Trump on Saturday plans to arrive in the state he lost to campaign for the GOP incumbents.

At this point Trump, his Republicans and other alt rightists (US and ‘foreign), Trump’s media, plus the troll farms in Moscow, Beijing, Ankara and elsewhere among other anti-democracy, pro-authoritarian groups continuing to back his insane claims of fraud know he’s LOST.

All they’re trying to do is inflict as much damage as they possibly can on the remaining bits of US democracy.

Given how many Americans parrot their Trump’s squawks of fraud it’s clear the extreme right have been successful reaching America’s sizable population of intellectually vulnerable, which includes the kraken conspiracy believers, many of whom actually believe in alien reptiles and other Qanon wack.

Ashamed you were elected President

17 ( +19 / -2 )

The Faux "news" interview and the WaPo piece on the 20 days between the election and the beginning of the transition show that Trump has clearly boarded the A train to crazy town.

He'll have some company....

8 ( +11 / -3 )

Hilarious that people will defend a Tweet that Biden can “only enter the White House as President if he can prove that his ridiculous ‘80,000,000 votes’ were not fraudulently or illegally obtained,”

Fortunately, the courts still believe that the burden of proof falls upon those making the accusations and since Trump and his cronies have no proof (or at best refuse to put the "proof" on display), this era of stupidity ends or at least isn't in charge of much in a few weeks.

13 ( +15 / -2 )

Oh well, that’s too bad.

The majority of Georgians were ashamed to have trump as President and so here we are.

Vote again in the run-off and stick it to him twice.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

Mr. Trump seems to be of the opinion that a Republican governor can automatically and naturally deliver victory to a Republican candidate regardless of their qualities and known performance in office. It doesn't work that way but Mr. Trump has never demonstrated a working knowledge in how elected representative government works. Clue Mr. Trump, you don't always get your way.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

The irony is that Mr. Trump has so poisoned the well many Republican voters in Georgia are talking of boycotting the Senate election since it's all rigged anyway. Please do!

Let's hope so. Biden really needs the Senate.

The conniving grifter needs to look up the word "shame" in a dictionary because his whole life has been one "big, beautiful", steaming, stinking pile of shamelessness. Thankfully, the unholy mess will soon be removed from the WH, but an orange stain will remain as a warning to posterity.

At the end, Hitler cowered in his bunker, raged at “disloyal” Generals and ordered counter attacks by units that were essentially destroyed.

The parallels are “interesting.”

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Trump should realize that being a Republican doesn't mean blind allegiance to him.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

By the end these states with all the “irregularities” will be decertified and their legislatures will assign the electors.

-12 ( +3 / -15 )

Blacklabel:. By the end these states with all the “irregularities” will be decertified and their legislatures will assign the electors.

Hey so what happened to that Act 77 lawsuit in PA you said would change everything?

Just curious.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

He also raged at the German people for being unworthy and betraying him and said they deserved the destruction that his hubris and madness had brought down on them.

But once Hitler was gone the Germans quickly rebuilt and went on to enjoy tremendous prosperity, personal freedom and global respect.

One hopes the parallels will continue.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Trump insults people and then expects them to support and vote for him.

It's worked for him so far. Look at how he has disparaged various Republican politicians who now cower at his feet begging to do his bidding. Goes to show what kind of insecure low self esteem trash inhabits the Republican Party.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

By the end these states with all the “irregularities” will be decertified and their legislatures will assign the electors.

Lololol you said the same thing about Michigan and Pennsylvania, too. Trump fans spent $3 million dollars to do a recount in Wisconsin and Donald lost by an even larger margin.

Outside court, Trump's team claims massive voter fraud, but never in court. I wonder why that is? It's because there's no massive fraud. At some point, Trump fans are going to have to face reality and accept Donald lost. No court is go to steal the election for Donald.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Excellent point. Trump probably knows there is no fraud. It's all a scam by Trump to get his devoted followers to shell out loads of money to his so called lawsuits. Millions upon millions of dollars are being donated to his cause by his gullible flock. It's just ironic that he's the one committing fraud.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

The Supreme Court of PA threw it out while avoiding any comment on on the unconstitutionality of it.

Just said they should have filed before the election that someone would cheat during and after the election. Yet, if they filed before the election, it would have been thrown out as being premature.

So Supreme Court, here we come.

Also Pearson v Kemp in GA has hearing this week.

Hey so what happened to that Act 77 lawsuit in PA you said would change everything?

Just curious.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

again, Trump doesnt have to win any case or show any fraud.

