Trump knows all about getting his act together...

What the hell some peoples think US should kneel to pighead lunatic fat kid Kim Jong-un's threatening and blaming President Trump for this crisis?

Peoples must understand this N. Korean missile threat is separate issue from the Russian meddling in Presidential election and President Trump problem with Medias.

Why don't you peoples blame the nuclear lunatic fatty Kim Jong-un for provocative and threatening with nuclear weapon and missiles to its neighbors and United State?

There's no use to go back to six nations talk with N. Korea because N. Korea has breaking the agreement many times and taking billions of dollars from S. Korea, Japan and US and other countries. You can't reward for bad behavior. Now time to give lesson to bad boy fatty.

However, the US must direct target to evil fatty and all missiles facilities as well as nuclear facilities at same times. The evil must be destroyed.

KabukiloverToday 02:20 am JSTThis would be a choice time for all concerned to get their act together. This would be a perfect moment to call time out and negotiate. As they say in show biz, "Try it; you'll like it."

North Korea under Kim Jong Un is unlike that under his father or grandfather. Both of whom were at least negotiable, although they didn't keep their word. Under this Kim Jong Un North Korea has stated that their missile and nuclear weaponry advancement is NOT negotiable. So what is all this "let's talk" nonsense? Talk with whom?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

The question is whether tough talk will produce a result that is beneficial to the US. So far we've seen an increase in incidents from NK, Iran, and Russia. That tells me the tough talk has not been effective.

Trump and the US first. He can shake his little hands and talk about things the world... has never... seen... ever... all he wants, but he's setting the worst example of any president in US history, and he has the lowest ratings of any... president... the world... has... seen... to prove it.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Both need to "Get their act together".   Like two mangy dogs trying to best each other in looks.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

He is protecting the world now.

Really? Is he now? Looked to me like he was just accidentally drawing red lines that Tillerson had to walk back.

in this case if you are rooting against Trump and hoping he fails to prevent a missile launch by any means necessary then you are by default rooting for NK to succeed in what they said they will do. No middle ground for liberals to hide in this time.

That's just asinine. Criticizing Trump isn't "rooting" against him. Heck we're hoping this will work out in spite of his gross incompetence. Weak.

Deep state BS. What about India and China? Where are you AP?

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Trump mentioned Guam so NK revealed 14 min. And News in USA stated Guam residents are preparing to safety. Trump tried to scare Kim but Kim took seriously and saying NK is ready for nuke war to attack Guam right now. That is the reason. Guam commanding officer warned residents. One was don't get out from. house at all until notified safe.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

No. The NK regime is shaking in its boots because of Trump's statements. Were a lesser he-man in the White House now, we would all be toast. We are alive. Trump tweeted bigly. Ergo, Trump is our savior.

Bingo!

Thank God the GOP has figured out what a simple place the world is.

Gosh, where you You 8 years ago?

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

NK has significantly increased their missile launches under Trump. And now they are threatening to fire them off the coast of Guam.

Was that the intended impact?

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Have they or have they not done anything? You can try to mock the man all you want but It's a sImple question. How can you guys keep trying to blame someone when there is no evidence what he is doing and saying isn't having it's intended impact?

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

He is protecting the world now. Has NK launched anything since his direct statements to them?

No. The NK regime is shaking in its boots because of Trump's statements. Were a lesser he-man in the White House now, we would all be toast. We are alive. Trump tweeted bigly. Ergo, Trump is our savior.

What a bad guy to try to protect the world from a crazed dictator, huh?

Yeah, let us know when he starts doing that. All we can see mindless machismo meant for the peanut gallery

His own sec state had to walk us back from Trump's inane no more threats red line.

Never thought I would see the day the media, Dems and mcCains of the world side with a foreign power threatening us instead of our president responding to protect us.

That's pretty weak. Pointing out the utter incompetence displayed by the Trump isn't "siding with a foreign power". It's just saying that Trump really should get his act together.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Still praying for the Russia thing. Even Bloomberg is reporting now that it is possible the DNC wasn't even hacked at all because file transfer speed shows it was downloaded locally.

