One can appreciate the professionalism and journalistic integrity of this segment. Hmmm.. . How can you look at yourself in a mirror?

One more example, as if any were needed, that Trump and his fellow Republican 'elite' care nothing about the country, only about themselves. And their fat bank accounts.
Trump continues to divide the country.

Trump reinvigorated US politics. That's good.
Sadly, he brought the mental maturity of a 7 yr old who needs a nap.
Mr. President, time to be a big boy now and a gracious loser. I won't be holding my breath for this.

It's fitting with his narcissistic personality that Trump cannot concede defeat, cannot make an apology, cannot accept when he is wrong... Sad. For this reason, he will be remembered as the worst, most destructive president in US history.

If neither of the above gentlemen do not want to the ones to break the bad news to him, I'm more than happy to assist.

And he shouldn't, 71 million people voted for him. He owes it to America to challenge the fraudulent election results. The courts will decide this election.

trump wants to continue to scam the taxpayers with his hotel visits to pay off his 400 millions dollars to Russian oligarchs. He also need more time to protect himself from criminal proceedings. NYC is waiting!
What no has been talking about is trump's Twitter account will no longer be protected by the 'world leader' exemption. He could face removal from the platform for violating 'public interest' policies.
trump is going to play the role of a dictator in exile. Hoping to start a US born ISIS. Facism at its finest.
Putin will be laughing and loving it all at the same time.

A real man would shut up and wait for the results that come from the checks and balances in the system. But Trump is no real man.

December 14th is the date electors meet and designated by state legislatures. Trump can get up to a lot of shenanigans then.

Removing my feelings and emotions related to Trump I would consider the following:
If he has prima facie evidence election fraud has occured then he should not concede and challenge it in court. It would be his duty (or the duty of whoever has such evidence).
If he has no such evidence then he must concede.
Initiating an appeal of the election results without having solid evidence of vote tampering or fraud could cause irreperable damage to the country.
I personally have seen no evidence the allegations are true however being in Japan and considering I am not an election official or involved I would not know if these are true or false.
Because of this and following the presumption of innocence stipulated in U.S. Law I am assuming there is no fraud unless someone can show me proof.

When trump drives back to WH, he will see the scenes of celebrations in the streets.
I cannot think of a better way to make him hurt more....

The one thing that's been shown, again and again and again in these election lawsuits brought by the Trump campaign is that they, quite simply, don't carry any water.
For example, the Pennsylvania lawsuit where the judge darn near threw the Trump team out on their ear after he got a Trump lawyer to admit, on record, that the Trump campaign had observers in the counting rooms, the same as the Biden campaign.
Or the Arizona 'Sharpie' lawsuit, which was dropped after the REPUBLICAN Secretary of State confirmed that using a Sharpie on the vote would not invalidate the votes.
Time and time again all Trump has had to depend on is rumor and the 'big lie.' In his business deals in private life this often worked, he won through battles of attrition. Banks, etc would give in to his bluster and bullying because it was more expensive to defend themselves against the avalanches of BS than to continue to fight it.
But this isn't some subcontractor that Trump's trying to bully out of a contract payment. This isn't even a bank that makes their decisions based off of profit first and foremost. These are state governments and federal election procedures. They will be defended vigorously and factually shown to have been just as secure, safe, and trustworthy as before.
All Trump has to hang his red MAGA hat on is innuendo, and hoping to continue to bluster and con a large enough group of his supporters that he can funnel off more funds into what'll end up attempting to pay off his family's debts once he's out of office.

The GOP, by refusing to congratulate President Elect Biden, is digging its hole even deeper.
The armed thugs that it’s rabble rousers are sending out will be in prison soon. The voter base rapidly shrinking, the GOP will go the way of the fringe groups.

Olusegun Obasanjo, the former president of Nigeria, said President-elect Biden would restore confidence in America’s global role.
“It is victory of good over evil and it is not victory for you and the people of America alone, but victory for most people of the world, majority of whom watch helplessly as the world that had been steadily and painstakingly built since the end of the Second World War was being pulled down,” he said in a statement.

