Hell to pay? More than the holocaust being dealt to the Palestinians at present?

23 ( +36 / -13 )

When Hamas launched its attack and took the hostages, it knew how Israel would respond. It wanted to cause the bloodshed that has resulted because it sees it as being in its long-term interests to sacrifice its people, ensuring that there will never be peace in the Middle East.

Getting Trump involved in a war on day-1 of his Presidency will be an even bigger victory for Hamas.

And the fanatical evangelical Christian right will be drooling over this, believing that it heralds the end times and the rapture.

2 ( +19 / -17 )

A bit more hell is needed before Hamas are destroyed and attacks like Oct. 7 are no longer a threat.

“Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity," Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social site.

He added that, "Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!”

Four more years of headlines of Trump's presidential politicking from his smartphone on the toilet in ALL CAPS.

12 ( +20 / -8 )

Sounds clear to me. Hope the hostage takers are listening.

why would the left complain about such a clear and strong statement after over 1 year of Biden Administration inaction?

-16 ( +11 / -27 )

The people of Gaza will pay with their lives. Which is what Hamas wants.

And Miriam Adelson will get what she wants through her payment of $100 million to Trump.

4 ( +14 / -10 )

maybe he means tariffs on keffiyehs (palestinian scarves)?

Sounds clear to me. Hope the hostage takers are listening.

why would the left complain about such a clear and strong statement after over 1 year of Biden Administration inaction?

Because it is meaningless except to give Israel a green light for further atrocities.

I just want him to solve America’s problems.

As long as he remains the President of the U.S. people can say what they want.

> Hell to pay? More than the holocaust being dealt to the Palestinians at present?

Exactly, could it really get any worse for Gaza? Suppose nuking it is an option. Even Mr. Trump can surely see that. So maybe his threats aren't directed at the Palestinian side........

I mean yeah, the hostages should be released, but inflammatory rhetoric helps nobody. "Hell to pay?" Pur-lease.

He really is like a teenager who's spent too much time watching movies like Red Dawn and Rambo, isn't he?

12 ( +16 / -4 )

Hostages, More like captured combatants reservist. Or they are not Israel Jews because all Israel jews must serve and minimum of years in the IDF. And we know they are not ultra orthodox because why would ultra Orthodox Jews be inside a active military guard posts not 1 km from the walls of the goal ???? Hell to pay ?? like Vietnam like LOL like The Taliban lol lol , Like Iraq LOL. Hoo Hah Hamas, Hoo Hah Hezbollah, Hoo Hah Houties. Join the Congo line of other useless former Presidents, Trump.

2 ( +9 / -7 )

I mean yeah, the hostages should be released, but inflammatory rhetoric helps nobody. "Hell to pay?" Pur-lease.

Yes, there will be hell to pay because now Israel will get all the military support it neeeds which equals arms, which will greatly help put Hamas out of commission for a very long time

He really is like a teenager who's spent too much time watching movies like Red Dawn and Rambo, isn't he?

No, but it’s important for Hamas to understand they aren’t dealing with a limited anti-Israel US government.

-16 ( +4 / -20 )

Trump needs to read the news. Gaza is already hell on earth. 50,000 dead including women, children, and babies. Destruction of all the buildings. Restricted aid trucks.

19 ( +22 / -3 )

Trump needs to read the news. Gaza is already hell on earth.

He’s so focused on the U.S. probably slipped his mind.

50,000 dead including women, children, and babies. Destruction of all the buildings. Restricted aid trucks.

Sad

Awww so now that Trump is involved all the leftists reflexively have to support Gaza and Hamas?

Have you been deaf? Nobody supports Hamas, but many, left and right, support the civilians in Gaza that are being hammered by the IDF.

11 ( +15 / -4 )

Well Done Sir,

Start with Bibi who delayed, sabotaged, tangled, and torpedoed every effort to negotiate their release only to save his own neck.

1 ( +10 / -9 )

Here he comes.

These hostages will be released one way or the other and Bibi will be arrested. Guaranteed.