Manafort has now retained an international tax lawyer as Mueller going after all his businesses and even talking to his biz partner and son in law. Getting further and further from Trump himself.

But Trump just trying to avoid all that good news by focusing on NK instead. What a bad guy to try to protect the world from a crazed dictator, huh? Never thought I would see the day the media, Dems and mcCains of the world side with a foreign power threatening us instead of our president responding to protect us.

The North said four of the missiles would hit waters 30 to 40 kilometers (18 to 24 miles) from Guam.

We have their word that the missiles will land in international waters near Guam? We have their word that the missiles won't be armed with nuclear devices? There's no chance of an "oops" moment and a missile or two hit Guam?

The US should ensure that PRK leadership fully understands that missiles launched toward Guam will be considered an act of war and that a response will be immediate, i.e., without waiting to determine if the missiles hit or miss Guam.

Also, since the missiles will fly over Japan, folks in Japan should be concerned because there's always a chance of a "short round" or in-flight failure which results in a missile (or two) crashing onto or exploding over Japan.

That he most definitely is! Take your tin hat off for a day or two, all will be revealed in good time.

Yeah, a rogue FBI investigator with 16 lawyers, 8 of them contributed heavily to Democrats and the rest to neither candidate not even a single Republican. I think the left are the ones that not don tin foil hats, but still use tin foil on their TV antennas.

"North Korea better get their act together, or they are going to be in trouble like few nations have ever been in trouble," Trump said

"Do I have military options? Of course I do. That's my responsibility," Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Wednesday. But he said the Trump administration wants "to use diplomacy."

Reminds me, all these mixed messages, of Wichita Vortex Sutra:

If previous Western Leaders had grown a backbone and dealt with the North Korean issue 10 - 20 years ago DT wouldn't have to now.

You shouldn't blame western leaders. It's always been and always should be about what South Korea wants, and as long as China plays the "long con", there will never be any resolution.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Tough guy Trump in need of attention to distract from his numerous problems

If previous Western Leaders had grown a backbone and dealt with the North Korean issue 10 - 20 years ago DT wouldn't have to now.

He will say nearly anything to create distractions from the evolving Russia narrative (lying about a transgender ban the morning he learned of the Manafort search warrant) or from his legislative failures (blame the Senate for his leadership failures).

Written by someone from the left which is typically lead by unproven comments.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Isn't Trump the guy who likes to mock wrestle opponents and non-opponents like CNN?

He should just do a mock or even a real wrestle with li'l Kim and whoever wins gets all the bragging rights. This can go on for another 4 oops, 3 and half years..

I'd choose an iron cage match

0 ( +1 / -1 )

So this is all Trump just distracting from Russia? Yeah ok then.

He should keep his mouth shut? Ok if he does that then what? They say they have a plan in place and will execute it. So we just stay silent and don't tell them in strong, firm terms why they won't be allowed to do that.

Theh what do we do? Send them a fruit basket?

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

'Get their act together', has all the overtones of a errant child forgetting to finish their chores, or put out the rubbish.

The North Korean Government threats  rhetorically, certainly have dramatic effect  that added wow,  the sit up and take notice blood curdle tongue out boo ho , turn young people into '5 million human bullets', 'blow the US from this planet',' strike the United States with nuclear thunderbolt', or the now classic ‘Sea of Fire’.....

I know levity it hardly appropriate, let's be a tad more pragmatic, had this have been a career politician, there would not be a twitter farce, there would be no fire and fury before bedtime, there could and would have been a decision amounting to and advisory level threat that trigger a all out strike to counter a significant level risk.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

@bass Is Trump in jail at the moment? Has he been convicted of a crime? He is considered innocent as we speak. You confuse "innocent until proven guilty" with "under suspicion". That he most definitely is! Take your tin hat off for a day or two, all will be revealed in good time.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Trump and Kim Jong should just tweet it out... just the two of them.

