American parents are not going to accept indoctrination in our schools, cancel culture at work, or the repression of traditional faith, culture and values in the public square,” Trump said. “Not anymore.”

What this racist forgets is that a majority of Whites are not racist and will be disgusted by his defense of slavery.

The klan on the other hand......

18 ( +40 / -22 )

What do we expect? The guy even manages to make his signature into a klan meeting.

10 ( +29 / -19 )

No more dog whistling, Trump's saying the quiet parts even louder. It could be some of his followers weren't clear what he meant when he mentioned 'keep the suburbs safe' and talked about 'property values'. The most divisive president in US history.

“The efforts by the president of the United States to use his powers to censor a work of American journalism by dictating what schools can and cannot teach and what American children should and should not learn should be deeply alarming to all Americans who value free speech,” she said.

Trump once again showing his disdain for the US Constitution and free speech. He's a believer in authoritarianism, in the creed of Mussolini and the Austrian whose name can't be mentioned. Say achtung America.

“American parents are not going to accept indoctrination in our schools, cancel culture at work, or the repression of traditional faith, culture and values in the public square,” Trump said. “Not anymore.”

I'd say that pledging allegiance, fetishising a nation and flag, believing in exceptionalism and deliberately ignoring painful history is a form of indoctrination.

“For many years now, the radicals have mistaken Americans’ silence for weakness. But they are wrong,” Trump said.

Translation - far right white nationalists will have their say and pretend that they are victims of reform and progressive ideals. And also pretend that they have kept silent over the decades.

“There is no more powerful force than a parent’s love for their children — and patriotic moms and dads are going to demand that their children are no longer fed hateful lies about this country.”

True. They are going to stand up to your gaslighting and pettiness, your fascist tendencies and divisive rhetoric. They are going to vote you out and then cheer loudly as you languish in a jail of your own making.

Sure, it won't solve the long-term problems of what can be described as a failed state, but it's a start.

12 ( +25 / -13 )

Who votes for this loser?

14 ( +28 / -14 )

> The president’s comments marking the 233rd anniversary of the signing of the Constitution amounted to a defense of white culture and a denunciation of Democrats, the media and others who he accused of trying to indoctrinate school children and shame their parents’ “whiteness.”

And he is completely correct!

-20 ( +12 / -32 )

spoiler: President Trump did nothing tp downplay slavery.

Trumps "base" which the writers of this latest hit piece well know, contains a huge amount who voted for Obama twice. Strange that white supremacists would do that!

The "1619 Project" is pure fabrication as even its race-baiting author, Hannah-Jones admits. Pure revisionist fiction which does nothing but teach young Americans to hate themselves.

Trump has wisely barred the "anti-racism training sessions" which are taught by rabid racists themselves. These critical race theory goons are nothing but hucksters taking advantage of white guilt and tormenting more race division. Its a quick and easy buck.

-21 ( +14 / -35 )

his core base of white voters

How racist! Can't be having that! Have to have a core base of black voters!

Trump, by the way, is going to at least double his black support from 2016.

Who votes for this loser?

Who in their right mind would vote for Harris-Biden? That's like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.

-17 ( +14 / -31 )

"He also argued that America's founding “set in motion the unstoppable chain of events that abolished slavery. . ."

America was a little late to the party on that one. Might want to check the historical record. It would be more accurate to say that America was one of the last hold outs in the unstoppable chain of events that led to the abolition of slavery.

13 ( +22 / -9 )

And people should be surprised with this?

2 ( +11 / -9 )

Not all white voters are in love with trump and not all white voters are klan members. As a matter of fact, its a very small proportion of white Americans that are racist. The core of the American people is good. What trump is doing is raising fear of each other so that the scared klan members vote for its grand pu ba.

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

Trump Whisperers: What message was Trump really trying to push? I don’t want to comment on his exact words until you enlighten all of us.

My money is on us being told “That was just a trap for you stupid Libs and you fell right into it by taking it seriously, ha ha.”

They never tire of that one and it can be attached to anything Trump says, no matter how idiotic.

1 ( +8 / -7 )

Trump knows nothing about American history. There is no doubt in my mind that he has never read the constitution, let alone the declaration of independence or bill of rights.

Nor did the president acknowledge the ongoing fight against racial injustice and police brutality, which has prompted months of protests this year.

