It will get uglier. Here in Canada, those of us who have American friends are truly worried. The whole world should be.

Political distraction from the Corona debacle; More than 1000 died from it yeaterday in MAGAland, and the leader is sending in brownshirts to rough up the opposition. What a clown.

14 ( +18 / -4 )

when all else fails, crypto-fascists always reach for the "law and order" card....

13 ( +20 / -7 )

expanding the administration’s intervention in local enforcement as he runs for reelection under a “law-and-order” mantle.

Aping a banana republic dictator whose motto is 'for my friends (see Roger Stone) everything, for my enemies the law'.

12 ( +18 / -6 )

Protests for change and progress generally happen during the day. They don&t happen at midnight

This is going to blow your mind, but people can protest against injustice outside of the 9-5.

The picture above shows Trump's boss Barr, one of the brains behind the Trump coup. Barr's the male whose job has been to find ways to further undermine the republic so an authoritarian can lead and have greater powers than the legislative and judicial branches, making it easier for Trump and Barr's fellow 'elites' and their global corporations to have even greater control over who runs their system of national socialism and how the system is run. Their motto: Corporatocracy Now!

trump is just copying Mr China, and Mr Kim.

Works for them, but will "Rebound" & hurt trump.

James Madison wrote:

"Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few. In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended; its influence in dealing out offices, honors, and emoluments is multiplied; and all the means of seducing the minds, are added to those of subduing the force, of the people. The same malignant aspect in republicanism may be traced in the inequality of fortunes, and the opportunities of fraud, growing out of a state of war, and in the degeneracy of manners and of morals engendered by both. No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.."

It's a lesson the US seems to have forgotten.

"His personality is unique and is a very interesting man."

Nothing unique at all about Donald Trump. He's a classic American con man. They are everywhere is practically every industry. He's a grander version of the circus barker or the person pedaling $3000 vacuum cleaners door to door, trying to convince you with a rigged demonstration that you absolutely have to buy this thing they are selling even though you are perfectly happy with what you have now. Any lie to close the deal and boy can they tell lies. They lie so much and so often they can't remember what is true and what is something they made up on the spur of the moment to close a deal. They make the customer feel special while picking their pocket. Nothing new here. People like him have been around since the first Europeans walked the continent. In the US there is an old saying "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me". We'll see what happens in November.

I understand that the feds have a right to protect federal property but they do not have a right to stray from the federal property and attack peaceful protesters away from their property.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

He is eloquent.

Very very far from being eloquent!

9 ( +13 / -4 )

Deliberately provocative act by a desperate president. Fox News and the usual suspects will be glad to play along with this new narrative. His lapdogs in Congress will also follow obediently, despite supposedly being the party of "state's rights".

9 ( +15 / -6 )

Chicago Mayor Lightfoot: “I’ve been very clear that we welcome actual partnership,” the Democratic mayor said Tuesday after speaking with federal officials. “But we do not welcome dictatorship. We do not welcome authoritarianism, and we do not welcome unconstitutional arrest and detainment of our residents. That is something I will not tolerate.”

If she sees that the feds are not cooperating, I hope that she will have her police forcibly kick them out.

9 ( +12 / -3 )

Trump is deploying federal troops in order to gin up violence that he thinks will help his reelection.

Am I missing anything important here?

9 ( +14 / -5 )

"America is for the strong and the weak is not welcome. I do not support the protesters." The protesters are braver than half of the cops the encounter and certainly braver than anyone sitting safely at home criticizing them on the internet. The US was founded on rebellion. The great advances in human rights have all required disruptive demonstrations, rebellion and some violence. It's as natural as breathing. Thomas Jefferson acknowledged as much when he wrote to his friend James Madison:

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical.1 Unsuccesful rebellions indeed generally establish the incroachments on the rights of the people which have produced them. An observation of this truth should render honest republican governors so mild in their punishment of rebellions, as not to discourage them too much. It is a medecine necessary for the sound health of government."

8 ( +14 / -6 )

@Burning Bush, no you got it wrong. Distrust of Trump, his ACTING DHS secretary Wolf, and Roy Cohn wannabe AG Barr. No badge, no name, and unmarked cars are not legitimate law enforcement authority, their only authority is brute force violence. Besides, they're untrained, they couldn't even bring down that Navy Vet even while whacking away at him. Disgusting.