His "legacy" is not gonna change because he keeps doing his show.
January 2021, Jared decides to break the news to his beau-papa :
"Donald, I have to tell you something. Well, this car is not taking us to your second inauguration. Sorry, I could not arrange that but you are no longer POTUS... Please stay calm, otherwise they'll need to sedate you...". Then they open the door, grab Trump and put him the straitjacket.

He does not need to concede. In January he will be dragged out of the White House and dumped on the sidewalk.

Laura Ingraham, a staunch Trump defender, on Friday urged the president, if and when the time came, to accept an unfavorable outcome with "grace and composure,"
The lovely two-faced Laura is howling at the moon if she expects her president to show "grace and composure", the former of which he has never possessed and the latter of which he is incapable of showing. The way Trump is carrying on he's going to be carried out of the WH in a straight jacket (and he won't be invited to the inauguration in January, either).

@Graham: I am not a Trump supporter and I heard the same statement from the head of the Federal Election Commission.
On the other hand Trump's legal team are stating they have evidence of fraud.
If they do have real and true evidence of voter fraud, even though I did not vote for Trump and I am happy with the result I would still like to see it as it would expose another problem in the U.S. which could be manipulated by the opposing party as well.
It almost seems like there are people here who do not want to even hear or listen to the evidence Trump's legal team claims to have and decide for themselves.

Now that it's semi-official - the people of America to Donald Trump: *"You're fired!"** *(If ya guys remember the TV reality show The Apprentice that Trump appeared on with his catchphrase, lol)
So at the end, the election is indeed a landslide........... but to Joe Biden. There's been 45 U.S. Presidents, and Trump would become just the 10th not to win re-election, the 1st since the first George Bush; but the very 1st never to win the popular vote more than once. Trump lost the total votes with a wider margin than last time, but only this time, the Electoral College isn't there to save him.
People already knew Trump is gonna Al Gore Y2K the election, and that is his prerogative. But this time, he actually has to produce hard evidence. He cannot Twitter his way to death out of this one and expect the courts to go along with no proof. The U.S. courts don't work that way.
Not speculations; not re-tweets; not "I saw this video in an internet"; not "How is it possible that..?"; not "I bet this happened and that happened..."
No.
U.S. courts require. Cold. Hard. Evidence.
Send investigators if need be. But they need to come back with evidence. (But also remember when Trump said he sent his investigators to Hawaii to prove that Obama's U.S. birth certificate is fake - but then it turns out that no investigators were sent at all. So who knows if he's actually gonna send investigators)
Even Trump senior advisor, Republican ex-New Jersey governor Chris Christie stated on national TV - It’s Trump’s “right to pursue legal action, but show us the evidence":

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 12,876 times, shame on me.
I think by now we are entitled to draw the adverse influence that absent evidence to the contrary on things like this Trump is lying. I think most of us figured this out when day one of his presidency was spent trying to establish that the crowd size at his inauguration was about twice the size clearly shown in every photo. And this was followed up by an almost daily barrage of similar crap.
If you want to follow him down that rabbit hole then be my guest, but so far this is nothing more than another off the cuff self interested lie Trump has thrown out there with zero evidence to back it up while every reliable source with first hand knowledge is providing extensive evidence to the contrary.
ClippetyClop
Step 1 accomplished. Those lawsuits will be swatted away in due time, then hopefully steps can be taken to investigate Trump's corruption and eventually imprison him, or at least disgrace his 'legacy' forever.

This election is far from over. Biden will make the biggest speech of his life tonight, when you have half of the country very skeptical of how they believe he stole the Presidency. Bottom line is the country is divided and I fear things will get much worse before they get better.