1 ( +8 / -7 )

Only thing Trump is running is his big mouth, you will see how incompetent he is , nobody want to be on his administration for the fear of going to jail, nobody fear but yellow coward MAGA

1 ( +8 / -7 )

Yes, there will be hell to pay because now Israel will get all the military support it neeeds which equals arms, which will greatly help put Hamas out of commission for a very long time

Hang on. I thought you were like "America first, the USA needs to focus entirely on itself and everyone else can twist in the wind". I mean you certainly imply as much about assisting Ukraine. What makes Israel more deserving of help than Ukraine? Little bit of Putin-worship going on?

If anything, Israel is already the strongest country in that region in both military and technological terms.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

support the civilians in Gaza that are being hammered by the IDF.

And that stops once the hostages are released.

which Trump is trying to impact now and which Biden has ignored for 14 months.

those Gazan deaths are blood on Joe’s hands. But all the left wants to talk about is criticizing Trump for a tweet. Typical.

-8 ( +7 / -15 )

The world should impose an international embargo on Israel Jews and arrest citizens that served in the IDF, American that died for Israel, did not die upholding American value of Liberty Equality and Justice for All

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

but inflammatory rhetoric helps nobody. "Hell to pay?" Pur-lease.

neither does inaction, also helps nobody.

”we won’t rest until all the hostages are released ”? Pur-lease indeed.

hold Biden accountable for once? Or nah?

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

which Trump is trying to impact now and which Biden has ignored for 14 months.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/speeches-remarks/2023/11/24/remarks-by-president-biden-on-the-release-of-hostages-from-gaza/

Beginning this morning, under a deal reached by extensive U.S. diplomacy, including numerous calls I’ve made from the Oval Office to leaders across the region, fighting in Gaza will halt for four days.

This deal also is structured to allow a pause to continue for more than 50 hostages to be released. That’s our goal.

Date: November 24, 2023

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Trump is the most insecure person, you never seen Trump confront another man in his life

7 ( +10 / -3 )

The bombing and killing will not stop even if all the hostages are released. Israel has no end-game plan.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

Hang on. I thought you were like "America first,

Yes.

the USA needs to focus entirely on itself and everyone else can twist in the wind".

To a large extent, definitely not like before.

I mean you certainly imply as much about assisting Ukraine.

Yes, sir

What makes Israel more deserving of help than Ukraine?

Strategic Ally: Israel is a critical partner in the Middle East, providing military, intelligence, and regional stability against shared threats like Iran and terrorism.

Shared Values: As a democracy, Israel aligns with U.S. principles, making its defense a symbol of support for democratic ideals.

Moral Responsibility: Historical ties, especially post-Holocaust, create a sense of obligation to ensure Israel’s security.

Geopolitical Influence: Israel’s location offers the U.S. strategic leverage in the region for defense and diplomacy.

Economic and Technological Benefits: Collaboration in innovation and defense strengthens U.S. capabilities.

Little bit of Putin-worship going on?

Debunked multiple times.

If anything, Israel is already the strongest country in that region in both military and technological terms.

But they needs weapons, not to mention they help keep the radical jihadists at bay, monitor and kill them.

-14 ( +3 / -17 )

Biden should have issued the same statement on October 7th last year.

-1 ( +8 / -9 )

Biden should have issued the same statement on October 7th last year.

I absolutely agree.

-16 ( +2 / -18 )

The bombing and killing will not stop even if all the hostages are released. Israel has no end-game plan.

Neither does Hamas, they can continue attacking Israel and each time a senior leader will be neutralized. Good luck with that.

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

HELL TO PAY ?!?! Really?! What are you going to do? Bomb Gaza some more? The Israelis have already turned Gaza into an ash heap.

6 ( +11 / -5 )

How about Israel releasing the 1000s of Palestinian hostages it has been holding for years. That's the reason Oct 7 happened.

6 ( +11 / -5 )

Start with Bibi who delayed, sabotaged, tangled, and torpedoed every effort to negotiate their release only to save his own neck.

Exactly!

How about Israel releasing the 1000s of Palestinian hostages it has been holding for years. That's the reason Oct 7 happened.

THIS!!

-5 ( +7 / -12 )

you should get off that MAGA crazy moon bat delusional

So who is not delusional?