8 ( +14 / -6 )

Madison also wrote:

" A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty. The means of defence against foreign danger have been always the instruments of tyranny at home. Among the Romans it was a standing maxim to excite a war, whenever a revolt was apprehended. Throughout all Europe, the armies kept up under the pretext of defending, have enslaved the people."

8 ( +14 / -6 )

I'm liberal, and I've got no problem with Fed help with State's problems - provided:

it is requested

it is under command of the governor

it obeys local laws
8 ( +10 / -2 )

Mr President, over 140K Americans have died in just five months - more deaths than all the wars the US has been involved in since 1945 - Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storms, and the Iraq War....

The virus, which you have said was "contained" and was "just one person from China, is surging across the US, with hospitals have to turn away critically ill patients, who are left to die alone...

Your medical experts predict that the number of US deaths will increase to 200K by Oct...

Yet you do nothing about this...because you know you have failed...

Sending untrained federal forces into our cities when both local and state elected officials have specifically said they do not want them, merely as a diversion from this failure, is a trick out of the Putin or Xi playbook.

Americans don't want a dictator - so have your illegal immigrant maid start packing your bags - you'll be leaving n Nov 3rd...

8 ( +11 / -3 )

America did not know Trump in 2016. We all know him now. He will be gone in Nov.

Precisely. It seemed like a fun little experiment at the time and has had its entertainment at times but nobody expected him to be so wholly incompetent.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Poor people get military police throwing them into vans. Rich people get pardons.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Most Republican do not know the difference between moderate and progressive Democrats. Biden is a moderate Democrat.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Trump speaks and appeals to people using easy words.

Well, I have to agree with you there. Not that he has any choice in the matter mind you.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

That may not be his actual reason at all. He may be placing these agents around the country to maintain order if and when he declares the November election null and void.

And don't say it won't happen. Look we already have people right here believing his lies, or claiming to, that he needs to do something about violence in cities and states that are saying they neither want nor need federal agents. So yeah, these same people are going to say that the elections are invalid if Trump does.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

had the highest rate TV show for 14 years

Har! I wonder where was your source for that little titbit.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Ah, America. Land of the free :)

5 ( +5 / -0 )

They can deploy the 82nd Airborne to Chicago it they want to, but it still won't make a dent on the violent crime rate there

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Hear Hear Lincolnman...

5 ( +6 / -1 )

That may not be his actual reason at all. He may be placing these agents around the country to maintain order if and when he declares the November election null and void.

And don't say it won't happen. Look we already have people right here believing his lies, or claiming to, that he needs to do something about violence in cities and states that are saying they neither want nor need federal agents. So yeah, these same people are going to say that the elections are invalid if Trump does.

As cynical as I was and am about Trump, three years ago, I would have said that wasn't possible....

Now, I'm not so sure. I can envision Trump after his defeat in Nov claiming that all the mail-in votes were fake, or the voting machines were hacked, or some other nutty conspiracy theory that Biden and China stole the election. Maybe he'll produce some "recovered" papers from the China's Houston consulate to "prove" it. So he refuses to step down, and has these federal forces in place in largely Democratic areas where he anticipates the most blowback...

It's a nightmare scenario that could have been scripted by Rod Serling - but it looks ever more possible...

And the far-right, gun-toting, Trump supporters, who for years have raged and ranted about government "Deep State" law enforcement agents rappelling down from black helicopters to invade their homes and steal their guns, will be standing right beside them...

Putin couldn't be happier...

5 ( +7 / -2 )

State and local democrats are conspiring to sacrifice the peace and prosperity of their cities/states in order to make the President look bad.

Lala land

These people wouldnt be poor if they would get a job instead of roaming the streets at 2am setting fires and attacking police. No one who works is out at that time of night doing nonsense.

Lala land 2

5 ( +6 / -1 )

 Just get a job indeed!

The 'think plastics' of the Trump era is 'think jobs in security'. Who knows who all's employed in these federal forces, where they came from, which budget they're being paid from.

