A slogan for those unable to deal with complexities, those unable to understand the interconnectedness of US businesses at all levels with China, those with only a binary understanding of existence.
It's extremely worrying the CCP empire is expanding as rapidly as it is. And equally worrying US businesses continue to play such a huge role in helping China expand even more.
Trump should set an example by severing his family's business connections with CCP members. Until he does, his 'buy American' is just another empty slogan for him and his parrots.

China is going to be an important issue, but how important remains to be seen. Also, the perception of Biden's attitude on China is also going to play a role.

If Joe Biden is odd on favorite to succeed Donald Trump, US Presidential election November, it would be wise to be aware of Joe Biden polices towards the Government of China when in office as Vice President………..
Joe Biden could be rightly accused of sitting on his hands and achieving little or nothing, as the Government of China set about building fortified sand castles in the South China Sea.
Within 18 months of Joe Biden taking office, the Government of China will be able to enforce a full air and sea defense zone spanning the entire nine dash line. An air and sea defense zone that can have a devastating effect on the most crucial global shipping lane.
Whatever one’s opinion on Donald Trump, Joe Biden was and still is no match for Xi Jinping and the Government of China…..

As Bolton said, he "took a knee" and bowed down to Xi to ask for help for his failing re-election....
He tells Xi its fine for him to lock up and "re-educate" Uighers - "the concentration camps are no problem"...
He has been their business partner for years having his "Trump Collection" clothing line made in Chinese sweatshop factories...

Actions? Has he had his family sever their business relations with CCP members? One action I'm aware of is Trump and ilk giving even larger subsidies (aka welfare/socialism for the rich) to corporate agriculture.

Over 170 billion dollars has been committed fortifing Subi Reef in the Spratly chain of islands in the South China Sea alone. The Government of China did not spent that sort of sum to simply stand by and not enforce air defence identification zone (ADIZ) in the South China Sea.
Will either Joe Biden or Donald Trump, or putting it simply, would either Joe Biden or Donald Trump prepared to go to war to prevent this from happening? .....It is a honest question to ask. The stakes couldn't be higher.