Just if the state Legislature isnt satisfied that what happened was legal or fair and they accept all these historical and statistical anomalies as being a problem, then they send their own electors to Congress.

Perfectly constitutional and requires Trump to do nothing at all

The video from the CNN guy explains it all.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

Trump has made baseless accusations that illegal votes cost him the election in Georgia and beyond. His legal challenges have failed in several states.

And his Presidency failed spectaculary, overall.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Give it another 6 months and the neutered GOP will be saying the same thing about trump!!!

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Perfectly constitutional and requires Trump to do nothing at all

Well, if trump has a talent, doing nothing is way up there.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Go for it Donald - wage war against all those weak, limp RINO Repubs....

Remember all those insults from 2016; Lying Ted, Little Marco, Sick Lindsey,

Tell your supporters to stay home - and let the varmints be voted out in humiliation....

You know, just like you are now....

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Just if the state Legislature isnt satisfied that what happened was legal or fair and they accept all these historical and statistical anomalies as being a problem, then they send their own electors to Congress.

Bzzzzt. Wrong again. Most states, because of what happened in 2000 and the idea that there might be 'faithless electors' or that states might go rogue over the popular vote, passed various laws that removed state legislatures from the certification process, or in states where that was not allowed due to the state constitution, bound the legislature to the popular vote.

In other words, you're peddling nothing but trash and calling it treasure.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Its literally the Constitutional process for cases such as these.

You guys sure loved this "electors can vote for whoever they want, regardless of who won" thing in 2016.

Faithless electors will save America, wasnt it? It was celebrated as patriotic by the Washington Post and others.

Glad to see you prefer authoritarianism to democracy. If you can’t get what you want from the people, just ignore them. Very patriotic.

Its literally the Constitutional process for cases such as these.

Cases that have all been thrown out by Republican-appointed judges, you mean?

You guys sure loved this "electors can vote for whoever they want, regardless of who won" thing in 2016.

Electors selected through the customary process and those chosen by partisan legislatures aren't quite the same though, are they.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

They havent "all" been thrown out.

See: Pearson v Kemp in GA.

Also Bush lost every case up to the Supreme Court.

Do you really think some low level judge is going to decide this? Antifa will be at his/her house by dinner time.

Supreme Court exists for this exact reason.

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

isnt Hillary an elector this year? how was she "selected" in a non partisan manner?

You do know that electors are donors to political campaigns that are rewarded in this manner, dont you?

Electors selected through the customary process

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

I can't fathom how some people can actually still believe that there was any kind of widespread fraud in this (or any) election. I don't know if they are acting in their own good faith or not, but either way, it's kind of scary. We are completely out of the usual "political debate between left and right" and 100% into "the earth is flat and anything that proves otherwise is a lie" territory.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Do you really think some low level judge is going to decide this? Antifa will be at his/her house by dinner time.

Aaaah! So that’s why they’ve all failed.

The judges are afraid of Antifa. It all makes perfect sense now. So Pearson vs Kemp is just a waste of time then? Antifa must have put the heebie jeebies on the case already.

And let me just check, to be sure;

Do you truly believe this?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

maybe you will accept it if CNN explains it to you.

https://edition.cnn.com/videos/tv/2020/09/27/exp-gps-0927-fareeds-take.cnn

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

certainly. This is why its going to the Supreme Court.

Did you not see the physical threats to the Michigan certifiers? Their children were even doxxed.

Do you truly believe this?

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Absolutely bonkers.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

certainly. This is why its going to the Supreme Court.

And when that proves to be dead end for you, what will you do next?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Are CNN and their employees Fareed Zakaria and Van Jones lying to us?

Both have said exactly how Trump wins under the Constitution.

Nothing they said has changed or is incorrect.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

The Dominion server "crashed" during the Georgia recount.

Recount "delayed".

Technicians from Dominion dispatched to "resolve the issue".

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Lol CNN are now your beacon of truth and light. Did you get hacked?

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Why does Trump want to stay in office so badly? It's like his life depends on it or something. He failed. So has Ruby....needs to shop for some new hair dye.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

do please keep up with recent news. Oh did you not know GA has a recount going on?

https://www.11alive.com/article/news/politics/elections/fulton-election-recount-server-crash/85-167dd463-64b8-4f78-993e-3cfabc9d7537

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Black,

We all know that GA has a recount, actually a 2nd recount going. The 1st one did not change the outcome and the 2nd won't either.

We all also know that GA cannot change the electoral college outcome. PA, MI, WI and AZ are done and that is more than enough.

