Innocent people don’t spend every week in court for things such as defamation, financial fraud, rape, trying to overturn an election, and stealing classified documents, repeatedly lying about it and trying to cover it up.

Trump is a criminal, just like he’s always been.

But we don’t know behind the scenes what happened, they’re awfully quiet, so it’s safe to assume they got paid.

No it isn't. In Giuliani's bankruptcy paperwork, he said he didn't get paid.

When it comes to Trump, payment upfront first.

Trump is in court again. The legal fees are mounting up.

Many lawyers have refused to work for Trump.

More information here Bass. You don’t need to assume.

bass, just for your info.

Lawyers who quit representing Trump and others who refused

Joe Tacopina,

Chad Seigel,

Matthew DeOreo

Michael Cohen

Drew Findling

Jim Trusty

John Rowley

Tim Parlatore

.... and the list continues!

Looks like Trump is changing his lawyers (or is getting abandoned by them) like other people change their underwear!

So be it, just keep paying them

Except he doesn’t. He stiffs them like he stiffs everyone he owes money to. That’s why he’s got z-list representation.

They'll get paid.

Giuliani certainly hasn't been paid.

Many want the job as well.

No they don't. There's a reason Trump has to hire attorneys that work parking garages. lol

If that were true then there is no way he could get representation whatsoever knowing this. Come on, the left is working overtime now.

He can always get someone out of law school that wants the exposure of representing a clown on national television.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

He has no platform other than grievance. He has No policy other than saving himself.

He doesn’t give a damn about the rubes in his cult. They are money sponges and shields for his criminal liability.

He is a narcissistic sociopath.

So be it, just keep paying them

He pays his lawyers? Don’t tell rudy, he’s still owed $2m in fees.

Trump is a criminal, just like he’s always been

Yeah, we keep hearing this from the left.

And courts, and DAs, and Grand Juries, and former business partners, and former cabinet members…..

7 ( +7 / -0 )

But we don’t know behind the scenes what happened, they’re awfully quiet, so it’s safe to assume they got paid.

But we do know. Their finances were investigated during the hearings. There is no record of payment. They said they weren’t paid.

Rudy is not being ‘awfully quiet’. He claimed just last week that he is still owed $2m in legal fees for representing 45.

From one courthouse to another in various states for various criminal charges including fraud, rape and treason.

Is this guy the best candidate the republicans have?

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Trump needs the oxygen of headlines to stay relevant while keeping a tight grip on the GOP's nether parts. This court appearance is just another "much to do about nothing" show for his fans. The Mar-a-Lago witnesses for the prosecution alone plus the classified paper trail will decide the removal of this public nuisance from the front page in Florida.

In court again!

DeMan is going down, down, down, deeper and down!

Probably running his mouth again, getting him in even more trouble.

And got to love this one: "He has denied any wrong-doing."

So more or less he admits that he paid Stormy for something.

He just doesn't understand that it was something wrong.

I wonder what he's offered MAGA appointee Aileen Qannon. A seat on the Supreme Court, perhaps.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

He does. Not sure who’s telling you this.

Rudy Giuliani.

John Eastman.

Sidney Powell.

All got stiffed.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

how any classified information might be relevant or helpful to the defense,

”You know who I am? I’m Donald ‘Moe Green’ Trump!”

How dare Judge Aileen ask this! How dare she!

Last week? Yeah, ok...lol

Oh. You didn’t know.

Violated a subpoena even after his lawyers told him that was ILLEGAL..

Directing his lawyers to send a certified written letter to the DOJ stating that no classified remained at MAL - when it did...

Re-hiding his classified from the FBI then telling his aides to destroy the security tapes showing that...

Getting caught on tape waving around a classified warplan he previously claimed he declassified...

Smith couldn't have wished for a stronger case - even far-right pundits call it a "slam-dunk"...

Our MAGA-friends can delude themselves all they want by saying "it'll never happen"...it will just make their meltdown worse...

Bye-Don, Hello Leavenworth...

Trump has strong political support over documents legal issue, as President has legal rights to possess. Biden had none as Senator or VP. Trump had serious security detail, Secret Service, Biden, empty offices and garages.

Your point is moot here. Trump took classified documents intentionally without going through the process to declassify them. He then lied about it, asked his team to lie about it, and then when he got caught and realized his team had turned him in, he started threatening witnesses to try and silence them.

The only thing he has going for him here is that he elected the judge on the case and she has a history of bending the law to meet her personal political agenda.

Imagine this...

Trump is fired from bring the CEO (President) of the Trump Org (US) by the board of Directors (people)...

On his way out the door after being fired, he takes boxes and boxes of the company's proprietary files...

The company realizes this and demands them back, as he is no longer associated with the company - he refuses...

The company goes to court and obtains a court order for the files to be returned - and Trump'[s lawyer tells him that violating the court order is a CRIME...he does it anyway....

Trump returns some files, then tells his lawyer to send a letter to the court certifying there are no more files at his house - that certification is a lie, as 384 files remain....

Trump then re-hides these 384 files in another location and has his aides delete the security tapes showing them doing that...

And after saying all along that the files weren't the company's, he's caught on tape admitting that they are...

Think he'd be going to jail?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

So “Whaddabout?” Great answer!

What can I say?

How about saying whether its a crime if you willfully violate a subpoena, even after your lawyer told you that's ILLEGAL..

Or saying whether directing your lawyer to lie in writing to the FBI is a crime...

Or telling your aides to hide materiel that was required to be turned in under court order, then destroying the evidence is a crime...

So explain to us how these clear-cut violations of law are not crimes...even when Jonathan Turley said they were...

Judge VERY sympathetic to above and understands Biden's Special Counsel Hur's practical exit ramp, Biden while in office cannot be charged, already too old and unfit for any legal remedy, as his document possession crimes took place in some cases decades.

YES, YES! You serve at the pleasure of your client and if you feel that they are not meeting and serving your best interests or they are not able to perform a certain task and you need someone that is more versed and capable then you switch players, I would as well. Nothing wrong with that, I think it's a good strategy personally.

Is this guy the best candidate the republicans have?

Not just the best, the one that they can trust and one that wants to smash the Washinton establishment

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

Trump took classified documents intentionally without going through the process to declassify them.

Biden did as well, as a VP and worse, as a Senator.

Innocent people don’t spend every week in court for things such as defamation, financial fraud, rape, trying to overturn an election, and stealing classified documents, repeatedly lying about it and trying to cover it up.

Well, you have have the Washington swamp establishment go after him and make him the biggest priority to do whatever they can to keep an innocent man off the ballot repeatedly and throwing whatever you can does give some concern about our two tier justice system.