How long until Trump/McConnell/barr etal privatize federal security, create domestic mercenary forces, get one of their fellow ultra-rightists like Eric Prince to get a Blackwater-type force to attack American citizens - in addition to attacking citizens of one of the countries the US has invaded.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Vote in November!

5 ( +5 / -0 )

The Fed police who did not listen to the Navy vet cannot chew bubblegum and walk at the same time.

Which makes me wonder whether they have had any proper police training and aren't just thugs the feds have hired and given 'stinkin' badges'.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

this is why I doubt Biden will win, he’s already so frail

Oooh lining up your ducks already? Now it’s “doubt”.

Biden will be fine, he’ll be walking down ramps and everything.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

They have no legitimate authority, if federal law and property is not involve, when Biden become President, he should prosecute all people, who follow Trump order, and Trump himself

4 ( +10 / -6 )

Today’s new word “progressives”

It’s getting difficult to keep up with all these terms. How do you manage it?

4 ( +6 / -2 )

America did not know Trump in 2016. We all know him now. He will be gone in Nov.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Precisely. It seemed like a fun little experiment at the time and has had its entertainment at times but nobody expected him to be so wholly incompetent.

I did. I was very clear about how much a failure would be, and hindsight only shows I knew what I was talking about.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

We Heard that in 2016 as well, too many times.

From you even.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

I hope he doesn't accept the election results in November. I'd give anything to see him being dragged out of the WH by troops in January.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

anything to distract from violent crime and murder in Dem run cities, huh?

Or perhaps distract from the 135.000 virus deaths and the 3million plus sickened by it while Trump, McConnell etal shrug shoulders and say it's only poor people, especially people of color, not us rich Republicans affected.

And distract from an economy as weak as it's been since the depression days of the 1930's, with no indications it can ever recover the stability it had during President Obama's terms.

And focus attention on ways Trump's pushing white nationalism hoping to keep that part of his base willing to vote for him. Again.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

History repeating

"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

America should be concerned that they get what they wish for.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

OK Trump supporters, explain that one to us...

anything to distract from violent crime and murder in Dem run cities, huh?

Clean miss and a strike....

Trump's definition of Law and Order...

Abusing the Law in Order to pardon and commute convicted and indicted felons...

Commuted the sentence of a Russian colluder - Roger Stone...

Wishes an indicted child sex trafficker "well" - Ghislaine Maxwell

Some Law and Order...

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Blacklabel you calling the Navy vet an instigator reminds me of the time the man in his 70's got shoved to the sidewalk. The policeman who did that just walked away and the police behind him did the same. Serve and protect? No. The Fed police who did not listen to the Navy vet cannot chew bubblegum and walk at the same time. They see anyone in their path as being criminals. That was evident by their attacking the vet. They should be wearing brown shirts because they are acting exactly like Hitler's Brown Shirts. You and your backers are aiding these so-called police. You are therefore share the responsibility for their foul deeds.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Chad Wolf is the 4th Acting Sec of Homeland Security... means? There hasn't been a Senate approved Sec since Gen Kelly.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Wanna think about that one a little? This person recruited underage girls who were then sexually abused by Epstein.

So, what do you think of your President wishing this person "well"?

I wouldnt know or care, as this article is about crime and violence in Dem run cities.

Oh...OK - you don't care that your "Law and Order" President wished an indicted criminal "well" - one that recruited underage girls for a pedophile....who was his neighbor....who he hosted parties with...

Glad to see you're OK with that - it speaks volumes....

4 ( +5 / -1 )

The Republicans who are backing and supporting Trump's 'Rule of Law' fight against peaceful protesters are like the Loyalists who backed the king during the Revolutionary War.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

NCIS Reruns: American Republicans are easily distracted... Not the majority of Americans, who are not easily distracted from the truth.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

@Blacklabel, which is a great beer... but, poor people should get a job instead of roaming the streets? First of all Trump has made a lot of people poorer by not setting out and following a scientifically approved guideline to restart the economy. He has put a lot of folks out of work and the unemployment's soaring is mostly because of his ineptitude and stupidity. Food banks are having trouble keeping up with the new poor. Trump and his henchmen are busy trying to stop government aid for unemployment and rental freeze. Just get a job indeed!

