"WASHINGTON — Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said on Tuesday the United States should use waterboarding" - article

Donald J. Trump proves imbecile. The GOP/Tea has now only one choice, expell the Torturer in Chief, Donald J. Trump, sociopath.

2 ( +8 / -6 )

What other 'interrogation methods' does he have in mind?

The rightist imagination knows no bounds in these areas.

Do any of the torture advocates here have any clear suggestions? 'Whatever it takes' is not a suggestion. Have the courage of your convictions and name them. Straight-talking Trump is a little wimpish here. Out with it!

"What other 'interrogation methods' does he have in mind? The rightist imagination knows no bounds in these areas." - comments

Donald J. Trump has defined his followers of hate and destruction. Too filled with ignorance to care, too stupid to achiev anything except pulling the trigger on a gun.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

These type of terrorists have no restriction on what harm they'll do to innocent people. In return should they be treated with respect and dignity when they may harbor a wealth of information? Put them in a US jail and see if the prison population would beat them to death. Only other radicals would step up and protect them.

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

More wannabe tough guy talk from the man with small hands. Trump only impresses those who similarly don't know any better. And are challenged with small hands.

Just like how his followers are impressed by his blue-collar act on what it means to be rich,

Suckers. Born every minute.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

In return should they be treated with respect and dignity

Yes they should, because it isn't 'in return' and it isn't them, it's us doing the treating. And we aren't like them.

BINGO!

I'm with Trump on this 100%

-9 ( +6 / -15 )

Trump is a buffoon. Sadly all that it would take to get him elected is another terror attack in the US. If that happens, the sheep will flock to him looking for protection. And the world will be a much darker place.

7 ( +12 / -5 )

It could RainMonster. Not that I want to see an attack anywhere but if one in the USA takes place the democrats are screwed. The liberals just want to hold hands and look the other way. This international terrorism has escalated in the last few years. Looking away is not the answer.

-8 ( +3 / -11 )

Bass4funk and Mark G. "Looking away is not the answer"

Knee jerk irrational and hysterical responses are not the answer either friends.

So you agree with committing war crimes? You agree with trampling on every decent aspect of what separates us from the terrorists.

So in 2011 32,000 people died in the US from gun violence. Compared to less than 1,300 from ALL ISIS attacks outside of Syrian and Iraq since 2014. That works out to about 1.9% of gun deaths per year.

Are you also onboard to end guns in America to protect us? Are you onboard to control them so that the other 30,000 people will be protected? Or is your support for Trump's terrorism policies just hysterical fear over something that is less dangerous to you and your family than the common bathroom accident?

See if we give up all that makes us a just and peaceful society to quell a fear that is less dangerous to us that the common bathtub or automobile, then the terrorist win! Get it? They win! Why? Because they have ruined everything that defines our civilisation so a few hysterical reactionaries like you can be happy and feel a little more safe. Something profoundly irrational since the very same people will fight to the death to keep guns on our streets.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Trump is a buffoon. Sadly all that it would take to get him elected is another terror attack in the US. If that happens, the sheep will flock to him looking for protection. And the world will be a much darker place.

Can't be darker than what we had for the past 7 years.

-9 ( +5 / -14 )

Mr. Trump is correct on this issue. People prepared to spread the sort of chaos and misery that we have seen this week have waived any sort of human rights that the PC Brigade think they should have.

Until a concerted effort is made by Western political leaders to wipe out both Islamic terrorist scum and those who support them, weak kneed politicians will continue going before microphones blowing hot air about condemning the actions, make colorful gestures on Twitter/Facebook and then vanish until the next 'event'. . . .

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

Bass4funk. I am certain you cannot begin to prove why the last 7 years have been dark beyond hatred for Obama. The factual numbers on the economy, jobs and deficit all support that President Obama has done a great job. And done so despite the spiteful obstructionism practiced by the corrupt and inept GOP leaders in congress.

Where was your outrage as GWB trashed the economy and gave charity to the big banks during his reign in office? It is sickening to see how much racism and bigotry have led a small but noisy segment of our country to condemn everything the president has done these past 7 years. Especially since much of that improved the state of life for hard working people of all classes. It is delusional to persist in this perspective when the factual numbers so obviously disprove these notions that you have.

