Good ad. Simple and powerful.

He did say these things. He needs to stop whining when he gets called out and grow up.

Pathetic.

Democratic presidential candidates harshly criticized President Donald Trump for using the term “hoax” in connection with the coronavirus outbreak. There’s no question that the president described the disease as the Democrats’ “new hoax” at a political rally on Feb. 28 in South Carolina.

Lol the ad posted the entire quote of what Donny said. It's not defamation to restate what Donny said. It's not our fault Donny is an inarticulate moron.

Then the president, who often dismissed special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation as a hoax, continued, “They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything. They tried it over and over. They’d been doing it since you got in. It’s all turning. They lost. It’s all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax.”

"This [the virus] is their [the democrats] new hoax".

So there you have it - he called the virus the a (new) hoax by the democrats. A democratic hoax.

You aren’t really expecting a relevant answer, are you?

No of course not.

*The term "defamation" is an all-encompassing term that covers any statement that hurts someone's reputation, also called defamation of character.

Ok, let's go with this.

You're saying The Impeached One's own words, presented unedited and undoctored, as he spoke them, constitute statements that hurt his own reputation?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

it would seem the President most definitely has a good case to settle.

Against himself maybe. After all, he's the speaker in all the clips.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Now you trust polls? Of course you do when they support you. Smh.

I see you don't like that poll, hehe

*As for taking the moron's words out of context; please explain. In what way are they taken out of context, what do you understand to be the true context, and what did the Chosen One actually mean when he said...*

Here's the first one. From FactCheck.org:

Democratic presidential candidates harshly criticized President Donald Trump for using the term “hoax” in connection with the coronavirus outbreak. There’s no question that the president described the disease as the Democrats’ “new hoax” at a political rally on Feb. 28 in South Carolina.

But the following day, after the death of the first American from coronavirus in Washington state, Trump said that when he used the word “hoax,” he was referring to Democrats finding fault with his administration’s response to coronavirus, not the virus itself.

Even after Trump explained his remarks, some Democrats — including former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg — continued to wrongly accuse Trump of describing the coronavirus as a “hoax.”

The kerfuffle began at the rally in North Charleston, South Carolina when Trump accused the Democrats of “politicizing” the coronavirus outbreak.

“Now the Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus, you know that, right?” he said. “Coronavirus, they’re politicizing it. We did one of the great jobs. You say, ‘How’s President Trump doing?’ They go, ‘Oh, not good, not good.’ They have no clue. They don’t have any clue. They can’t even count their votes in Iowa.”

And this is their new hoax.”

https://www.factcheck.org/2020/03/trump-and-the-new-hoax/

Now, go and look up the rest of them on your own.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Anyway, try and deflect all you want, but your were still utterly incorrect

Well, not really.

So according to the law of a Defamation lawsuit.

*The term "defamation" is an all-encompassing term that covers any statement that hurts someone's reputation, also called defamation of character. If the statement is made in writing and published, the defamation is called "libel." If the hurtful statement is spoken, the statement is "slander." Defamation is considered to be a civil wrong or a tort. **A person that has suffered a defamatory statement may sue the person that made the statement under defamation law, which would be called a defamation case***.**

So it would seem the President most definitely has a good case to settle. But then again, the same liberal experts claimed Trump didn’t have a chance with his asylum laws and got backed by the SC.

Sick, just absolutely sick - that's the only way to describe this complete idiot obsessing over his re-election chances while thousands of Americans die because of his incompetence...

And as the CDC experts tell us, it will get worse over the next two weeks.

Americans to Donnie - stop the "fifth grade" behavior...

You call yourself a "wartime President" - that may be true - and by your incompetence you're aiding and abetting the enemy...

Trump literally calls the virus a Democratic hoax, on video, and the moron crew claim that it's "taken out of context".

Yeah, the context being that he blames everything on democrats.

The moron crew whines about #orangemanbad, after whining about #fakennews, and then whines when people post #realvideo of #trumpcallingthevirusademocratichoax.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Wasn't Don the Con tweeting out doctored videos last month?

And now he's whining about actual videos of things he actually said.

Yeah, boo-hoo donny boy.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I see comments are turned off on that video taking the president's words completely out of context.

Of course the comments are turned off, the Trump supporters don't know how to behave in an anonymous public forum, the comments would be full of filth and death threats in no time.

As for taking the moron's words out of context; please explain. In what way are they taken out of context, what do you understand to be the true context, and what did the Chosen One actually mean when he said;

this is their new hoax

We have it totally under control

One person coming in from China

One day it's like a miracle, it will disappear

When you have 15 people and within a couple of days is going to be down close to zero.

We really think we've done a great job in keeping it down to a minimum

I like this stuff, I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it

I don't take responsibility at all

Which bit of Donny Boy's own words is a false assertion of what he has said?

It’s still not defamation. HAR!

lol That's probably because they don't want to Trumpian nonsense. What was taken out of context?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Here's the video: Whats defamatory about it? lol

That must be why his approval ratings are the highest they've ever been despite the economy taking a big hit and all the negative press.