That's a complicated issue, and anyone who really wants to solve it needs to really look beyond the surface and the talking points. It all starts from bad laws like the drug laws which disproportionally harm Black people, or the minimum wage law, which also disproportionally harm Black people, or the Common Core act, which also harm Black kids disproportionally more than Whites.

So you have kids who get a lousy education, then they aren't allowed to get a job, because of the minimum wage law, so many of them turn to crimes, which often involves drugs. Because these bad laws destroy the Black community, Black people are more likely to commit a crime, which leads to more encounter with the police, which results in more deadly incidents, but more harmful than that is the general stereotype that gets created of Black people, which leads to police being more prejudiced against them.

On one hand, Trump is right to focus on the economy as a solution, but on the other hand, he doesn't really do even that, since he hasn't made any actual real economic reforms that are needed. He didn't repeal any bad laws, or abolish any of the many harmful agencies that exist.

I suppose he is a bit better in some ways than Biden, but at this point, i can't stand his constant lies. I want him gone.

“The efforts by the president of the United States to use his powers to censor a work of American journalism by dictating what schools can and cannot teach and what American children should and should not learn should be deeply alarming to all Americans who value free speech,” she said.

Not really, he is a pathological exaggerator. He doesn't have the executive power to do any of the things he talks about. If he had ever read the constitution, he would've known that.

-2 ( +7 / -9 )

The left wing media wants everyone divided and fighting with eachother. It's the Democrat strategy to keep people in groups based on race rather than Americans united under the constitution, and bill of rights.

It even took two people to write the article. This is election propaganda, but their propaganda is so hateful and dividing.

-19 ( +8 / -27 )

Why don't you Americans write in a vote for me instead of either of these two buffoons?

I won't lie. I won't raise taxes. I'll work tirelessly to get every Congress Critter (both houses) voted out of office and do my utmost to get people elected who will support term limits. I'll make an executive order to ban all political speeches and advertising except for one week before an election. Vote for me!

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

American parents are not going to accept indoctrination in our schools, cancel culture at work, or the repression of traditional faith, culture and values in the public square,” Trump said. “Not anymore.”

Nonsense. They have been accepting and even lauding and loving all the above for a long time now, and that's on both sides of the American political spectrum. All I can hope from Trump's words is that reverse psychology will kick in and the American left/ Democrats/ liberals will start fighting all that coming from their side and not just what comes from the American right/ Republicans/ conservatives. How many times have I been the only one complaining about lies and omissions in American history books? How many times have I been the only one saying people should not lose their jobs over a tweet? How many times have I been the only one to point out that many communities are held together by religion even if I personally don't like certain religious beliefs?

I hate Trump but I hope he wakes y'all up in his backward way.

But he did not mention the 246 years of slavery in America, including the 89 years it was allowed to continue after the colonies declared independence from England.

Oh, that's a good one! I have pointed out many times that the Confederacy had only 4 years of slavery for its short existence and the Union had it until AFTER the Civil War. But oh no! Everyone wants to lay all slavery at the feet of the Confederacy! Sick of it. Its exactly the indoctrination I complain about. Slavery was all American, and if you cannot own it and still love America despite that ugly wart you are no patriot.

Just bear in mind that loving America often means hating and disobeying the government okay?

1 ( +7 / -6 )

Trump once again showing his disdain for the US Constitution and free speech.

But it seems like Liberals want to drown his free speech, why is that? Why the hypocrisy?

He's a believer in authoritarianism, in the creed of Mussolini and the Austrian whose name can't be mentioned. Say achtung America.

Nonsense, the Democrats are the ones are the ones threatening the country by saying, if the country votes for Trump, we will continue to riot, there’s your real authoritarian rule.

-10 ( +8 / -18 )

1619 project is utter trash - thoroughly debunked by ACTUAL historians.

-6 ( +10 / -16 )

Trump is most likely betting he can get enough white people to believe they are victims in this country to vote for him.

4 ( +10 / -6 )

I'd say that pledging allegiance, fetishising a nation and flag, believing in exceptionalism and deliberately ignoring painful history is a form of indoctrination.

How? The man has done more to help blacks than the last 3 Presidents, that’s the greatest gift you can give, mobility, prosperity and dependence, something Democrats have not given blacks across the board.

Translation - far right white nationalists will have their say and pretend that they are victims of reform and progressive ideals. And also pretend that they have kept silent over the decades.

For the few nut jobs out there that try and stay relevant it’s probably true.

