Hardly anyone will change their mind after these debates. People are standing in political cement.

I'll give Trump credit. He was right when he said that he could shoot someone in the middle of Times Square and not lose a single voter from his "base." People don't care if he's a tax cheat and thinks staying in office will protect him from having to repay $400 million he does have.

He, Pence, Barr and Pompeo have sucked the last bit of dignity America had.

Trump continues to push the envelope and his luck and, though he's already up to his neck in dreck and the world sees him sinking into the financial and political quagmire of his own making, his cult disciples see him walking presidentially on the swamp and his base with the devotion of Blondi will even follow him all the way to 5th Avenue until he whips out his pistol to prove their undying loyalty. The disappointment those folks will feel when Trump finally goes down to defeat to Biden and the Dems will be too painful even for schadenfreude. Trumpism is kaputt!

Jack O Helen- “ It's no wonder why so many registered Republicans who voted for Trump in 2016 are fed up and are vowing not make the same mistake again. “

Many of my Hispanic and Black co- workers voted for Trump 4 years ago and now are even more determined to vote for him again. Their eyes are open and see through the media sheet storm.

Trump doesn't belong to any party except his own. The only reason why he chose the Republican party is because that's the only party which attracts people who are easily brainwashed. He thinks his followers are disgusting, worthless, beneath him, and yet they still follow him. Good for them!

For years, we've been hearing how we'll see his real tax forms. We've been hearing that he'll publicize a new beautiful health plan in two week's time for the past 4 years. This child is hoping to stay in the WH for life, because he knows he'll also get life as soon as he leaves!

Trump lied and 200,000 Americans died. A can of tomatoes would be a better President.

Biden is a good enough guy. Not ideal, is too old for one. But he is better than a can of tomatoes. Vote Democratic in every election so that the Republicans either reform and present reasonable candidates, or go the way of the Whig party.

Will Trump be able to go 90 minutes without using "Hoax, Scam, Fake News" as a response?

3 ( +7 / -4 )

These voters who know that Trump doesn't promote the true Republican values are angry with this charlatan.

Trump does promote true GOP values. He despises the poor, hates minorities, loathes women, and wants an authoritarian nation under the boot heel of a tough man who will hurt everyone who isn't a wealthy, straight white male, and so do the GOP and their voters.

It's just other GOP politicians are a little better at hiding it.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Biden should hand Trump $750 at the beginning of the debate and say "Next year's on me, honey!".

3 ( +4 / -1 )

And to think...this is the best the United States can put forward?

Embarrassing

Depressing. Despotic regimes can show this to their people as a warning about what can happen.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

The Trump Biden debate is something close to a "Political Jerry Springer Show"!  Expect to see violent languages from Trump's mouth!

3 ( +5 / -2 )

He doesn’t know how to debate the facts because he’s not that smart. He doesn’t know that many facts.

Ouch.

But your mind goes blank too many times. Not good.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

I bet Trump will bring up speculatives, like "If Biden becomes president he will ..." while Biden will present the current situation and facts about the death toll, lies, divisiveness, and feelings of hate that Trump has brought upon Americans. Let's see, speculation versus reality. It's no wonder why so many registered Republicans who voted for Trump in 2016 are fed up and are vowing not make the same mistake again. These voters who know that Trump doesn't promote the true Republican values are angry with this charlatan.

I am just glad to finally hear from Biden.

How much you must be looking forward to Mr. Trump out-debating him with his devastating oratorical skills.

Many of my Hispanic and Black co- workers voted for Trump 4 years ago and now are even more determined to vote for him again.

Oh? Can we ask them? No? Personal anecdotes don't really cut it I'm afraid.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Biden is refusing a pre debate drug test.

ohara, are you looking forward to being a "no good dog faced pony soldier" less than 24 hours from now?

I said it before and I’ll say it again, there is no way the Dems are going to allow a Trump/Biden debate. Something will happen to prevent it.

If Im wrong Im a no good dog face pony soldier.

This should be interesting. Trump is an arrogant blabbermouth and Biden is rather dry and not all that vocal.

Biden just has to maintain his cool, keep on message and come back at Trump with something like Ronald Reagan did in his debates: "Well, there you go again!"

If Biden loses his cool, gets off message and decides to wrestle in the mud with Trump, it'll be a be a big mistake.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

I do, but Biden has been a bit more quiet about their roles or he plain forgot....