Israel Jews have nothing in common with Americans, Mexican from Mexico have more in common than Israelis Jews, Trump will be in the second stage of dementia,a year into his Presidency

I don’t even know what that garbled rant means, but I can say, the U.S. will always side with Israel, that won’t change.

-15 ( +2 / -17 )

Yes, the stable genius will bring peace to the world.

Like the guy you rushed to vote for?

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

> Strategic Ally: Israel is a critical partner in the Middle East, providing military, intelligence, and regional stability against shared threats like Iran and terrorism.

So a resurgent Russia, with nobody standing up to it, does not strike you as a strategic danger to the world in general?

Shared Values: As a democracy, Israel aligns with U.S. principles, making its defense a symbol of support for democratic ideals.

So anything less than a democracy isn't worthy of US support. That's an interesting take.

Moral Responsibility: Historical ties, especially post-Holocaust, create a sense of obligation to ensure Israel’s security.

"Historical ties". Your country used to actually stand up to Russia (and other countries)...anyone remember the Cold War and Cuban Missile Crisis?

3 ( +7 / -4 )

This deal also is structured to allow a pause to continue for more than 50 hostages to be released. That’s our goal.

so how many were released during this already expired pause?

has Biden rested since then?

Irrelevant. You claimed that Biden had ignored the hostage situation. I showed that he hadn't, thus proving you wrong. Case closed. I know you hate everything that democrats stand for, but you really shouldn't let it cloud your judgement so much that you refuse to see objective facts.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Definitely the dumbest of the universe. Gaza is already hell and Hamas may reply to his stupidity with more death...

5 ( +9 / -4 )

Trump needs to read the news.

Funny, will it had any pictures in it?

2 ( +6 / -4 )

This is what a strong leader does. He will get immediate results.

Hamas terrorists and their scum supporters - cry more.

-10 ( +5 / -15 )

HELL TO PAY ?!?! Really?! What are you going to do? Bomb Gaza some more? The Israelis have already turned Gaza into an ash heap.

So why keep the hostages?

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

This is what a strong leader does. He will get immediate results.

I hope he can get the hostages back by talking like a war movie cliché, but if he doesn't, I assume you have a scapegoat lined up? Maybe "DEI", "woke", "libs", "Biden", or whatever...

3 ( +8 / -5 )

the u.s. should just stay out of the middle east completely. israel doesn’t need the help of any country. after all the times they’ve been attacked, they’ve got this figured out and have everything they need.

some of you are too young to remember the 60’s when all arab countries attacked israel at once. it lasted one week.

put up a wall if you want to keep the u.s. out and them in.

translation; Israel keeps winning, that stinks. Lets handicap them by taking away their allies.

At least Joe tried to temper Netanyahu. Trump will do no such thing.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

This is why the American people voted for him. They are tired of the antisemitism and people forgetting what this war is all about. Hamas killed and tortured and kidnapped innocent civilians.

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

Most of the Democrat Party was Pro-Israel too but they conveniently forget that to whine about anything Trump does.

ok, look.

for those who support palistine/hamas in this war, i can’t think of a better example of the consequences of voting for and supporting extreme entities.

you know what i mean?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

I mean yeah, the hostages should be released, but inflammatory rhetoric helps nobody. "Hell to pay?" Pur-lease.

it's very clear to the point. The USA has been very patient for one year.

The new administration will clean up this mess.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

Trump's sending a clear message of accountability for those who inflict mayhem on civilized society.

Those most nervous right now about now are the drug cartels soon to be classified by Trump as 'terrorists'. US marines and others are busy cleaning their weapons!

Nice to have leadership with a clear vision of right and wrong, vs. one busy handing out pardons to family members for their decades of $selling out America = Traitors.

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

Trump’s not threatening the people of Gaza, he’s threatening Hamas, it’s financial backers and ultimately the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The American spooks will just go full contact and for some people, doing something, it will surely become a “hell to pay” kind of situation. All Trump has to do is take a page from Obama’s playbook and get the drones in the air.

Of course, it could all be avoided…

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Trump's sending a clear message of accountability for those who inflict mayhem on civilized society.