Well, looks like Trump is gaining more black support especially from black men as well as Latinos, they understand this President has tried to undo the historic racist policies that have sadly kept so many blacks down in Democrat more affluent controlled States for years.

Who votes for this loser?

Definitely not the ones that support segregation.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

We just don’t want to be doing it at home, but we may have no choice if Trump loses in November.

Civil War has been scheduled for mid-November, regardless of which team wins.

There are already armed Americans patrolling the streets and sometimes murdering each other.

Thats the result of electing a leader as inept as Trump, so that they could troll America. It will serve them right when they see civil war in the streets in November as a result (again regardless of which team wins).

I never thought I’d watch the fall of the American empire during my life.

2 ( +8 / -6 )

Trump is most likely betting he can get enough white people to believe they are victims in this country to vote for him.

He may very well be right. I wouldn’t bet against him on it.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

Trump keep dividing America. Too bad!

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

i think Trump is doing all he can to quit, he doesn’t want a 2nd term but wants to be able to blame Biden and an election for why he is so terrible at his job

He has no idea what he is or should be doing, every single day there are more lies and outrages.

The Presidency was just a vanity project for him.

if America can’t take the hint...well....

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

it seems like Liberals want to drown his free speech,

Please explain what actions "liberals" have taken to do this.

The man has done more to help blacks than the last 3 Presidents,

Please explain what actions Trump has taken to do this. (Hint: "lowest black unemployment rate" is not an action.)

4 ( +9 / -5 )

Oh I see....now its "America" so they can claim the time before there was even a United States.

But he did not mention the 246 years of slavery in America, including the 89 years it was allowed to continue after the colonies declared independence from England.

The descendant of a slave owner is the VP candidate for the Dems, right? or is that inconvenient and not to be mentioned?

-8 ( +6 / -14 )

so in other words the media is starting to realize that 20% Black vote for Trump means Biden loses and that 20% is becoming more likely due to historic level Biden weakness with the Black (and Hispanic) Dem voters.

So have to say that support for our Constitution is now "downplaying the legacy of slavery in appeal to white people".

-4 ( +7 / -11 )

The descendant of a slave owner is the VP candidate for the Dems, right? or is that inconvenient and not to be mentioned?

It's not mentioned because it is irrelevant. Unlike the content of one's speech, one's ancestry is beyond one's control.

It's odd that this would have to be pointed out to you.

5 ( +10 / -5 )

The American Civil War in the 1860s led to the abolishment of slavery and became the U S Constitution's 13th Amendment.

https://www.archives.gov/historical-docs/13th-amendment

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Because of course he did.

And as someone who previously taught American history at a Jr. college in Japan, I can comfortably state that it wasn’t the Constitution that set the United States irrevocably on the path to freedom of Slavery. It was the Civil War which resulted in the utter and complete military, political and economic destruction of the Confederacy.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

uh huh. Im quite sure this wouldnt be the case if the Trump family had owned slaves.

It's not mentioned because it is irrelevant. Unlike the content of one's speech, one's ancestry is beyond one's control

-10 ( +3 / -13 )

It's odd that this would have to be pointed out to you.

They’re grasping because the entire world has realized what a complete and utter failure trump is. They’re trying to defend the fact that they elected this loser over Hillary whom anyone over 80 IQ now knows would have been a superior president.

4 ( +10 / -6 )

Please explain what actions Trump has taken to do this. (Hint: "lowest black unemployment rate" is not an action.)

I have done this so many times, but let’s flip this around, how have Democrats helped blacks over the last 60 years?

-8 ( +6 / -14 )

“For many years now, the radicals have mistaken Americans’ silence for weakness. But they are wrong,” Trump said. “There is no more powerful force than a parent’s love for their children — and patriotic moms and dads are going to demand that their children are no longer fed hateful lies about this country.”

As a Trump supporter, I fully applaud this effort. Just think, our kids will no longer be taught the fairy tale that we stole this country from the American Indians...we bought it fair and square - for trinkets...

And that bunk about slavery - never happened! Africans wanted to come here and work, just like Mexicans do today...

And women never wanted to vote until 1920...they were too busy working in the kitchen...

So let's get the facts out with a State-ordered curriculum - I hear China has a model that we could use...our President is great friend's with President Xi - I'm sure he'd be glad to help...