Further, this affinity for Trump, a liar, a cheat and a poor businessman again underlines the fact that most of this hysteria for Trump and against Obama has roots in the old familiar evils of prejudice, hatred, bigotry and above all fear.

So unless you have numbers to back up you insinuations, then give it a rest. We have heard this story before and it is not more true the 50 millionth time told by someone without a clue about factual reality than it was the first time.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Terrorism is a World issue and not just confined to the west.

The whole world has to work together to try to keep it to a minimum!, as it will never totally eradicated.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Can't be darker than what we had for the past 7 years.

Oh yes it can. Yes it most definitely can. I hope you don't live to regret making the above comment.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

It''S Me. I could not agree more.

Istanbul, one of my most loved cities in the world, had an attack last week that barely got covered on the news. Just a footnote really. Yet Istanbul is considered to be a European city too.

There is an inherent capacity for the west to see its own tragedies as the only ones that matter. ISIS murder numbers outside Syria and Iraq are less than 1300 but upwards of 170,000 have been killed in Iraq and Syria in the same time period. Thus the mass flight of the population seeking safety and shelter elsewhere.

One of the many causes of terrorism is this inequity between the value of western lives and those of people in other parts of the world. Until we begin to really address and change this, then terrorists will continue to be created in the worlds where life is treated less preciously.

Trump's policies promise to pour gasoline on the fire that causes terrorism. His rhetoric suggests profound ignorance of the actual roots of the problem and are a knee jerk reaction rather than any kind of rational policy thinking. And sadly his uneducated and fearful flock will eat it up as real and effective.

We cannot become purveyors of violence. We cannot ignore the suffering of people outside the west. We cannot sit by and let 170,000 people die and then be enflamed when 31 are killed. We should be outraged and dong something about every single life that is lost to terror. And in doing something, we should be finding and implementing solutions to reduce the threat of terror at its roots and not by corrupting the liberty and reason of our societies.

Trump at least has the guts to said the evil for what it is, and the guts to want to tackle it head-on. We are dealing with mindless, heartless people bend on killing and destroying innocent citizens. The place for these terrorism sympathizers are deport them to their host countries and no more welcome for them & families, and very tough law and order of capital punishment and severed caning whilst in jail for the terrorists and cahoots.

What if it's one of your family members at the Brussels airport were just bombed and killed?

Huh? Did you hear obama's mumbo-jumbo statement from Cuba? About how he will continue to support our allies and this & that, bla, bla, bla?

You got the wrong guy. Obama is the coward. He stopped the waterboarding. Why? Why so soft on radical islam? Ohh wait . . . i forgot, they're "contained."

-9 ( +4 / -13 )

Looks like most of commentators here do not care much about those killed by Daesh. European race in America and elsewhere is destroying it self by meekness, political correctness and competition for political power. Meanwhile Daesh can achieve its goals of expanding and eventually taking over not only middle east but all of north Africa and Europe as well.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

@wc, bla bla bla as in 'I once saw some Chinese Americans watching NFL in San Francisco and said wtf'? You're the king when it comes to nonsensical racist rants.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

@Torafusu. Look pal! Don't take it out on me because Belgium was blasted by radical islam. And that the politicians I support take a tougher stance on this issue compared to politician you support.

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

European race in America and elsewhere is destroying it self by meekness, political correctness...

Zvonko, the "European race" came closest to destroying itself - twice! - early in the 20th century due to precisely the xenophobia and populism that many on the right are trumpeting now. The only reason a "European race" exists is because they resolved to get over it.

These things take time. The worst reaction would be to jettison the very values that have lead to a common Europe, and are leading to a common world.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

The Senate Intelligence Committee concluded in a SIX THOUSAND page report that the CIA's use of 'enhanced interrogation techniques' (a euphemism for torture) "was not an effective means of obtaining accurate information or gaining detainee cooperation". It didn't work! So torturing people out of spite is just pointlessly vicious. In the words of Nice guy Eddie, "if you beat this p*** long enough, he'll tell you he started the goddamn Chicago fire, now that don't necessarily make it so!"