What does it matter? You should be praising him, if you really believe he engaged in nepotism.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Trump and be able to hold him to account for the malfeasance he has shown leading the country,”

True. But all his blunders, including the mounting Covid45 deaths and his crippled economy seeing millions of Americans out of work with no job prospects are acceptable to the two main parts of his base: one the 'elite' 'establishment' getting richer each day he's in office, and two white nationalists. Those two groups will forgive Trump all else as long as he continues to do their bidding.

If Wallace is on his toes tomorrow, he'll ask Trump this series of questions; Mr President:

Is it true you have $421 million in personal debt?

If so, what bank, investment firm, individual(s) do you owe this debt to?

More specifically, your son Eric stated in 2014; "We get all the money we need out of Russia"....how much of the $421 million is owed by you to elements or individuals in Russia or their proxies such as Deutsche Bank?

You have stated on tape to Bob Woodward in Feb and Mar that you knew COVID was "a killer", "deadly", it "rips you apart", it's "highly contagious - airborne", "it's the plague"....yet you held 19 rallies since then with no distancing and masks...and have referred to COVID as "the flu"...did you deliberately mislead the American people?

You also acknowledged in Mar that the virus isn't just affecting old people, it's "young people too - plenty of young people". But then in May you said to open schools because; "it has very little impact on young people"....did you purposely put our children in danger?

No, as I said...

So you don't have very high expectations of Donald Trump? Probably sensible.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

What does he have to explain? You think he engaged in nepotism, which is, according to you, good. So why not praise Biden. Unless you suspect he didn't commit nepotism, and you think he should be attacked for his son winning a contract fair and square, because you don't like that sort of thing.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Trump’s debate notes have been leaked. Apparently, it’s 10 pages of “No, YOU!”

0 ( +6 / -6 )

I mean't to say $400 million he doesn't have.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

If by “preparing” you mean rage-tweeting and devouring a bucket of KFC, then yes, Trump is preparing quite well.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Trump's main topic will be refusing, denying, blaming others for the mistakes he made. And of course trying to tell everyone how great he is.

That's Trump in a nutshell. It shouldn't be too difficult to prepare for a debate with an inarticulate, self-obsessed, loose-cannon monomaniac, but Biden has to hit Trump hard where it hurts, laser-focused on his record of four years of corruption and incompetence, the cost of 200,000+ lives, the failure of "Trumpcare" and the destruction of people's livelihoods while keeping a firm lid on his own emotions or else he may find himself wobbling on the wire and in danger of falling into the abyss of embarrassing senior moments without a safety net.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Will Biden have an ear piece? Will Biden be leaked the questions, just like Hillary? Should be interesting. A true debate should have a neutral moderator with questions gathered from random people 30 minutes just before the debate and handed to the moderator at the start of the debate. I remember a kind of town hall meeting in Japan and Japanese citizens were asking questions to Bill Clinton. They would take a few questions from audience in Tokyo and an audience in Osaka. Switch back and forth between the 2 cities after 3 questions. He handled himself really well. Especially to the one question, “What does your wife think about your situation with Monica?” He answered it well, but the TV station quickly switched back to a Tokyo. Those pesky Osakans stirring up trouble... LOL

I'm more interested in vice presidential debate. The next presidency may be short-lived. During the four-year term, Biden could step aside for health reason; Trump could be charged of impeachment.

Does anyone else see the literal moral fabric of America unraveling?

Doesn’t the Constitution feel suddenly watered down and vulnerable?

If Biden doesn’t win by a landslide, I’m rescinding my US citizenship and that I promise.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Biden shouldn’t even bother. This election is a referendum on trumps failures. The debates only give Shyster Don a platform to lie more. The debates serve no purpose for the American people.

If Biden doesn’t win by a landslide, I’m rescinding my US citizenship and that I promise.

Sure, like you said 4 years ago but supposedly Canada rejected your application.

Trump's main focus for the debate tonight...

Walking up the stairs to the stage without falling...and drinking a glass of water with one hand...

9 deaths from corona in the USA for age 0-17. 6 of the 9 had underlying conditions. So yeah it does have very little impact on young people. So yes something can affect people while having very little impact.

example: The train delay affected my arrival time to the office. But it didnt impact anything because my meeting was cancelled.

You also acknowledged in Mar that the virus isn't just affecting old people, it's "young people too - plenty of young people". But then in May you said to open schools because; "it has very little impact on young people"....did you purposely put our children in danger?