-1 ( +6 / -7 )

This child knows he's on his way out. He's just making as much trouble so that Biden will have a big mess to deal with come January. No matter what, this deranged child is going to jail.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

“There is no more powerful force than a parent’s love for their children

That's rich coming from the spoiled son of Fred Trump's twisted parenting and heir to his monstrous ego. Sins of the father... etc.

— and patriotic moms and dads are going to demand that their children are no longer fed hateful lies about this country.”

What proof of "patriotism" or knowledge of his country's history has the world-famous ignoramus Trump ever evinced in word or deed?

And as for "hateful lies", it's more than a record-breaking 20,000 and counting. Even H.C. Andersen couldn't have invented a tale of such a two-faced hypocrite.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

As a Trump supporter, I fully applaud this effort. Just think, our kids will no longer be taught the fairy tale that we stole this country from the American Indians...we bought it fair and square - for trinkets...

Most of these kids in the US on the streets don’t know where Tibet is or where Namibia is on the map, but they know a lot about Marxism, BLM and radical far left movements, so what are these kids learning? Reading, writing and critical thinking doesn’t seem to be part of the curriculum anymore.

-2 ( +7 / -9 )

Why the need.... when .5 Million American whites died to end Slavery. Not enough? No? More reparation money for the nth time..... and affirmative action. Not enough a black person was elected president (who cannot win by just black votes alone).... and many more in positions of power in public office.....Govs, Mayors, Police chiefs (male or female). There are black billionaires like Oprah, Jordan and highest paid athletes. Where is the racism there?

Yet some strange outcry erupts.... when a group of people hits maturity (every new generation).... demanding an apology and compensation about some Historical event about....sex slavery, force labor, colonization etc...... which has gone on forever like an annoying long-playing-broken record..... in perpetuity.

What is today's generation have anything to do with it..... and ought to be unjustly penalized?

Of course it will never end..... for people who must exploit it for political, monetary gain......and of course to hold on to power and control. So blatantly obvious.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Most of these kids in the US on the streets don’t know where Tibet is or where Namibia is on the map

You don't need to know about where countries are on a map to be successful, as President Trump has proven.

but they know a lot about Marxism, BLM and radical far left movements

Cool. Marxism is great, as is the BLM movement.

so what are these kids learning? Reading, writing and critical thinking doesn’t seem to be part of the curriculum anymore.

You only become a Marxist through reading, writing and critical thinking.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

Why the need.... when .5 Million American whites died to end Slavery. Not enough?

? It clearly was enough, since slavery ended.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Well, looks like Trump is gaining more black support especially from black men as well as Latinos, they understand this President has tried to undo the historic racist policies that have sadly kept so many blacks down in Democrat more affluent controlled States for years.

https://edition.cnn.com/2018/08/18/politics/poll-of-the-week-trump-black-voters/index.html

Why are you citing a poll from August 2018, a few months before the GOP lost the mid-terms, as evidence that Trump's support among minorities in 2020 has risen?

2 ( +5 / -3 )

What this racist forgets is that a majority of Whites are not racist and will be disgusted by his defense of slavery.

He also argued that America's founding “set in motion the unstoppable chain of events that abolished slavery, secured civil rights, defeated communism and fascism and built the most fair, equal and prosperous nation in human history.”

That doesn't sound like what a racist would say. Just because you say he is a racist doesn't mean he is. Show us a quote that supports your claim. The quote above suggests the opposite.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

What this racist forgets is that a majority of Whites are not racist and will be disgusted by his defense of slavery.

What Trump actually said:

He also argued that America's founding “set in motion the unstoppable chain of events that abolished slavery, secured civil rights, defeated communism and fascism and built the most fair, equal and prosperous nation in human history.”

That doesn't sound like what a racist would say. Just because you say he is a racist doesn't mean he is. Show us a quote that supports your claim. The quote above suggests the opposite.

Preach the truth fellow Trump supporter....

Let's get the truth out there - we didn't loot and kill indigenous Americans then push the remnants out into the desert, there was no slavery in the US, we didn't lock up American citizens of Japanese descent...all a bunch of Liberal fairy tales....

Let's teach them facts - the KKK helped integrate America...and these are "very fine people"...

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Actually Democrats did, it factually happened during the lifetime of people who are still living.

we didn't lock up American citizens of Japanese descent

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

The quote above suggests the opposite.

The quote above is wrong.