Seriously though, if Kim is as serious as Trump appears to be, then Guam isn't the only one in trouble. I think Kim will try to take out as many allies as possible, as quickly as possible... I fear for South Korea and Japan.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Letter to NK Kim. Two cliche you need to understand about westerners. 1. President Trump is not your grandfather's or your father's president. 2. Don't bring a knife to a gun fight. You are dealing with the "wild west" attitude. Everyone is concerned, but you need to understand that the President of the United States has the big gun, and, unfortunately for millions of innocent people, is willing to use it. The worst part of all of this is the massive destruction and international call for relief that NK will need.

distract from his numerous problems.

last time I checked, jobs, economy, stock market and deportations all up. And the latest poll shows his approval rating up to 45% so you might want to stop getting your news from comedians and CNN

Tough guy Trump in need of attention to distract from his numerous problems.

As if NK isn't a problem, dear lord......

He will say nearly anything to create distractions from the evolving Russia narrative (lying about a transgender ban the morning he learned of the Manafort search warrant) or from his legislative failures (blame the Senate for his leadership failures).

That's the left narrative, since there is no collusion or any evidence that could really connect Trump with a serious charge of obstructionism, they have to go outwards, into his finances and snatch Manafort and perhaps hopefully get something, even if it means to apply pressure to get him to do what they want for whatever reason. Witch hunt all the way.

This latest round of distractions is just an idiot antagonizing a chained dog.

Only this distraction risks S Korea and Japan. He will not change the situation in any meaningful way and will likely make matters worse with his unhinged and amateurish words.

I doubt that.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

I think the NK regime has it's act together. The problem is that the direction they've chosen is destructive.

Why shouldn't the third fatty have nukes? Because NK is a gulag, the whole miserable country. Kim is the worst dictator since Stalin. He deserves the noose, not nukes.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Who's the hypocrat? Kim Jong Un who pursuits to possess nuclear arms or Donald Trump who possesses nuclear arms? North Korea can't have nuclear arms because of USA, China, Russia, France, UK, India, Pakistan, Israel, (Iran), Italy, Germany, which by the side compromises roughly about 80-90% of world GDP has nuclear arms! It's the biggest and by far the most dishonest/non-transparent hypocrat-club in the world!!

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

The man is willing to use nuclear weapons. Make no mistake about it.

He has a long history and fascination with them

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-40879868

"I've always thought about the issue of nuclear war; it's a very important element in my thought process," Mr Trump said. He called it the "ultimate catastrophe" and compared it to an illness no one wants to talk about it.

*"I believe the greatest of all stupidities is people's believing it will never happen," he continued, "because everybody knows how destructive it will be, so nobody uses weapons. What [expletive]."*

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Trump's reaction to this is very "un-Presidential" and he does look foolish. He should keep his mouth shut.

I do not think these are distractions however. I believe Trump is not fit for office nor capable of handling the responsibilities that goes with it.

In all fairness he has been handed a really crummy situation. The issue of North Korea has been kicked down the road for decades by both U.S. political parties. Inaction and the inability to properly handle this situation has resulted in North Korea now having (or nearly having) the ability to launch an intercontinental ballistic nuclear weapon. This is a country that brazenly kidnapped Japanese nationals, engages in international assassinations (i.e. Kuala Lampur) and has been antagonistic for decades.

I do not see this as a distraction. This is reality and unfortunately North Korea has reached the point of being able to do real damage at the time Trump (incompetent to handle the situation) is in office.

This is a very real problem, not brought on by Trump, however it is scary he is the Commander in Chief at this time.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

The problem with responding to bombastic rhetoric with bombastic rhetoric is that you either need to keep responding every day, or stop. The first makes you look crazy, the second makes you look weak. There's not much of a victory possible down that path.

This is straight out of "Dr. Strangelove." This man is seriously unhinged, as if we didn't already know that.

LOL. Whoever chose this photo deserves a medal. Although it makes it rather confusing as to who needs to get their act together.