Now you trust polls? Of course you do when they support you. Smh.

To prove either type of a defamation lawsuit, plaintiffs must prove the following elements:

The defendant made a false and defamatory statement concerning the plaintiff;

The defendant made the defamatory statement to a third party knowing it was false (or they should have known it was false); and

The publisher acted at least negligently in publishing the communication.

Notice the absolute lack of the element of feeling? ROFL!

Anyway, try and deflect all you want, but your were still utterly incorrect at 8:40 when you claimed Donny’s lawyers get to decide if the opposing party files counterclaims. Smh. Dear lord.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

No, it doesn't. PTownsend asked if the ad-makers could counter-sue. You said that whether or not people could sue Trump would be up to Trump's lawyers. Chip star noted that this makes no sense whatsoever. You then said Trump's lawyers can sue for slander or defamation, which is nothing to do with the countersuit mentioned. It's also not slander to quote someone's words to them, no matter what certain website forum moderators might think

Not true, if the person feels that an ad, be it in print or video form is defamatory to their character which they deem as hurtful, harmful, distressful or causes emotional or psychological pain can definitely be challenged in a court of law. The Democrats did it to Trump, there’s no difference of him doing it here. Will he be successful, we don’t know, does he have the right to sue? Absolutely. Liberals can hate the guy, nothing unusual, but they can’t stop him from suing and taking these people on.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Well played!

The President is on solid and legal ground to take action he deems is defamatory.

Lol Dotard is on solid ground to get his butt kicked in court. Go for it Donny, let's have the courts throw your case out, because its true.

Skip to about 3:30 for when Donny calls this this the next Democrat hoax.

We're in a pandemic, hundreds of Americans are dying, needed supplies aren't being delivered, and medical experts say this is just the beginning and its going to get worse...

And this Moron does nothing but whine about Governors not complimenting him enough and that the Dems are using his own stupid utterings against him...

He's nothing but a Great Orange Buffoon...causing the deaths of more Americans...

0 ( +3 / -3 )

No, it doesn’t have to do with Donny suing, but it is what you incorrectly claimed in your post at 8:40.

Donny is not on solid legal ground suing for defamation connected to an organization using Donny’s own words. You should leave the law to the experts.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Ok, but that all has nothing to do with the actions the President will take against with them slandering his character. No liberal or Democrat can call or stop him from taking action, doesn’t matter what these people think or want. The President is on solid and legal ground to take action he deems is defamatory.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Donny being able to die for defamation has nothing to do with you claiming Donny’s lawyers get to determine whether the opposing party can file counter-claims.

It’s unbelievable that someone would do such a blatant 180 in two posts and then try to deny it even though the rest of us can read the flip-flopping poster’s words. Smh.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

That's got nothing to do with what you said, though.

Yes, it actually does. But let’s see what the President will do about it, he doesn’t have to take that crap from the Dems. and he does have all the legal options to challenge them on this.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

They can sue for slander and defamation of character of course they can, which going by his history with this has a high chance of winning.

That's got nothing to do with what you said, though.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Donny’s lawyers do not get to determine of the opposing party files counterclaims. That is a very weird understand of the law, or just extremely poor writing. Smh.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

The truth is an absolute defense to defamation. It will be difficult for Donny’s lawyers to demonstrate that Donny’s words are defamation against Donny. Dear lord!

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Will those who sponsored the ads countersue? If the ads are fact based and use actual footage (not Trump's minions altered videos for example), aren't illegal, slanderous or libelous, what's the problem.

That will be for his lawyers to determine. Because if they can prove the Dems are slandering him and illegally making false allegros of how he expressed himself or distorted his words, the Dems could be in trouble again. So we shall see.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

The campaign says the ad is false.

Will those who sponsored the ads countersue? If the ads are fact based and use actual footage (not Trump's minions altered videos for example), aren't illegal, slanderous or libelous, what's the problem. I'm sure Trump supporters who've long opined Trump's off the cuff remarks are Constitutionally permissible - freedom of speech - are upset at Trump's re-election campaign for doing this. Or are his campaign people just trying to tie things up in court until after the election. Trump has been involved in more lawsuits than any politician I can think of. Google Trump lawsuits

2 ( +3 / -1 )

And Trump makes a literal attack on the media, for what he calls "fake news".

The problem is, it's not fake.

And it most definitely is news.

He's a mess on this issue. He can't fight it, and he just looks weaker and weaker every time he opens his mouth or does anything.

Meanwhile more than 100 Americans a day are dying now. Because of this "hoax".

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Hilarious to see Donny whining about being quoted. If you don’t want to be quotes saying stupid things, stop and think before you open your mouth.

The DPRK was correct, Donny is a dotard.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

"This is their new hoax." . . . Pres. Trump

Did he or did he not say this, or words to that effect?

Yep, he sure did. And now he wants to take it back and claim that what he said then is now fake news.

Talk about wanting and expecting to have it both ways. Like a spoiled kid.