America's founding “set in motion the unstoppable chain of events that abolished slavery,

Countries that aren't the US abolished slavery first. The founding of the USA is not a prerequisite to ending slavery. Given that the UK abolished slavery in 1832, if we hadn't won the War of Independence, slavery in the British American colonies, as they would be, would have been abolished 30 years earlier.

secured civil rights,

Many in the US are denied their civil rights.

Half of you guys spend your entire time crying about "Communist China", so clearly it wasn't defeated. Fascism also hasn't been: there's a fascist in the White House.

built the most fair, equal and prosperous nation in human history.”*

The US is one of the most unequal societies in the world today.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Regardless of Trump, every non-American I know now sees the USA as a laughing stock and we wish it would stop exporting its divisive, toxic politics to the rest of the world.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

And?

Everywhere you turn now we're told how evil white people are, how only whites can be racist, how we need to "de-colonize" everything, but how Europe needs to be "diverse" (diversity for thee, but not for me), how whites speaking is condescending but "white silence is violence", etc.

People have had enough, and BLM and the Dems are creating legions of racists out of whites who a year ago didn't even give the subject much thought.

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

Regardless of Trump, every non-American I know now sees the USA as a laughing stock and we wish it would stop exporting its divisive, toxic politics to the rest of the world.

Over the past four years, as I've visited 26 countries and talked to people in all of them, the feeling of people around the world went from surprise/shock, to anger, to apathy, to pity. Trump has truly made America the laughing stock of the world. He's the only leader in history to get laughed at by the world during a WTO speech!

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Just to put things in context.

Segregationist South (White Slave Owners) .... were the forerunners of the Democratic Party.

The Ku Kux Klan is the para-military arm of the Democratic Party.

US Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia served in the senate for 51 years among the brightest Democratic star in the Senate.... like old Joe who served for 47 years.

He was a grand duke of the Ku Kux Klan.

He was never called a racist because he was a Dem. .......what? wait a second.

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

--It's not mentioned because it is irrelevant. Unlike the content of one's speech, one's ancestry is beyond one's control

Im quite sure this wouldnt be the case if the Trump family had owned slaves.

Nobody would care if Trump's ancestors had owned slaves. If your family has been in America for a certain number of generations, you're bound to have a slave-owning ancestor. Especially if you're black, since some of your female ancestors would have been raped by their white male owners.

Your calculation:

Donald Trump is not a racist despite countless actions throughout his life that show that he is.

Kamala Harris is a racist for no other reason than she possibly is descended from a slave owner.

Smooth logic, Black.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

You don't need to know about where countries are on a map to be successful, as President Trump has proven.

And yet, the majority of Americans can’t even make over 30K a year, so Trump must be doing something right. No one on JT has a building in their name or reached the Presidency here.

Cool. Marxism is great, as is the BLM movement.

And the people are getting real tired of these frauds increasingly.

You only become a Marxist through reading, writing and critical thinking.

Or indoctrination which most kids are nowadays. No wonder Dems hate school choices.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

The Ku Kux Klan is the para-military arm of the Democratic Party.

It is? Tell me more, Alex Jones.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

if the "Trump is a racist" line of attack actually were true- he would have lost last time, right?

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

And yet, the majority of Americans can’t even make over 30K a year, so Trump must be doing something right.

President Donald Trump: keeping the majority of Americans under 30k a year.

In charge and winning!

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Nobody would care if Trump's ancestors had owned slaves. If your family has been in America for a certain number of generations, you're bound to have a slave-owning ancestor. Especially if you're black, since some of your female ancestors would have been raped by their white male owners.

Why is it that blacks don’t get angry about black tribe elders that sold slaves to whites? And white people that have immigrated to the US over the last 30 years do they need to pay reparations as well? I’m generously curious how that’s all supposed to worked. BLM is not clear on this.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

John McCain was, supposedly, just for being descended from a slave owner. Did the rules change now for political purposes?

Not saying she is racist, saying she is on the wrong side to be a victim. which is what is necessary in the Democratic party these days, victimhood.

She is proud of Jacob Blake, so I guess she can try to transfer his victimhood to herself long enough to become President.

Kamala Harris is a racist for no other reason than she possibly is descended from a slave owner.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

if the "Trump is a racist" line of attack actually were true- he would have lost last time, right?

Review the expression 'tyranny of the majority', the greatest fear many have had of US elections from its beginnings. The US - for now - remains a white majority nation.

Recall roughly 67% of white males voted for Trump in 2016, 50% of white females.