4 ( +4 / -0 )

mr_jgb "What if it's one of your family members at the Brussels airport were just bombed and killed?"

Then I would not want to soil their memories by giving up the values that our family has held in high esteem. See I am not willing to give into the hysteria that Trump is selling. I know that my family and I are more at risk from gun violence by white Americans than they are at risk from terrorism. I know that it is guns on our streets that pose the real threat to our daily security and safety. So my attention is focused there. As I said before in this threat 32,000+ deaths by guns domestically in the US in 2011 and less than 1300 by terror from ISIS since 2014. Less than 2% annually. That is reality.

Cars pose a greater threat to my family. Bathroom tubs and sinks will kill more people this year than the global non-Syria and non-Iraq terror murders around the entire world.

Have some perspective!!!

Further. Become a police state in violation of international humanity conventions will paint an even bigger target on the backs of all Americans while empowering repression against our own people. How can any rational person think this is a good idea or a reasonable response to terror.

Trump is a circus clown and his followers are terrified uninformed sheep. Trump is pandering to their fears and prejudices to get what he wants. He does't give a damn about working people and has no track record at all for being pro-working class. How any working person can think this guy represents anything other than their bigotry and fear is beyond imagination.

Wake up man and see how duped you are.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Malcolm Nance, head of the Terrorism Asymmetrics Project and Navy intelligence veteran, clearly sees Trump (and, by extension, Cruz) as more of a problem than a solution, going so far as to suggest in an MSNBC interview that Trump is aiding ISIS propaganda.

Good God, they're probably cutting videos of this right now. Donald Trump right now is validating the cartoonish view that they tell their operatives…that America is a racist nation, xenophobic, anti-Muslim, and that that's why you must carry out terrorist attacks against them…It's irresponsible and it needs to stop.

Such attacks are tragedies but must be responded to calmly and effectively.Others in their passion simply throw fuel on the fire.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Ted Cruz has called for police to step-up patrols in muslim neighborhoods in the US. Why isn't he being called a racist?

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Wc626. Ted has many racist and bigoted ideas too. I don't think most of us have much more respect for Cruz than we do for Trump. It is just that Trump is the most imminent danger that needs to be eliminated.

In the end Cruz and his religious extremism may be just as dangerous to the future of our country.

We are on the brink of disaster. A GOP congress and either of these men in the White House could destroy our global standing for generations. Their regressive ideas and policies would harm working people and all minority groups in ways we cannot begin to measure yet.

There is only one thing that can be done. We have to defeat the GOP and send its remains spinning into dissolution and disarray. Allowing the GOP party to cave in upon itself may well be the first essential step towards breaking the two party hold on American democracy.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Dunno. Maybe you could have him cruz the San Fran sports bars with you next time. You could giggle and roll your eyes whenever you find a group of Chinese watching NFL. Could be the mayor for all you know.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Ignoring the moral issues for the moment, I haven't seen an actual functional case made that torture, if allowed, would actually produce useful intelligence to stop terror attacks. Not only has Trump failed to put forward any actual evidence to support his claims, there also seems to be a logical contradiction to his arguments. If the terrorists are so brutal, hardened and well trained as he says they are, then torture isn't likely going to induce them to betray their cause. They would either just take the torture or, if they couldn't bear it, feed their interrogators false information to make it stop. Either way torture itself wouldn't produce results (not to mention the numerous other factors working against it, like the fact that once one of their members is captured the terrorists would likely take safeguards like assuming the CIA knows everything the captured guy knows and alter plans accordingly, etc etc).

Seems like a pretty useless thing to be sacrificing any semblance of respect for laws that were designed specifically with preventing what the Nazis did in mind when they were created.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

I think people should sit down over tea and talk about the issues.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Trump has talked of taking out bad guys' families.

Even the Israelis are commenting on it:

"Any deliberate attacks aimed against civilians is a war crime, regardless if they are family members of terrorists or presidents or presidential candidates," said Boaz Ganor, a former consultant to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

I am certain you cannot begin to prove why the last 7 years have been dark beyond hatred for Obama.