3 ( +4 / -1 )

@PTownsend that is very scary. The right loves the military but doesn't usually don a uniform. They love the all volunteer military. They've gone out of their way to protect Eric Prince.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Fact is that you don't know the disposition of employed and unemployed demonstrators there are. The employed can protest when they are not working. How many work at 2 a.m. in the morning? And, of course, the majority of protesters are law abiding.

The Navy veteran who tried to talk with the Fed 'police?' the other night was beaten by them and suffered a broken bone just for trying to speak to them. I guess you might have missed that on Fox.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Once trump is just a failed businessman again they’ll have street parties, probably at 2am. For several weeks.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

and once he wins, you will be up all night crying. again.

Are you saying I cried when trump won? What an imagination you have.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Came back, wrote a best selling book, had the highest rate TV show for 14 years and became President, I love that kind of failure.

Clearly.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Still waiting for a Trump supporter to tell us how "Law and Order" equates to "wishing someone well" who is indicted and in jail for "sex trafficking in minors"...

Wanna think about that one a little? This person recruited underage girls who were then sexually abused by Epstein.

So, what do you think of your President wishing this person "well"?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

There have been almost zero changes to counter police brutality so far. BLM and its supporters have a long road ahead of them.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

If you continue to support police brutality and say nothing when police or Fed make believe police shove old men to the sidewalk, shove women to the street curb, attack a Navy vet just for talking with them (the list goes on and on), then you most certainly own part of the responsibility for their continued brutality.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Trump deploys federal agents to more states under 'law-and-order' push

It's doubtful Trump's federal troops will be able to do much more than temporarily slow the BLM and anti-fascist movements before the election. Many Americans fully back the BLM cause and are anti-fascist; they want changes.

If Trump's troops can do little more than slow the movement down between now and November, look for little Stephen Miller, Barr and others in Trump's DC swamp to do something really dramatic to try to sway undecided voters. Maybe a false flag operation, something like the 1999 Russian apartment bombings.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Wolfpack, that spew is exactly the type of Trump made up embellishment lies that the Republicans love. Sorry, Democrats and the majority of Americans see right through his lies.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

Politics.

0 ( +6 / -6 )

We need to ask, "Why is this happening now?" And the answer is obviously that it's an election stratagem. Trump's handlers know that Americans are easily distracted by whatever is at the top of the 24-hour news cycle. And as dumb and goofy as Trump may seem to those with a modicum of intelligence, he's remarkably cunning and has a real knack for distracting the public from more urgent issues.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

actually the undated video (200x?) showed him nearly running UP a ramp.

I didnt know ramp walking was a criteria for President.

Biden will be fine, he’ll be walking down ramps and everything.

You mean he is actually coming out of the basement someday? Maybe thats why he cant come out, he cant climb back up the stairs.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

I said no such thing. I basically said go find the article about that topic and post your musings there, not here.

Glad to see you're OK with that - it speaks volumes....

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Trump is deploying federal troops in order to gin up violence that he thinks will help his reelection.

Am I missing anything important here?

Why, yes you are: reality.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

NCIS is right, this is an election strategy... by the Democrats. State and local democrats are conspiring to sacrifice the peace and prosperity of their cities/states in order to make the President look bad.

IF they cared about those who live in their constituencies, they would welcome the help of federal law enforcement. I mean, that is all we hear about the coronavirus response, isn't it? "Where is the federal government?" Funny how cities that cannot control their own streets or protect their citizens from violent thugs don't make the same call...

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Or perhaps distract from the 135.000 virus deaths and the 3million plus sickened by it while Trump, McConnell etal shrug shoulders and say it's only poor people, especially people of color, not us rich Republicans affected.

So what specifically have the Dems done about this? What about Cuomo and how could he allow so many people die in these nursing homes, on top of the police defunding that DeBlasio wants to do, so yes, let’s talk about distractions, shall we?

And distract from an economy as weak as it's been since the depression days of the 1930's, with no indications it can ever recover the stability it had during President Obama's terms.