This election Trump's trying to keep that same majority to keep his tyrannic reign in power for himself, his family, his fellow 'elites' and for the white nationalists in his base.

Throughout his life Trump has shown disdain for those he considers 'others', especially those not from his wealth and ethnic demographic.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

if the "Trump is a racist" line of attack actually were true- he would have lost last time, right?

The sore losers are still contesting that win to this day......he is a racist.....he cheated.... Electoral college must be dismantled.

The crying just never ends.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

Literally no-one is contesting Trump's victory in 2016.

most people who vote for Biden will also be white then. as he is failing horribly with the Black and Hispanic vote.

these Biden voters would be the non racist white people, but who also voted for a white guy too, correct?

No one on JT has a building in their name

Speak for yourself. I do.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

most people who vote for Biden will also be white then.

Yeah, probably, since the majority of the US is white. I imagine Biden's white voters will be a plurality, though.

as he is failing horribly with the Black and Hispanic vote.

You've proven before that you don't understand how polls work, especially when it comes to racial breakdowns. I'll remind you again: 6% and 15% are not the same.

these Biden voters would be the non racist white people, but who also voted for a white guy too, correct?

A very strange conclusion to draw.

I'm not sure who you're referring to. I've never been a "die hard" follower of any of these outlets - indeed, I'm barely a casual follower.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

not when you claim that every white person (and every minority too, somehow) who votes for Trump is a "racist".

But white people who vote for the other white guy, are somehow not racist at all.

A very strange conclusion to draw.

then add the 10% of Obama voters who voted for Trump in 2016 and who will do the same in 2020.

Did they suddenly become "racist" right after voting for the first Black president? strange narratives all around.

As a Trump supporter, I just find it hard to believe the Libs here think Black Americans won't overwhelmingly support our Grand Wiz....er.....I mean President Trump. He gave the Medal of Freedom to a guy that told a Black female caller "take that bone out of your nose and call me back"... Now that's respect for Black folks....

And just look at all the Blacks faces in these far-right pro-Trump militia groups - with their pickups and Confederate flags - I mean Kyle Rittenhouse could be a Black man.....maybe....

He helped heal our division after Charlottesville with that great Lincoln-esque speech - "There are very fine people, on both sides"...

Yep, Trump is our guy - he's more Black than Obama....

Review the expression 'tyranny of the majority', the greatest fear many have had of US elections from its beginnings. The US - for now - remains a white majority nation.

And will be for quite awhile for at least another 40 years, is that bad? What’s wrong with being white?

Recall roughly 67% of white males voted for Trump in 2016, 50% of white females.

Ok now we are falling into the realm of sad and pathetic garbage...

This election Trump's trying to keep that same majority to keep his tyrannic reign in power for himself, his family, his fellow 'elites' and for the white nationalists in his base.

Throughout his life Trump has shown disdain for those he considers 'others', especially those not from his wealth and ethnic demographic.

Even commenting on that last rant is demonstrably hilarious as well as just dumb.

Did Trump get white people to feel like victims yet?

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Some want to argue Trump isn't a racist.

I don't care for the argument, but what is clear, is that he has many white supporters who are racist, making him 100% complicit in racism in the United States of America.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

But white people who vote for the other white guy, are somehow not racist at all.

Once again an extremist perspective, all or nothing, dividing groups into one side or the other, the same approach used at beer hall rallies.

Message to DT: You can swing those haymakers but you are not connecting with anyone except people like you and you are all a dying breed.

Showing now racist is not gonna get more white votes. He already has all the hillbillies. If he just took a minute to watch BLM demonstrations, he would notice over have of them are young and white. They not gonna vote for him!

It's not like white supremacists are voting for the Kamala Harris ticket.

The dangerous embarrassment currently occupying the White House is clueless about how We the People of the United States of America feel about this and most other issues.

Just to put things in context.

Segregationist South (White Slave Owners) .... were the forerunners of the Democratic Party.

The Ku Kux Klan is the para-military arm of the Democratic Party.

Just to clarify that context for you. This has been disproven again and again and again.

That’s how trump could win, can’t fix gullible.

The best approach is to teach a few basic context-giving facts - slavery was global and had been around for thousands of years , practiced by nearly all the major civilizations, and that the Transatlantic trade is one chapter in a very long book.

More facts: It was stamped out globally in a movement spearheaded by Britain, (apart from much of the Muslim world, which insisted on practicing it well into the 20th century).

