The US should’ve dropped Pakistan like a hot potato long ago.

Funny, on the one hand Pakistan has been a good ally and have been instrumental on helping us fight radical Islam, but then on the other hand, they do support it and have financed it. At best their a "frenemy." I have no doubt in my mind had the last admin. told the Pakistani government that we were conducting a raid to get OBL, I'm sure they would have tipped him off and we would probably still be looking for him. They speak out of both sides of their mouths.

Better late than never! Pakistan is the 2nd biggest terroism supporting country following Saudi Arabia. Its mind blowing America's 'travel ban' targets innocent countries such as Iran and Syria but not these two

Agree Seth.

Saudi and Pakistan should be among the primary countries on the ban list. Those savages treat women like garbage...... even committing “honor killings.”

The US is losing control.

Quite the opposite. The U.S. is taking their control back.

I'm typically all for diplomacy, but Pakistan can go pound sand in my opinion. They let us spend years and millions chasing Bin Laden, when they knew exactly where he was the entire time. They've been two-timing us for years.

Trump has zero understanding of what aid to Pakistan was for. He doesn't even know what aid to Israel is for. I would love to know who it was that talked to him all of five minutes about cutting off aid, because it certainly wasn't the US military industrial complex that depends on it.

I doubt it, I think Trump looked at the data, listened to his senior Generals and then came to the conclusion to cut aid. He doesn't have to know, that's what his advisors are there for to inform him, they discuss and all come to a decision and Trump makes the final call and good on him for telling Pakistan to tighten it up or else.

He doesn't even know what aid to Israel is for.

Where are you getting this stuff from?

I would love to know who it was that talked to him all of five minutes about cutting off aid, because it certainly wasn't the US military industrial complex that depends on it.

Again, every President has foreign affairs and military advisors that steer and guide the President and I believe he did the right thing, now the liberals would just let things go on as usual, instead of cutting aid, they would rather again, keep the status quo and do things in a secret fashion, like getting OBL without letting their government know we are coming, in that case it makes us no different than the Pakistanis to them. Trump called them out directly, No backstabbing, No flip flopping, he just told them the truth and the charges and said, this is what we will do unless you get out of supporting terrorism business. A real leader will tell you to your face, always.

Finally we have a president with a backbone who who calls them as he sees them. Money talks and BS walks!

First, let me stipulate a lot of us have been long appalled by the double game the Pakistanis have played for years. But, it shows how complicated building relationships in this part of the world can be. That being said, let's get to the bottom line. We had better increase our sanctions on Russia and their sale of oil and gas to the West because if and when Vlad has a couple hundred billion more in the Kremlin Treasury to play with his first call is going to be to the Pakistanis to suggest maybe they would like a more reliable sponsor and supplier of modern arms to defend themselves.

Here is the dirty truth. Look at a map and you see the strategic position Pakistan is playing in our war on terror and , in particular, in our ability to supply and sustain both our troops but also the Afghanistan Army as we attempt to shore it up against the resurgent Taliban. Now imagine all those ports in Pakistan and those roads into Afghanistan are no longer available to us.

Also, if you are really concerned about nuclear proliferation you do not * the Pakistanis. They and the Indians have shown a tendency to sell their technology to the highest bidders in the world. And, I am sure Vladimir Putin could care less who they sell to so long as he can put another nation into his column of influence for His New Russian Empire.