So Democrats don’t want people to go to work and go to school, so how (lol) do they imagine to provide jobs when people have zero money to begin with? I’m telling you now, handling out stimulus packages will come to an end and then what? This is the par where liberal logic is sadly devoid.

And focus attention on ways Trump's pushing white nationalism hoping to keep that part of his base willing to vote for him. Again.

Who a large portion were Obama voters.....interesting.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

and here comes Hitler......thats pathetic.

and no, I dont share any responsibility for any of this, obviously.

They should be wearing brown shirts because they are acting exactly like Hitler's Brown Shirts. You and your backers are aiding these so-called police. You are therefore share the responsibility for their foul deeds.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Trump's new campaign manager is very worried

No, the last two interviews he never said that, he seemed concerned which is normal, but more than optimistic and that’s where you want to be, both sides should, at least Trump blocked illegals from their votes being counted, that’s a great thing.

The majority of American s think Trump has failed in dealing with the pandemic.

But overwhelming still trust him over Biden when it comes to the economy

Biden will be fine, he’ll be walking down ramps and everything

Without Jill? Hmmmm.....

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

I wouldnt know or care, as this article is about crime and violence in Dem run cities.

The mayor of Portland is trying to speak to the protesters now and they are about to attack him and are trying to chant overtop of his speech. They cant even realize he is 100% on their side. One of their demands is that he resign, yet he is still trying to be "woke" and placate them. quite hilarious.

So, what do you think of your President wishing this person "well"?

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

are you now following Trump's request to wear a mask?

Nope.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

the Navy veteran wont be doing that again, he says. at least his wife and daughter seem to have common sense that he doesnt have.

He’s not going back out to protest.

“My ex-wife and my daughter would kill me if I did that. They’re so angry at me for doing it in the first place because I got beat up,” he said. “I’m not a redwood tree. I’m an overweight, 53-year-old man.”

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Trump deploys federal agents to more states under 'law-and-order' push

This is a good thing that should be applauded. What's up with all the negative comments? Jeez...

The US was founded on rebellion. The great advances in human rights have all required disruptive demonstrations, rebellion and some violence. It's as natural as breathing.

Sorry, Desert, but the rebellion against Britain's colonial rule in the 1700s is not an excuse for the violent mayhem being perpetrated on our streets by thugs in 2020.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

there are no jobs to be found in the streets at 2am. fact.

There are many fewer jobs available to people who have criminal convictions for arson and assault. fact.

Can we come back to reality for a minute?

Just get a job indeed!

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

the Democrats are encouraging these people to ruin their lives just because they know they cant beat Trump in an election. Everyone knows this isnt a "protest" whatsoever. Its being encouraged to make Trump look bad, thinking he wouldnt do anything about it. But now that he is, its just making Trump look strong and making Dems look silly.

Once Trump is reelected, what happens to all these "peaceful protesters" who have been deceived into thinking that violently attacking law enforcement is right and just? Antifa doesnt offer group health insurance or unemployment benefits.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

yeah lets just walk up to federal law enforcement in the middle of a violent riot for a casual chat. because thats the perfect time and place for that. That guy is an instigator and knew exactly what he was doing.

The Navy veteran who tried to talk with the Fed 'police?' the other night was beaten by them and suffered a broken bone just for trying to speak to them. I guess you might have missed that on Fox.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

So by now everyone in the world has got the message B L M and they have held the worlds attention while they got there message across, everyone knows it and everyone wants to change it and make things better , everyone has taken notice, and the message is clear.

These people have a chance to change the leader they do not like in a few months time and they should if they are unhappy with him.

Being a vandal for the sake of it is meaningless, the message they wanted to send is being lost now and many people understand it was a front for other things, wanton destruction, theft, killings, lawlessness and what ever else they want.

The message has been given and received, why do they continue to wreck their cities, their neighborhoods, their neighbors place of employment , business etc ?

Why do they continue to wreck their message ?

You know why ?

Really you do ?

The message from these people is not B L M any longer , it is some other message now quite clearly !!

The people left rioting ( or peacefully protesting ) are a minority now . The majority are elsewhere.

The rest of America are not out peacefully protesting any more, they will have their peaceful protest at the next election in a few months.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Once trump is just a failed businessman again they’ll have street parties, probably at 2am. For several weeks.