Trump debate prep....

OK Mr President - repeat after me - "My father was born in the US - not Germany".....

And; "Colorado is in the middle of the US, not on our southern border".....

One more; it's "the origins of the Mueller investigation, not oranges"....

And remember, your VP is Mike Pence, not Mike Pounce.....

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

Trump lied and 200,000 Americans died. A can of tomatoes would be a better President.

Love though that you were the first one that called Trump a racist xenophobe when he stopped flights from China.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

No, as I said I am looking forward to Biden finally, personally and publicly, having to announce clear and final policy positions.

not saying one thing them changing it after a poll tells him it’s not helping his election chances.

How much you must be looking forward to Mr. Trump out-debating him with his devastating oratorical skills.

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Biden: Trump lied and 200 million died! clap for that. (checks watch, still 89 mins 50 seconds remaining in the debate).

Biden: Someone said without paper or video evidence that Trump disparaged soldiers from World War 1.

Trump: Hey can you play that video of Biden calling modern soldiers deployed to the Middle East "stupid b-stards", "slow" and "dull"

Biden: Jill? Jill? I wanna go home. Orangemanbad!

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

I am just glad to finally hear from Biden. Not his wife. not his campaign spokespeople, but Biden. No earpice, no softball questions, no teleprompter.

he cant just go 90 mins talking about 200 million deaths from coronavirus and orangemanbad.

Sooner or later he is going to have to mention an actual policy, and I am interested which one he chooses as he has flip flopped on several and not answered clearly about several others.

Trump doesn't belong to any party except his own.

That’s a fantastic thing.

The only reason why he chose the Republican party is because that's the only party which attracts people who are easily brainwashed.

He thinks his followers are disgusting, worthless, beneath him, and yet they still follow him. Good for them!

Minorities have been brainwashed for over 60 years by Democrat policies, why Democrats never address the issues of their biggest constituents? Maybe they think they’re all losers since nothing has changed in these areas.

For years, we've been hearing how we'll see his real tax forms. We've been hearing that he'll publicize a new beautiful health plan in two week's time for the past 4 years. This child is hoping to stay in the WH for life, because he knows he'll also get life as soon as he leaves!

Trump has said this back in 2016 when Dems brought this up, Trump was honest and didn’t deny it, he told Hillary he used the tax and bankruptcy laws to his advantage which is perfectly legal, but most average Americans don’t know this, I would have done the same and thousands of rich people do this and Trump said, “that makes me smart!” I tend to agree.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

If Trump could breeze thru the primaries 4 years ago and then stomp Hilary my guess is he will make mincemeat out of Biden.  although with Slow Joe's 180 years in the Senate he has had a lot of practice at making hot air.

Trump now has a record to run on that, while not perfect, at least shows he has tried to do what he said he would.  Hence all the nonsense about insulting the military and tax returns and Covid is his fault and no one would have died if he did his job.......

Poor Joe is going to be asked about HIS record and HIS Covid plans and HIS family finances and my guess is he will struggle.

Unless he offers Trump out in a push up contest or a fist fight......

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Why can't you wait? You have said before that you think nepotism is good.

I do, but Biden has been a bit more quiet about their roles or he plain forgot....

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

If he starts slipping too bad, Ms Harris is there.

Heaven help us all.

Unlike your side, we will do something if our President becomes incapacitated or, unworthy of the office.

Given what she did in California considering her record as a Federal prosecutor and Like destroying what last big of democracy we have left, I don't doubt that for one bit.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Ok, so basically Biden will probably try to use deflection and hit Trump with deaths that a lot of Democrat mayors and governors could have avoided by lifting the lockdown in areas that weren't hardest hit by the COVID, Biden won't talk about how people in nursing homes died and that their deaths could have been avoided had people like Cuomo and DeBlasio acted promptly and now since they allowed this lockdown to fester and won't allow job creators to work or employ people, let's hope Trump brings up the thousands of people leaving the largest blue cities for peace, law and order and the violence perpetrated by radicals of Antifa and BLM and I hope Wallace addresses the issue of these radicals and how he would handle them.

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

What does he have to explain?

It's ok, if he doesn't then neither should Trump since his kids already did, so that part is over, liberals it's time to move on.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

No need for a debate, I already know what each candidate will be talking about.

Biden is obsessed with Trump, that's all he'll spend his time on.

Trump is obsessed with the media, and he'll spend his time on that.