I'm glad you realize Iran is going to be held accountable. Next is realizing China is going to be held accountable.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Not if there are troops on the streets he won't. Well I mean he might but it won't have any legitimacy.

Interesting. Why do you believe President Trump would put troops in the streets?

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

What is going on in Gaza is the most documented genocide in history, conducted by the Israel IDF with the support of the US administration providing billions of dollars of weapons.

And Wall Street, with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite yesterday rose to new records.

The heart and soul of American politics driven by the usual US lobbies

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Trump's doing lots of messaging while waiting for Jan 20. Whether drug cartels, illegals, terrorists, markets, tariffs, those in US Govt. etc. Includes geopolitics naturally, MidEast, Russia/Ukraine, Iran, China, NK, etc.

Smart strategy, for controlling expectations and reducing uncertainty within the US and across the globe.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

No, but it’s important for Hamas to understand they aren’t dealing with a limited anti-Israel US government. - bass4funk

"Since the start of Israel's war with Hamas on October 7, 2023, the United States has enacted legislation providing at least $12.5 billion in direct military aid to Israel"

https://www.cfr.org/article/us-aid-israel-four-charts

12.5 billion in direct military aid = anti-Israel government? The highest amount of aid given to Israel in over 40 years. You're not living in the same reality.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

What is going on in Gaza is the most documented genocide in history, conducted by the Israel IDF with the support of the US administration providing billions of dollars of weapons.

The population of Gaza grew 2% in 2023.

Still today despite the worst Jewish loss of life since the Holocaust, 20000 Gazans are allowed to work in Israel every day.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Since when does Sassybray Donny even care about those Israeli hostages, let alone anybody besides himself?

He's already proven time and time again his credibility and worth which is less than zero, so he just needs to shaddup his stupid face and go away.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

What does that even mean? Hamas leaders are all dead. Gaza has been bombed back to the stone-age. Society completely uprooted. Families decimated.

I guess you could just kill everyone in Gaza? Its not like there would be any consequences...

3 ( +4 / -1 )

What does that even mean? Hamas leaders are all dead. Gaza has been bombed back to the stone-age. Society

So who is keeping the hostages if everyone is dead and Gaza has been wiped off the map?

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

People need to realize Trump has his own style, including his media savvy as shown in this article.

"Trump's not everyone's cup of tea" but he gets results, that's why he won the election, people want policies that make it more likely to create good results for them.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Since when does Sassybray Donny even care about those Israeli hostages,

Always. The real question you should be asking is why would this current administration not support Israel,

let alone anybody besides himself?

What?

He's already proven time and time again his credibility and worth which is less than zero,

Half the country doesn’t think so, despite the failed narrative of how evil this guy was supposed to be, it failed miserably.

so he just needs to shaddup his stupid face and go away.

Not for 4 years, he’s just getting warmed up.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Let's hope he is talking about the butcher of Gaza, Netanyahu as well!

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

The population of Gaza grew 2% in 2023.

This statement tells you a lot about the depth of the contest. This is how Netanyahu’s regime is recruiting people, to feed the Israeli propaganda. People with no knowledge spreading what the military tells them to write. No dignity, no morals

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Reading the comments above it seems there’s a lot of Biden/Kamila supporters still in denial. There’s parties where you can go and scream at the ocean for that guys.

Problem is if you had it your way you took the bleeding heart ‘moralist’ approach and kept giving consolations and voice to the jihadist entities playing you like a fiddle, the result would be a long drawn out war that never ends, and by historical accounts does much more damage and creates ten times the misery than a quick one does. All military scholars and strategists say the same thing. You get in quick, hit hard, then get out.

Hamas is staring down the barrel of their final days. Still hijacking food supplies with their guns, still terrorizing their own people, still holding hostages and scurrying around trying to look after themselves.

It will be quick, intense and then it will be done. What should’ve happened from the start.

Little known fact is that Trump's youngest daughter Tiffany, who now pregnant and married into an Arab family, billionaires naturally!

The father of the son-in-law will play a big role in toning down the tension in the region. This same family played a big role in helping Trump win Michigan Nov 5th.

I'd definitely say Trump will bring a balanced approach to the MidEast, peace and prosperity is their agenda!