Came back, wrote a best selling book, had the highest rate TV show for 14 years and became President, I love that kind of failure.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Six months ago I would have said Trump winning the elections was a sure bet. But not any more. Even he and his new campaign manager are worried.

I wouldn’t say worried, but concerned and vigilant, but given the fact that the Dems allowed this unrest to go on for the last 8 weeks, helps Trump a lot.

Trump looks tires and dragging his heels.

Because the man is up juggling everything, the Presidency ages you, this is why I doubt Biden will win, he’s already so frail

Rounded shoulders. Bored with Covid-19. Not enough to boast about.

What?? Rounded..bored...oh, here we go....

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

I love how the protests are called "mostly peaceful". What a moronic term. Can I call my marriage "mostly peaceful" if I only beat up my wife once or twice a year? Come on.

The amount of damage done by these "peaceful" folks is truly shocking. A thousand buildings damaged and destroyed in Minneapolis. Tens of millions of dollars in damage in Portland. Family run businesses ransacked and burned by scumbag idiots capitalizing on the moment.

if the mayors of these cities won't let their own police handle the situation, the president has little choice.

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

It's doubtful Trump's federal troops will be able to do much more than temporarily slow the BLM and anti-fascist movements before the election.

They’re not trying to stop them, they’re trying to stop the radical groups, some which are in these organizations to thwart them from furthering damage and carnage to the country . Democrat leaders, where are you? Hello?

Many Americans fully back the BLM cause and are anti-fascist; they want changes.

Yes, as long as it’s done peacefully and looking at all these liberal cities, it’s anything but peaceful.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Yes, and you have many other articles here daily to repeat your narratives on these issues. Nothing at all to do with the crime surges in Dem run cities. Do you support the lack of response by local Dem government in these cities? its not really a big deal that people are shot and murdered every day?

This is the right thing to do from the federal government and a winning campaign message.

Again.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

federal law enforcement arent military. These people wouldnt be poor if they would get a job instead of roaming the streets at 2am setting fires and attacking police. No one who works is out at that time of night doing nonsense.

If its a protest, where are the signs? what is the message? its straight up violent rioting, no question.

Kinda hard to make money when you have arrests for "assault on a police officer" and "arson" in your background check.

Poor people get military police throwing them into vans

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

and once he wins, you will be up all night crying. again.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

anything to distract from violent crime and murder in Dem run cities, huh?

OK Trump supporters, explain that one to us...

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Sorry, Democrats and the majority of Americans see right through his lies.

So do the entire law enforcement Agencies see the lies of the Democrats. Biden definitely won’t get their votes and they voted for Obama twice last time around. Not this time.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Protests for change and progress generally happen during the day. They don&t happen at midnight, inside a looted Starbucks or 7-eleven. There is an obvious difference between the people who are honest in their desire to improve the country, and those who are taking advantage of the situation.

Legitimate protests also generally dont include damaging property, defacing public buildings, or physically attacking those who disagree with the protesters.

Citizens have a right to feel safe in their own cities and homes. The president is merely ensuring that right.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

you'll be leaving n Nov 3rd...

We Heard that in 2016 as well, too many times.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

@bass4funk - you are wrong. Without Trump it will all be sunny days, rainbows, fluffy clouds and unicorns. Just like it was under Obama.

Trump's Republican are fascists beholden to the Russian 'Supreme Ruler until 2036'.

How if they’re trying to stop the violence??? It’s very simple, either you allow it or you stop it. There is No gray area. The Democrat leadership has NOT done a single thing to stop this, not one. These leaders could stop all of this cold, but they don’t. But stopping it is considered fascism? Huh?

-11 ( +3 / -14 )

Precisely. It seemed like a fun little experiment at the time and has had its entertainment at times but nobody expected him to be so wholly incompetent.

Judging by how inept the Democrat leadership has been as well as incognito, not only is it not funny, but these people have shown they have zero idea how to effectively run their States except into the ground. But they want the Federal government to pay for the carnage and mess the fascists and anarchists left behind.....uh-huh....

