Once again Trump attacking the private sector, trying to manipulate the market for his personal gain. Trump and others in Team Russia should just rely on Yandex, or start their own search engine.

A better choice would be for the big social media companies to tell the campaigns, large and small, that nobody gets to pay for eyeballs in their platforms; they all need to earn it.
Political ads, targeted to biases, are wrong. Full stop.

Democratic political groups have also been critical of Google’s new policy. “Tech companies should not reduce the power of the grassroots just because it is easier than addressing abuse on their platforms,” said leaders of the Democratic National Committee and allied groups helping oversee Democratic congressional campaigns.
Well, whaddya know, Trump and the Democrats actually agree on something.

That shouldn't worry Team Russia and others in the global alt right. Y'all still have Yandex, Fox and Comrades (Tucker, Hannity, Ingraham, etal), RT/Sputnik, infowars and who knows how many other outlets around the globe to push alt facts, partial truths slimed over and outright fake news.