Honourable? The history of the Republican Party over the past half century or more has been one of shamelessly doing anything and everything necessary to get what they want for themselves and their oligarch backers, from Watergate and the Iran-Contra affair to Project Redmap and Swift Boat Veterans For Truth. Trump got elected because his support base was largely cultivated like some noxious bacteria by the likes of Karl Rove for the purpose of guaranteeing perpetual GOP congressional majorities. Individual Republicans may well be decent and honourable, but the party as a whole....?

Understood. I will stick to the approved sources of information I guess.
Even if we agree on the candidate and desired outcome (Biden) we are just going to shut down the other side.
The best solution for the country is to let the process play out because of the opposing argument is not heard there will be a very large and sizeable percentage of the population who will be very upset and a portion of that population may turn to violence.
I do not fear an investigation as I believe it will result in no change to the election results. I also have no issue with Trump or their legal team challenging the results if they really believe they have tangible evidence of fraud.
@zichi - Trump will likely fight until the end but he will cooperate in handing over power as he has no choice. He was (still is until January) an awful President however he would not be so stupid as to interfere with the transition which occurs in January.
If he challenges in court and loses and then continues to argue I believe there are segments of the government who would prepare to ensure the peaceful transition occurs. At that point I would also make the same statement others are making: "We saw your evidence, you are wrong, now leave"....
Al Gore conceded on December 13, 2000. In his statement
I believe Trump will concede (or have to concede) within the month of November.

Their loyalty is to the nation, the Constitution and the office of President, not the person who occupies it. I believe service personnel are also entitled to disobey orders they perceive to be illegal, e.g. from a commander-in-chief who has been legally voted out of the job.

Me too. I'm sure it'll be good for a laugh and a pitying, contemptuous shake of the head. I'm not even sure they'll get to court though. They seem to be having trouble scraping together the money (are rich GOP backers all quietly walking away?), and saner heads among them might review what they've got and realise the judges will throw it out. Maybe not, but it's really not looking as if they have much more to go on than what Trump and Giulliani want to believe.

This unprecedented election roller-coaster has ultimately revealed that 74 million Americans understand that the only fraud of any significance is in the WH which will soon be fumigated, redecorated and restored to its former and proper status as "The People's House" (at least, we, the people, hope). Meanwhile, the sore loser and author of America's four-year scandal fest will have his last chance for a mea culpa before he's evicted, but from all the ungracious comments and angry tweets emanating from the loser it looks unlikely to happen: Trump is what he is. Sad (for America)!
nandakandamanda
So maybe if he shows us proof of fraud as he has shown us his tax returns, we'll really get somewhere.
jack o helen
Of course Trump won't concede because he's so afraid of going to jail. And trust me, he will. He has so many lawsuits and investigations, from allegations of rape, fraud, illegal use of funds, withholding payment for services rendered, and defamation. And I'm sure there are so many others overseas that we don't yet know about. Although he may get out of some of them, it is a guarantee that he won't squiggle his way out of all of them. He loses his immunity from persecution once he leaves office.

His legal team saying they do have evidence could just as easily be an attempt to buy extra time to look for such evidence.

Trump failed multiple times as a Business man.
Trump has failed "for the first time' as President.
Trump is a failure as a Man.
He keeps failing but the brainless will follow him off a cliff.
Trump did not lose the election due to fraud by the Democrats. He lost because he was a fraud of a president.
Those wanting Trump to run again in 2024 should not hold their breath as with all the litigation already facing him and all the additional cases that will now be brought against the Ex president, he may well be serving time in Jail. Or he may have moved to his second home in Russia. He may be up for an order of Lenin medal for services to Russia, who knows.
It is heartening to see the world celebrating Biden's win. And it is very big of Biden to harbor no grudges. He is a better man than I in that regard. Let us hope he can bring the unity to America that he really wants. Some will resist, but he was right, the America that is at its best is the one that works together.

They have always loved the flag. Who said anything about “approved” sources? My point was just that if someone has been blatantly lying about this sort of stuff so consistently for so long, its ridiculous to take it seriously absent evidence to support it. This is made more true by the fact that, in addition to Trump producing no such evidence, there is also a wealth of publicly available evidence refuting it.