Democrats have made crime a partisan issue. They want the rioting and property damage. They want the shootings and chaos. Dems are attacking the police with projectiles as they try to prevent rioting and property destruction. Progressive cities like Portland and Chicago are still experiencing nightly riots and elevated incidences of gun violence. These mayors have essentially defunded the police by having them stand down in the face of organized violence.

The innocent people and businesses caught in this anarchy are forgotten by the Progressives. Do they want to turn cities into hell homes? Seems that’s the goal.

Trump speaks and appeals to people using easy words. He is a realist - businesslike. Democrats talk idealism and dreams like Obama and their purposes far reaching and results half done.

-13 ( +3 / -16 )

@Bass: They want to defund the police, don’t protect the citizens, but these people have their own private security and wouldn’t be without it, if you want to protect your home, you have your firearms confiscated from you. This is just insane.

You are correct Bass. Progressives no longer care to pretend to look after the people who elected them to offices of responsibility. Standing down the police at a time of social unrest is insanity. I don’t know what benefit they hope to achieve by allowing crime run rampant. Their failures to run their own justice systems justly does not in any way incriminate Trump. Their rejection and resistance only implicates themselves all the more.

As I said, these leaders in these States could easily stop this themselves without Trump intervening if they crushed this anarchy mob rule themselves instead of allowing it to fester. The “murder rate” in Chicago alone is up 52% it went from 275 in 2019 up to 414 In 2020. “Shootings“ went up 47% it went from 1110 in 2019 up to 1637 in 2020.

But these people remain silent or blame Trump, it’s easier to deflect attention than to give answers, work with this President and to give him a win.

President Trump. If they don't want federal agents then don't send them. If they want to disband their law enforcement then let them. Their cities will burn and the America hating left will once again be proven wrong.

The picture above shows Trump's boss Barr, one of the brains behind the Trump coup.

Thankfully!

Barr's the male whose job has been to find ways to further undermine the republic so an authoritarian can lead and have greater powers than the legislative and judicial branches,

You mean, one of the smartest men to be AG is punting the anarchists from furthering dismantling and destroying the city? How dare he!

making it easier for Trump and Barr's fellow 'elites' and their global corporations to have even greater control over who runs their system of national socialism and how the system is run. Their motto: Corporatocracy Now!

National socialism? Democrats want total income redistribution, want regulations, want to end tax cuts for the job providers (yeah, that’s smart) wants to raise the corporate tax (even smarter) and believe that spreading the wealth will bring prosperity. Yeah, they could care less if these job providers move somewhere else and who losses? Americans.

NYC, Portland, Chicago and Seattle are absolute disasters and the leaders have completely stopped enforcing the laws, police are told to step down, now people are being shot even in the daytime with impunity. Violence is at an all time high and yet, Democrats are unresponsive and silent in the issue. So many children died this month and complete silence, but for some reason it’s Trump’s fault? They want to defund the police, don’t protect the citizens, but these people have their own private security and wouldn’t be without it, if you want to protect your home, you have your firearms confiscated from you. This is just insane. But Trump taking control of these cities where the governors and mayors is in some fashion his fault? If these leaders don’t want civil service agents to patrol their cities become proactive and allow local law enforcement do their jobs!

THIS IS WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thank God that our fine President Trump is taking this much needed step to stop the anarchist and socialist organized violence and destruction of historic statues, burning of buildings including a large down town Post Office and much other damage, graffitti and attacks on Police with frozen water bottles, bricks and other missles causing much harm. It has been a terrible time of disrespect and chaos. It is much much overdue. I am very glad we have a brave and caring Presdient who cares for the country. This article is very critical and really is a political statement with a clear point of view rather than a news article and should be labelled clearly as an Op Ed.

I hope that the admins here will not delete this post. In the past my posts have been removed over and over for being critical, of US figures and actions of the radical left. That is the right given by free speech and the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and just like the author of this article and many posters here critical of President Trump who all have the right to say what they think so do I. I will hope that my sharing my thoughts will be allowed but i see many cases of people and their thoughts being censored by the liberal media over and over and that is not good. Trump is right to use Federal Agents to protect Federal Property and to support law and order which protects us all, Black and White rich and poor together. I will hope for peace to return.

Lol, You have got to be kidding me!