Sure, it just depends on how much time you have.

The factual numbers on the economy, jobs and deficit all support that President Obama has done a great job.

Government jobs, yes, private sector jobs, high wage jobs, No. And a GDP hovering around 1% is nothing to smile about.

And done so despite the spiteful obstructionism practiced by the corrupt and inept GOP leaders in congress.

Why would they go along with a president that won't even respect them, the 3 branches of government and ideas from the opposition. Obama has always been, it's my way or the highway. Talk about obstructionism...

Where was your outrage as GWB trashed the economy and gave charity to the big banks during his reign in office?

You mean when "Chris Dodd and Barnie Frank" that oversaw the Housing committee and were the main reason to help the economy tank? By the way, both Dems and the GOP are in bed with the banks, so please don't make it a partisan issue.

It is sickening to see how much racism and bigotry have led a small but noisy segment of our country to condemn everything the president has done these past 7 years.

So then you must be angry at this president. The entire race issue went out of control once he took office. Obama has always made everything about race as well as Eric Holder and especially Al Sharpton. That product of that was the division that is still growing out of this guys racist presidency.

Especially since much of that improved the state of life for hard working people of all classes. It is delusional to persist in this perspective when the factual numbers so obviously disprove these notions that you have.

Actually, they do not. Especially for minorities.

http://247wallst.com/jobs/2016/03/06/black-unemployment-at-9-6/

Further, this affinity for Trump, a liar, a cheat and a poor businessman again underlines the fact that most of this hysteria for Trump and against Obama has roots in the old familiar evils of prejudice, hatred, bigotry and above all fear.

I think it's safe to say Trump has created more jobs, higher wage jobs than Obama in the private sector. He filed for bankruptcy, but Bush and Obama tanked the economy, so what's the difference? Liberals peddle that mess about race and that was not the case for most Americans it was Obama's disastrous policies that people hate and color has nothing to do with it.

So unless you have numbers to back up you insinuations, then give it a rest. We have heard this story before and it is not more true the 50 millionth time told by someone without a clue about factual reality than it was the first time.

I do all the time, but the sad thing is, most liberals don't want to deal with the reality. If Obama were that good Trump wouldn't be anywhere he is at now. But he's gaining and he's winning because people are sick and tired of this guy.

Again, I agree with Trump on this issue, I think you need to do everything in your power as president to keep the country and its citizens safe.

Look pal! Don't take it out on me because Belgium was blasted by radical islam. And that the politicians I support take a tougher stance on this issue compared to politician you support.

Yeah, but we didn't get hit after that. Russia didn't try to take Crimea, Bush would have never tolerated ISIS, he would have never left on ANY apology tour or met with dictators to score points for the history books and be PC.

Worse, beyond anyone's imagination,

And Obama compounded to that mess and made it unrepairable.

2 ( +7 / -5 )

while i don't condone torture, we are not fighting a conventional war here. the terrorists aren't signatories to the Geneven convention against torture, and they certainly are not harming only enemy combatants. in fact, they are waging guerilla warfare against western targets and against civilians. i don't want to torture them to get info, i want to torture them to show the other terrorists that we will fight an eye for an eye. as a great man once said:

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Putin was right all along. The US didn't listen and decided to invade Iraq exacerbating the situation.

The West suffers due to the liberal left's unwillingness to face our enemies. We must tackle the Muslim minorities in our societies who do not wish to integrate and who are causing endless trouble. If that entails force then so be it.

How do you suggest "tackling the Muslim minorities" in our societies? Do you think we can just ask the ones that don't want to integrate to raise their hands?

What happened to the strong field of GOP candidates you were talking about? You liked the evolution-denying surgeon who thinks the world is 6,000 years-old. Couldn't a man of his calibre have stopped Trump?

Is this all Obama's fault?

5 ( +5 / -0 )

What happened to the strong field of GOP candidates you were talking about?

