! Who hates him? Pretty much everyone except middle-aged to elderly white losers

Excuse me, but what exactly is a White loser?

at the moment, 62% of Americans (those who are not white losers) hate him!

And Hillary hovers over 68% with independents of all racial backgrounds.

And his numbers are getting worse, not better. http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/pollster/donald-trump-favorable-rating

I'm not surprised Huffingotn Post would say that. They aren't exactly Trump friendly.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Wearing a pro or anti whoever T-shirt is not heckling.

Well actually it is heckling via the written word but at least a shirt doesn't prevent a speaker from being heard. Imagine the grief a pro-life person would get wearing an anti-abortion T-shirt to a Hillary Clinton rally. They would likely end up dismembered and sold off piece by piece for biomedical research.

Right wingers have a hard time understanding that. Because, in their world, anything but complete surrender to their way of thinking in 'protesting' as deserves a smack in the gob.

I agree. Violence or threats of violence are wrong. Trump is being a punk by engaging in such stupidity. Everything in American society has become debased so I am not surprised that politics has become a reality show as well. But let's not forget that Sanders supporters in Chicago were inciting confrontation and are seen on video throwing punches. And Trump isn't the only punk presidential candidate in recent election campaigns. In 2008, Senator Obama suggested that his supporters bring guns in the fight against his political opponents.

Right wingers have a hard time understanding that. Because, in their world, anything but complete surrender to their way of thinking in 'protesting' as deserves a smack in the gob.

They want and have the right to say what they want as well as the left, but it should be done at the right time and place and disrupting an event is not the way-EVER.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

Trump is speaking for American citizens getting the shaft. for ex: illegal immigration problem-yes there is one, bad trade deals-yes they exist, terrorism from Muslim groups- yes they are real, bad job prospects-yes there is a major problem, lack of vet support-yes it is real, spending waste-yes it is outrageous etc, etc, etc. You should be thanking Trump for raising these issues.

Exactly! Now those are some "real" issues. Not like worrying about that whole LGBT thing . . . honestly, that issue can take the backseat.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

Even high school kids here are afraid if they flash the wrong gang hand signs (even in fun) they could get killed.

They shouldn't embrace the hip-hop thing and wanna-be gangbanger lifestyle. America needs to be made "whole" again.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

Advocate torture,

No, but I do advocate enhanced interrogations.

Bass. Torture. I can't stand these wishy-washy, evasive, gutless euphemisms.

Neither can I.

BINGO!

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

See, a white man who sucker-punches a black man protesting Trump's exclusionary policies is a "downtrodden patriot who will not take it anymore!", while that same protester is a gangbanger thug.

There's a lawful way to protest and then there are the middle fingers, belligerent and animated provocations. Next comes the burning, looting and shooting.

The geezer who clobbered Rakeem Jones was 90 years old. Not sum 6' 01" all-American, blonde hair, blu-eyed college freshman.

Pretty much everyone except middle-aged to elderly white losers - at the moment, 62% of Americans (those who are not white losers) hate him! And his numbers are getting worse

Good. I hope everyone votes 2016. Hillary / Trump, for better or worse.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Thugness, see, has no age limit, but is limited to a certain race.

(yawn . . . ) Was that old geezer out kicking up dust and hootin' & hollering (middle finger and all) at any democratic cadidates rally?? No. Because even though he might be a racist, he didn't cross any lines.

To the Rakeem Jones supporters: "If you want to dance, you got to pay the fiddler."

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

It's sad that some people are so partisan and bitter that they'd sink to utterly ignorant name-calling.

Its sad when people like Rakeem Jones go to a political rally, flip the middle finger at everyone, act a fool, get clobbered with an elbow and portray themselves as a "victim."

Its sad when protesters are showing up to the Trump rallies causing trouble. Their antics are unparalleled. Stay classy Left.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Picking a nitwit to charge up his Neo-Nazi and KKK co-conspirators tells Americans more about the composition of Trump's clan of hate than just Trump's admiration for Chinese tanks at Tiananmen. It tells Americans the model of Trump's twisted view of democracy.

What I don't understand is that groups like MoveOn.org, the Soros and the Bernie, BLM crowds, want to disrupt the Trump rallies, if you want to make the argument that Trump incited violence by telling people to punch these protesters in the face and he should take responsibility then the left should equally take responsibility for telling these groups it's ok to shut FREE speech down. Because what they are doing is equally hateful. You can protest outside, you can disagree, but liberals going on and trying to stop Trump speeches every single time, will meet with more resistance and condemnation.

Ok, then you can apply that to a lot of people, not just Trump. You can apply that to Washington in general.

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

No, left wingers think the rally disruption from professional paid protesters is a free speach right.

Wrong! The venue's are paid for by the campaign. They have a right to permit whomever the decide to be removed. It is rented space. Protesters shouting, tearing up the Trump placards, and agitating the crowd.

The reports since Friday's Chicago shutdown shows the protestors are the hateful ones. Some were violent, and breaking the law. All in the effort to supress free speach.

A lot of hipocracy in the anti-Trump folks. Just read them here.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

Desperate? If our our Sainted Anointed One would every now and then try to interrogate a terrorist and find out what their next moves are instead of killing them every single time, then Trump wouldn't have to advocate enhanced interrogations as much.
