Uh-oh. When Trump rejects the media's assertions and says all is fine, you've got about a month.

Steve better dust off that resume.

At least Cadet Bonespurs won't fire him, he's too much of a coward for that. He'll let John Kelly do that.

I'm kind of curious, who eventually will fire Kelly? We all know Bonespurs is too much of a coward to do the firings himself... and nobody in the White House is higher in rank... so will Bonespurs just cry wolf, or do you think he'll summon the courage at 3AM to send a Tweet?

Steve better dust off that resume.

Don't be so sure he'll need it - Trump's swamp creatures are all furiously filling their pockets from this woefully corrupt "administration" - from fat King Cheeto on down. Poop rolls.

Apparently, Trump is fuming over Mnuchin for two reasons: the stock market (down for the year) and the Fed raising interest rates. Neither of these does Mnuchin have any control over, but a furious Trump must find a scapegoat, and he seems to have chosen Mnuchin as Mnuchin is someone he can have someone fire.

Intelligent people can only work so long for Trump before they have to leave in order to preserve their own sanity. There are too many rumors about Trump being a 'moron' etc. that they can't all be false. Most likely they are all true. His judgement of people would seem to be extremely flawed considering the ridiculously high turnover he has.

Only an IDIOT would work for the Orange one! Seems like  a lot of "supposed" intelligent people are also clearly IDIOTS!!!

Carry on!

The shopping centers and large malls have more people shopping than ever. Police are having to direct traffic because their are no parking spaces. In store and online sales are at record levels. Anyone who says retail isn't doing good this holiday season is flat out lying to your face.

And nothing you said has anything to do with anything said in the story. Nothing to do with trade issues with China, or the stock market, or the Fed rates.

"And nothing you said has anything to do with anything said in the story."

Au contraire!

"The Fed, an independent body, has raised its benchmark interest rate three times this year, much to the chagrin of Trump who views the hikes as a threat to the economy..."

Shopping has a lot to do with the economy. Point Serrano!

"retail isnt dying just brick & mortar stores are as online companies takes their market share."

Yeah? Oh my...

Brick-and-mortar stores aren’t dying: Former Saks CEO

many big b&m retailers have closed or resized to stay competitive with ecommerce many of them going online as well. but this image of sprawling shopping malls expanding accross America is long gone, retailers can now make do with online sales in much smaller warehouses with fewer staff, of the about 1100 shopping malls in the US about a quarter are expected to close within 5~10yrs

Citing Trump's advisors, the Journal reported that Trump has also voiced his displeasure over Mnuchin's skepticism toward punitive trade actions against China, as well as recent volatility of the stock market.

Who are these alleged "Trump's advisors" that The Journal claim as their source? Do they actually exist? Do they have Russian accents?

Let's see, who else has Trump expressed his confidence and "backing" for;

Sean Spicer

Reince Preibus

The "Mooch"

Rex Tillertson

Tom Price

Scott Pruitt

HR McMaster

Gary Cohn

"Omarossa"

He even said some nice things about Sessions until he recused himself (and started calling him Mr Magoo)

Hope you have your resume up to date Steve...

Lol, Serrano I warned you. The magical fluff of an economy "boosted" by tax cuts, and rolling back federal regulations has CONSEQUENCES as well as Trump's specific brand (and complete ownership) of a global trade war he started.

Did the writers have a psychic on their team or what?

I wonder how much the incoming congress can prevent further long term damage in the coming year.

Inflation (and the increasing cost of living) to me is like having wages garnished off a paycheck for not paying off credit card debt for too long.

Short term gain, long term pain...

@HonestDictator The Simpsons is your proof that the economy will collapse after Trump? Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

Oh, man, my belly actually hurts after that one! Thanks!

@lincolnman You forgot Mueller, lol