Yeah - kinda funny thing, that. Those governors, for example - both Walker of Wisconsin and Christie of Jersey might consider retirement in another state. Neither Jindal of Louisiana nor Perry of Texas will ever hold elective office again. Bush of Florida didn't exactly bring down the family dynasty single-handedly (his brother helped), but he did set a record likely never to be surpassed on dollars spent per nomination vote gained. Kansas' Brownback isn't running and never will after he cratered his states in so many ways. And that's just the governors of the GOP "deep bench."

Well, there's always Kasich, the Archie Bunker of the GOP - he'll stay in to the end just 'cause everyone else pisses him off so much. He didn't pull any punches lambasting his fellow candidates for their knee-jerk idiocy and vapidness. He'll lose, of course, and retire when his Ohio governorship, bringing down a curtain on this string of illustrious GOP leadership.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

In return should they be treated with respect and dignity

Yes they should, because it isn't 'in return' and it isn't them, it's us doing the treating. And we aren't like them.

In the end, doesn't really matter who is doing the treating if that one is losing

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

What happened to the strong field of GOP candidates you were talking about?

Part of the establishment, nice guys, but seriously.....

You liked the evolution-denying surgeon who thinks the world is 6,000 years-old.

I still do, very much, his personal beliefs do not concern me, as long as he doesn't force me to adopt his personal religious ideology I could care less.

Couldn't a man of his calibre have stopped Trump?

You could say that about any candidate. Carson was too nice of a guy.

Is this all Obama's fault?

If Obama didn't put us in the mess we're in, we wouldn't have a Sanders or a Trump.

Seig heil.

Don't worry, Obama already runs the country like a gestappo camp.

Considering that the two regions comprise some 1.3 billion people, "thousands" is simply a rounding error. Around a billion kinda say cut that sh!t out.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

bass4funk, I'd be happier if it was only thousands saying this, unhappily its possibly hundreds of thousands, maybe even a few million not thinking it through and voicing their inner monologue.

At some point the conflict will have to end. As it is impossible for one side to destroy the other, the end will only come about by some form of dialogue. If both sides are torturing each other, how do you and other supporters of this policy see anything other than fanning the flames and increasing discontent?

Did Obama create Bernie Sanders supporters who were angry about this president not being socialist enough?

Very confusing.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

"You could say that about any candidate. Carson was too nice of a guy."

You coukd clearly say that about any candidate which further destroys the your idea of a strong field.

I thought Carson was a paranoid religious lunatic who claimed Obama may declare martial law and cancel the 2016 election but it turns out he was too nice a guy rather than a barking mad paranoid crackpot.

The Republican mind is a thing of wonder.

I listened Trump's speech after Hillary spoke shortly after tragedy. He explained how to interrogate anyone who is to be questioned.. When asked all suspects? he said anyone to be questioned are all suspect he will change law.

He did not say Moslem or white so if someone think he is safe because he is white, or trying to leak info to officials, he might be tortured.

At some point the conflict will have to end. As it is impossible for one side to destroy the other, the end will only come about by some form of dialogue.

I seriously doubt it, but if you have faith that the radical jihadists will come to their senses and realize, there is no way that they can just come and attempt to destroy the west, once they can wrap that around their heads, then maybe, just maybe we can have some dialogue.

If both sides are torturing each other, how do you and other supporters of this policy see anything other than fanning the flames and increasing discontent?

There is a difference between beheading someone or setting them on fire or outright killing them because they are Christian or because they are infidels or Apostates or because they don't believe in Sharia to waterboarding them out of the sole reason to obtain information and to stop a possible attack and or apprehend the attackers. Big difference.

Oh, so it wasn't a strong field then.

That's right.

Can I just ask how Obama, a socialist according to you, would create another socialist like Bernie Sanders/Josef Stalin?

Since Sanders is doing well with young folks and that a large majority of them come from spoiled liberal parents that spoiled them to death and gave them everything and now of age, they go to a University government funded where they have to pay through the nose and where the parents tell them, now you are on your own, essentially, the money well dried up, they're looking for another handout meaning: Free education and where can they get that from? Only from a Socialist that tries to promise them something will never, ever happen. If the Federal government wouldn't be in bed with the banks and the board of education, these kids wouldn't be paying through the nose and dreaming of some socialist bleak fantasy utopia.