Introducing a broad context is the way to give a correct understanding of an extensive historical phenomenon, inside of using a narrow version of events designed to create division.

"America was a little late to the party on that one."

Not really. The Northern states started abolishing slavery from the late 1700s. By the 1820s, slavery was illegal throughout the North.

By comparison, Saudi Arabia maintained it until 1962. Many countries and regions were "late to the party," but the US was not one of them.

Did Trump get white people to feel like victims yet?

And yet BLM are the ones causing most of the structural damage along with Antifa who are supposedly, the oppressed white people.

Once again an extremist perspective, all or nothing, dividing groups into one side or the other, the same approach used at beer hall rallies.

Liberals are doing a good job at eat. Wonder how many Trump supporters are going into restaurants thrashing peoples food all over the place and tossing it around. Get back to me on that one please.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

Reading about the imaginary 'liberals' so many Trump supporters are haunted by makes it easier for me to see why they actually believe alien reptiles are running pizza parlors.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

the insistence to paint Trump as a racist is directly linked to the narrative that "non racists cant vote for a racist", so if you vote Trump, you are a racist too. voter shaming and voter suppression at it finest. (if liberals can make it "true" that Trump actually is a racist when he is not, that is)

Otherwise the supposedly racist Trump had a 12 year hit TV show, was on Oprah Winfrey many times, has his name on numerous hotels and resorts and was the subject of hundreds of admiring rap songs prior to 2016. Was friends with all of the influential Black politicians and businessmen of his day.

Not many consequences to being a racist at all, right? So maybe the actual truth is that he isnt a racist- thats why all those positive things could happen?

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

those people arent voting at all. Too busy rioting, looting and burning.

If he just took a minute to watch BLM demonstrations, he would notice over have of them are young and white. They not gonna vote for him!

The president’s comments marking the 233rd anniversary of the signing of the Constitution amounted to a defense of white culture and a denunciation of Democrats, the media and others who he accused of trying to indoctrinate school children and shame their parents’ “whiteness.”

Typical exercise in misinformation. Trump did not "accuse" them of indoctrinating them like this, this is a declared goal of the "1619 project" and the the whole "critical race theory" movement. Maybe some people are still unaware of it, but anybody who has looked at books like "White fragility" and the content of the various "antiracism" programs being pushed on companies and institutions knows what Trump is referring to.

The only systemic racism in America is forcibly hiring people just for being black for the sake of "diversity" instead of giving jobs to people who have earned them.

There absolutely is a push by media and Democrats to shame people for their whiteness, which is extremely racist. Have you not seen the video of a woman told to get on her knees to apologize for being white? Have you not seen the outcry if anyone dares say "it's okay to be white"?

Trump said America's founding “set in motion the unstoppable chain of events that abolished slavery, secured civil rights, defeated communism and fascism and built the most fair, equal and prosperous nation in human history.” This is true, there is nothing wrong with what he said. Stop trying to twist everything to meet your agenda. He said a nice thing, and you're complaining about something he didn't say because you wanted him to say it.

Trump is not racist and I fully support him. He is one of the greatest world leaders, fighting for peace and prosperity.

I certainly am. Could you link me to a 1619 Project document or critical race theorist that’s says “one of our goals is to indoctrinate school children and shame their parents’ whiteness”?

Or are you making things up again?

No, it hasn't. There are only the inaccurate claims that these facts have been disproven.

I see Trump and Putin are on the same page. Putin built Patriots Park to remind everyone how wonderfully patriotic Soviet Union was/is and no mention of millions of citizens who have died in Stalin's concentration camps.

but anybody who has looked at books like "White fragility"

I'd also like to just mention that I love this admission of Trump supporters' means of learning things. They don't read books, they just... look at them. It's okay, guys, reading won't hurt you.

WOW, so all the blacks got the top exec jobs then. In that case, why slams are full of jobless black people?

Hollywood / TV personalities / NBA/NFL players / MSM - one would think this would be more than enough to defeat Trump and his ( mostly white ) supporters but ( fortunately or unfortunately depending on whose side you are ) that’s not enough. the majority of American population is ( still ) white and most of them proud to be white. Trump knows that (I mean who doesn’t?). you don’t make millions of white ( conservative / or just tired of all the democratic establishment bs, racist, whatever you wanna call them ) American voters disappear because of some propaganda. now add that to the fact that Biden is the democratic nominee ( seriously ).

She never said that. And yes, she knows far more than you.