Claiming fraud doesn't make it so. It requires proof and there is none (because there wasn't any). This is the fever-dream of the chemically addicted, the cognitively impaired and/or the mentally unstable.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

To summarize: “Liar, liar straight jacket on fire”

6 ( +7 / -1 )

BlacklabelToday  11:46 am JST

isnt Hillary an elector this year? how was she "selected" in a non partisan manner?

You do know that electors are donors to political campaigns that are rewarded in this manner, dont you?

What difference does any of that make. I presume that if Trump had won the State that Hilary Clinton is an elector in, a Republican would have been selected instead, and would have absolutely no intention of doing anything other than following the party line. Right? Incidentally, how would you feel about Democratic State legislatures appointing electors if the vote count was disputed. I can't imagine Trump advocating it.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Clock's ticking.....and your time is just about up and probably forever but my suggestion is he and a lot of the GOP - Cruz, McConnell and Rubio for starters - need to break and form their own party. I would say Sore Loser Party sounds about right.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

One really has to wonder just how delusional a person would have to be to believe that: A) There was actual wide-spread voter fraud in multiple states involving hundreds of people from both parties and B) That the Supreme Court will decide that against all evidence to the contrary, that the election results should be overturned and Trump installed for a 2nd term.

It just beggars belief.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

As stated before...

SC isn't going to take up Trump's hail mary. They already turned down the request to expedite hearing on a petition for a writ of certiorari on ballots mailed but not received on election day and deadlocked on overturning the Pennsylvania lower court ruling. Roberts isn't willing to have the SC look political regardless of the Republican skew of its members so don't expect them and Coney Barrett to come through for Trump in the end. She already skipped out on ruling on the above-mentioned Pennsylvania case, so she's clearly thinking of her next 20-30 years on the court and not Trump's last 50 days.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Then without PA? and without MI? and without WI? one by one they all fall down.

Even without Georgia, Biden would still be on 291 EC seats. Over the line.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

THIRD order today in GA case Pearson v Kemp, overruling Dominion and GA state demand to erase all the data on the voting machines.

"Defendants are hereby ENJOINED and RESTRAINED from altering, destroying, or erasing, or allowing the alteration, destruction, or erasure of, any software or data on any Dominion voting machine in Cobb, Gwinnett, and Cherokee Counties".

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

The best part about this is knowing that Kemp KNOWS he should never have supported Trump to begin with, but did because he's as much a coward and most in the GOP, and now that he has decided to follow the law, he is reaping everything he sewed with his unwavering report and extreme cowardice, much like anyone and everyone else who supports Trump.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Then without PA? and without MI? and without WI? one by one they all fall down.

The only ones falling one by one are the vocal trump supporters here. You’re the last domino. Believe me it’s not a sign of resilience or integrity.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Blacklabel:. The Supreme Court of PA threw it out

Yep, they voted unanimously against Trump with prejudice.

Just said they should have filed before the election. Yet, if they filed before the election, it would have been thrown out as being premature.

Your last sentence is completely untrue. In fact, the judges specifically mentioned the time to challenge the law would have been right after it passed in 2019. The judges ruled the case was moot because of the Latches Doctrine which is sound legal reasoning.

They can argue to change Act 77 but it won't have an impact on the last election. The judges basically said you can't go along with a law when it helps you then suddenly challenge it years later when it doesn't.

And finally, you are failing to see the distinction between legality and remedy. Judges at all levels have made it abundantly clear that even if Trump could prove his case (which he can't) throwing out an entire state election and handing it to the loser is not a remedy they will consider.

Blacklabel:. https://edition.cnn.com/videos/tv/2020/09/27/exp-gps-0927-fareeds-take.cnn

Thanks for the link from Sept 27. I love Fareed. Even read one of his books.

He's describing a situation where the Senate simply throws out the popular votes in some states and sends them to Trump or eliminates then entirely. Since the election, zero states have shown any willingness to touch this, even Republican controlled states.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Just said they should have filed before the election. Yet, if they filed before the election, it would have been thrown out as being premature.

THIRD order today in GA case Pearson v Kemp, overruling Dominion and GA state demand to erase all the data on the voting machines.

If things don't work out for Trump the only thing left is civil war. The next thing Trump will do is call on his Bundies, 3%ers, Oath Keepers, KKK, Dylann Roof, Proud Boys, and the rest of the White supremist QAnon to fight violently. And this has to be done. Otherwise the same thing will happen to Trump in 2024. As anyone knows, slavery just didn't stop. There was a war to free the slaves just like there needs to be a war so the election is not stolen from Trump (and not only this time)