I think I get your thinking about how this possible Muslim socialist president created angry people ( not lunatics now ) who support tough guy Christian(?) capitalist Donald Trump.

Well, that's good news to hear.

Did Obama create Bernie Sanders supporters who were angry about this president not being socialist enough?

He definitely created the climate for sure.

Very confusing.

Not at all, if people are willing to accept this nutty president for what he truly is.

The main fear is of being like Trump: a loudmouthed, arrogant, a-hole with no filter between his brain and his ever-flapping yap.

That millions of people love, at least the man loves his country, compared to the guy that wears a suit, talks and talks and talks and nothing ever gets done. Funny how the world has fallen apart since his presidency. 229 more days left until this guy is finally in the history books.

More likely a fear of being taken for an imbecile.

I really don't think Trump cares, nor do I think he should care or he should be PC like liberals, that's a huge reason why we are in this mess to begin with.

You have to give Trump's supporters credit, they're pretty fearless in that respect.

No, the people just have had it with the capitulation and the pep talk of this admin. talking down to people saying, we know what's best and believe us, we don't have to be afraid and on and on....BS. Again, there is a reason people are angry across the globe and there is a reason why the far right and nationalism is gaining and taking root all over Europe, who could blame them, not saying it's right or wrong, but if you look at the optics of this, liberals are on the short end of the stick.

Donald J. Trump, the greatest friend ISIS could hope for. Every recruit is shown a Oswald Cobbelpot Trump video and ISIS has their next recruit.

Sorry, Obama did that by not following up on the Pentagons recommendation to take action against a young and evolving ISIS at the time. The thing that you can say with certainty and without a doubt, Obama has been ISIS best friend for sure. Obama will not do anything drastic to combat radical Jihadism, he's every Jihadist dream of president, a president that believes in doing very little, heck, he won't even define or say the words, I wonder why.....

Trump's racists don't care that Trump is creating the attacks through his reckless and ignorant ravings.

No, quite the opposite. Obama's unwillingness to challenge or muster the strength of what's left of the US military to mobilize and engage the enemy by increasing our spying and intelligence community, putting more special ops on the ground, outright calling out and defining what and who the radical Islamists are. That's the underlying reason we are in this situation, that was reckless and ignorant!

All's they wany is a chance to shoot people when Trump tells them to, and that won't be president Trump. It will be Trump at the Republican National Convention as he has already demand his dummy puppets riot.

What does a Republican riot look like, never seen one.

Hate is all Trump has and ISIS breeds on Hate.

I think most of the hate comes from liberals and the establishment to be brutally honest. Trump is just direct and directness is what we need NOT worrying about being PC or subliminal micro aggressions that liberals think is running amok.

In Trump's incubator of Hate the cancer of racism thrives and the Republican Party could not care less.

This current admin. is responsible for creating this hateful vibe or racism and division.

War profiteers don't need a reason, robbing the US Treasury will be enough of a reward for the GOP/Tea, just like last time.

Thanks to Obama, there's no more money left to start a war. But liberals are happy about that, but they still don't have any answers to why they can't stop spending and how they are going to pay for this debt quagmire.

Can I just ask how Obama, a socialist according to you, would create another socialist like Bernie Sanders/Josef Stalin?

I wouldn't, it'll take you all night to read the reply. If you actually think it's worth the time that seems to have gone into it, that is.

Bass4funk, I have no faith that radical jihadis will come to their senses. But the evidence suggests the more you squeeze, the more people are radicalised. Trumps position is evidence of that. If ISIS are successful in setting up a state, isolation is unsustainable. If they fail, as now seems more likely, they will go underground. Continue with the tit for tat killings, bombing and torture and the conflict will be unending. The answer to radical Islam is to demonstrate its failure to win, not just by fighting and resisting them, but to show them there is a better way forward than constant grinding conflict. I'll grant you it's difficult, especially when dealing with religious indoctrination. But it will only come with education and opportunity which is a very long term project indeed. I'd wager Trump doesn't have that kind of planning in him. Or the attention span for that matter.

So true. Kill one, create three.
