He said there "has been a lot of misinformation," but gave no specifics.

And he is the source of most of it - mostly disinformation ....

Trump snapped back: "We're not changing any stories.

Until he decides to change stories. Trump knows his base will believe the latest story he tells and will quickly forget the versions he’d previously told.

Then he and his base will blame the media, libs/dems/leftists/socialists/globalists for having reported the previous stories.

This quote made by Trump to his fellow plutocrat Billy Bush sums up Trump’s dishonesty:

'Billy, look, you just tell them and they believe it. That's it: you just tell them and they believe. They just do."

Yet some analysts say the payment, made in the heat of the election, could nevertheless have violated laws because it sought to influence the outcome of the vote by keeping Stormy Daniels silent.

Not "could have.' Did. Trump and Cohen broke campaign finance law by trying to hide the $130,000 hush money paid to Stormy Daniels. Michael Avenetti has the history of communications between Cohen and Daniels previous attorney clearly showing the timing was anything but incidental. IOW, it was about the election. Jeez,Giuliani just said so too.

But it don't stop there.

Cohen and Trump broke the law when trying to hide the transfer on multiple occasions.

These are much more seriously in terms of possible penalties. These are a BFD. These are anti-mob-money laundering laws that you go to jail for a long time for breaking.

Finally, Cohen is toast. B/c he broke STATE laws as well as federal laws. And Trump has no power to pardon state laws. And which state laws did Cohen (and Trump) violate? NY and CA!

Ha! Suck on that, Republicans. States' right indeed, operating as they should.

But none of this matters to them. State's rights, laws, elections, the truth. Simple decency. Nothing matters to them other than power.

Their nothing to see here translates to "Nothing to to hear, see!" 'Cause I ain't listening. And besides Clinton! Bengazziii!!!!! EMAAAIIIILLSSSS! LEWINSKY!!!!!!!!!

Oh, before I forget: guess who Trump just hired? Bill Clinton's impeachment lawer Emmet Flood.

No honor. No shame.

So didn’t the last guy get found guilty of this and have to pay a huge fine?

But now questions have been raised over whether the payment violated election laws.

I’m so confused, so what do you liberals want? How did he break the law if no money from the campaign was used to pay off.....this woman? What do you want happen? So with the threat of China looming and the historic talks coming up between Kim and Trump, the left makes a porn star top news and a priority? Wait a minute, seriously? I know I drank a bottle of Patron last night, I guess I’m still a little out of it.

Does Mueller get to interview Trump about the incident like Starr did with Bill Clinton? And can we impeach him if it’s proven he lied about sleeping with her to Mueller?

6 ( +6 / -0 )

If you guys think Trump lies a lot, you guys must hate every politician in Washington, combined their lies would circle the world 50 times.

Trump’s not perfect we know that, but for anyone on the left of right to call the man a liar probably have more bones in their closets than can hold them. None of these idiots can say a darn thing.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Nope because Clinton did it while President AND in the White House AND he was in a position of power over that employee. That’s quite different.

Stormy tweeted she isn’t paying her lawyer. When is the raid to get the documents to show who IS paying him?

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Trump and his swamp dwellers are the biggest liars of them all. They all need to go. Make American Honest Again. Calling Trump a 'leader' is pathetic.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Everyone thinks Trump lies a lot. Even his fans do.

Why do you think they are they so consistent on calling Comey a liar multiple times a day? It’s because they get to point the finger at someone else. And hey, if everyone is a liar, then Trump comes out with a tie, right?

And the bones in my closet don’t involve cheating on my wife with a porn star after our son is born and paying her $130,000 to keep quiet then lying about it when everyone knows I’m lying.

How about you?

If you guys think Trump lies a lot, you guys must hate every politician in Washington, combined their lies would circle the world 50 times.

And Trump's would circle the world 100!

Trump and his team are going to the mattresses. They know they have no snowball's chance in hell of confronting Mueller legally but are betting his office won't indict and instead pass off the report to congress, which will make it more of a political problem rather than legal - so he's going to the court of public opinion.

What Trump doesn't seem to realize is that ancillary issues such as the Daniels case are simply sideshows (though still with legal consequences). When the main report is delivered (and it will be soon), any GOPer standing beside him now will look like a fool.

And the overflowing river of BS out of Trump's mouth continues with Mueller swimming smack dab in the middle of it. I hope Mueller doesn't drown in it.

Actually, they do have a few recourses. If Trump paid this porn star personally, if would be an admission of guilt, he didn’t, therefore Trump’s team can argue that there’s one again nothing, no crime was committed.

Uh-huh...well, it seems like Mueller got slammed for the lying piece of work that he is. Judge Ellis finally schooled Mueller and called him out for his dirty tactics and for what his real goal and motives are. More to come.

Laguna,

At this point, we have a lot of smoke on the Trump campaign, smoke which if caused by the fire we suspect, would be very bad news for people very close to Trump, but not Trump himself. Granted, who knows really what Mueller and the FBI got on Trump. But that is what we know for sure.

However, at this point, the Daniels side show is enough to put Cohen away for a long time. That is significant because it will make him flip on Trump.

And Cohen knows a lot about Trump's 'business' for the past decade.

With the way Trump and his team are now turning the tactics on this witch hunt, the President has one thing on his side and that’s the Constitution and that will override everything else, add to that Giuliani as one of the toughest prosecutors out there with Flood who was Clinton’s impeachment lawyer, they know every single pitfall and trick this guy will try to do.

And Cohen knows a lot about Trump's 'business' for the past decade.

Problem is, if he doesn’t talk or is forced to contrive a story for Mueller, he won’t have anything except a few more gray hair in his head.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

And just to jog what remains of your memory, this is in the news because of some surprising statements voluntarily made by Giuliani in a chummy interview on Fox and Friends. He was practically sitting in Hannity's lap.

He was in his lap?

Trump is evidently eager to disown at least some of what Giuliani said.

Ok, doesn’t make it a crime, so what?

When a lawyer for the president cocks up so spectacularly, and when the president can't get his story straight, it's news. Not a leftwing conspiracy.

Never said it was, but once again, it’s not a crime. Now if Trump paid the woman personally with campaign funds, that completely changes everything.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

The USM dumpster fire in the vain hopes of lowering President Trump's popularity with those who voted for him to the point where the 25th A can be used to oust him from office rages on. . . . .

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

You are the one who claimed Giuliani was the great saver for Trump but instead trying to put the fires out threw oil on them which can't be undone

He is, Cochran made mistakes, OJ in prison? But all jokes aside, this is nothing. Mueller and this porn star thing or the Russian thing or the obstruction charge aren’t going to do anything to this President, other than he dies, resigns or if the Senate turns Blue.(good luck with that.)

Since taking office Trump has lied more than 3,000 time. Average rate per day about 6 not counting the ones he tells FLOTUS over the sex with porn star.

Yeah, ok, not anything different from any other politician, just a bit mo colorful.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

White House staff are said to be confused and don't know what Trump and Giuliani will do next.

They just can’t get their heads around the 4D chess.

How do you deny answering "no" onboard Air Force One when everyone in America has seen the video??? Get a grip!

6 ( +6 / -0 )

By, "get his facts straight," you do mean "get up to speed on the latest of the lies we are telling, to get the story straight."

The truth has no role in this administration.

If a democracy falls in the forest and Republicans don't care does it make a sound?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Rudy just started? I am not sure if Rudy even "just started" watching porn...

Getting in bed with that legal team might not only get a lawyer in federal RICO trouble. NY also has their own, and too much of this happened in NYC.
