It’s MY Supreme Court!

MINE!

Trump’s lawyers submitted the Supreme Court application to Justice Clarence Thomas, who oversees emergency matters from Florida and several other Southern states. Thomas can act on his own or, as is usually done, refer the emergency appeal to the rest of the court.

No surprise that he submitted to the appeal to Thomas - a radical judge who uses the judgements of seventeenth century British witch finders to support his judgements - a man who is only slightly less deranged than his wife.

The 11th circuit threw out the claim, slapping down the Trump-elected joke judge Aileen Qannon, and if Thomas supports it, it will be clear that he has no interest in the rule of law, but only supporting Trump.

Yeah, good luck w/ that one Don.

This isn't a left-right thing. It's a law thing.

And law's don't seem to be Trump's thing.

I could be wrong, but I don't see 5 votes for this. There shouldn't be ANY votes for this and maybe his toadies Clarence and Sam will give him some cookies, but I really do not see 5 votes for overturning a pretty definitive ruling by an already conservitive 11th Circuit.

No conflict of interest there, none at all.

ML apps have been shown to be able to provide competent legal advice.

And maybe it is the time for the Supreme Court, which has shown itself to be uselessly politicized and antiquated, to be superseded by automation as well.

Trying to mail Trump just doesn’t seem to be working out for Dems, try as they might.

Trying to mail Trump just doesn’t seem to be working out for Dems, try as they might.

Wrong is wrong, and the law's the law. This silly team sports angle you always take is as convincing as Trump's legal arguments.

He's gonna lose. He stole documents, he lied about it, and he tried to obstruct justice. Doesn't matter what political persuasion you have.

And a decision in his favor would not stop the DOJ from moving forward with its investigation.

But the law and the facts, as well as National Defense concerns are not on Don-con’s side.

It's curious what they consider confidential given that the Carter Page fiasco has revealed that the the government's witness in the Russian collusion conspiracy, was a paid informant. And that his identity was classified as secret just long enough for the information to be concealed from public scrutiny while Page made application for a suit before the court's only to be revealed after his application was struck down because of a lack of merit.

Had that information been public knowledge the government couldn't have argued the merits of his case about allegations of a government conspiracy and official corruption on the part of FBI personnel. He would have won the suit for damages and subsequently the attorney general would be bound to investigate criminal proceedings and charge those responsible for the whole Russia hoax.

Page was unlawfully pursued and accused, spied upon by the FBI and faced death threat's by disaffected left wing moralists presenting as patriot's because of a false narrative fraudulently presented to the FISA court by the FBI - who'd classified the information that would put their narrative before the court in a completely different light. But deliberately leaked their lie to the public specifically to do maximum damage to their targets.

Page as well Trump and everyone else in the Trump campaign that was subject to the effects of the lie that Hillary and Co paid for in their failed effort to gain office in the 2016 election were all libeled, slandered and injured because of these criminal acts.

The thing that made it work for them is the ability to classify the data that would bring down their lies.

Trump as president had the right to declassify anything he saw fit. And if their so called array of classified documents contain anything to do with these underhanded shenanigans, it's definitely exculpatory and privileged.

It's also probably a contempt of court for the justice department to seize the documents and seek to criminalize a suitor for possession of evidence against them.

Now the left cares about the law? Well, tie me to a tree and slap me with jelly and jam, finally, an awakening.

No, I just see desperate Democrats throwing everything at this guy and nothing is sticking and that time clock is almost up, so yes, I am laughing.

He's gonna lose.

Doesn't seem like it.

Well, it does and if there WERE any criminal wrongdoing on Trump's part to the point where he could be arrested and be sent off to prison won't happen because of the bloodlust that the Dems have for this guy. The fact so many of them are lawyers they used every trickery and tactic to try and get whatever they could to get this guy and if they could have brought charges on him that would and could put him away, they would have already done this, that has not happened and it's not going to happen.

Bass4, enough Trump supporters have died from COVID-19,too guarantee the Dems, the house and Senate

It just keeps getting worse for The Donald....

*Former President Donald Trump personally packed a trove of documents** returned to the National Archives in January, while keeping many records back, The Washington Post reported.*

*Trump also instructed a lawyer to say all the documents sought by the records agency had been returned**, the paper reported. It said he refused to do as he could not be sure it was true.*

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-personally-packed-stash-documents-120026586.html

The DOJ already had plenty of evidence - this just seals it....

It puts Trump's hands directly packing his cartons of stolen TS/SCI and solidifies the obstruction of justice charge by him telling his lawyer to lie...

This lawyer was smart enough to refuse - the one that put in writing in June that "there is no longer any classified at Lar-A-Lago" and then the FBI found boxes full in August is hosed....just like his client...

ROFL..

What? This is October, NOT April 1st.

Worms always wriggle.

We see the Dems on the hook.

its just a bunch of speculative talking until there is a conviction.

Not even an indictment yet much less anything else.

You talking about a job you claim know you are gonna get.

when you havent even filled out an application much less went through multiple interviews and been selected.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

Request denied. Frivolous case. If you can't do the time don't do the crime.

Emphasis on "YET."

It's coming.

His only sound defense is mental incompetence and/or insanity.

He makes a convincing case.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Trump "Anyone who takes the fifth is already guilty!"

Then in New York he took it 440 times.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

It's coming.

When and in which multiverse? Not this one.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

"Former Presidents" don't have any power. You lost dude. Get over it. You belong in jail for any of hundreds of violations of criminal law. It just takes time to prove them.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Trump is backed into a corner. Wasn't it Trump who demanded a special master?

Oh, THAT'S going to age well.... About as well as a Trump statement of financial position or an auditor's report on said statement.

Trump is backed into a corner. Wasn't it Trump who demanded a special master?

Oh, if I could have $50 for every time I heard that, I’d be richer.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Now the left cares about the law?

Yes. Along with other conscientious humans.

Taking documents from the WH is illegal. So is lying about it.

You deny this?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

yep “the walls are closing in”.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Now the left cares about the law? Well, tie me to a tree and slap me with jelly and jam, finally, an awakening.

Huh?!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Oh, if I could have $50 for every time I heard that, I’d be richer.

And still destined to be both incorrect and looking foolish.

Funny how claims of wealth and being accurate in predictions are not necessarily correlated.
