2 extremists out of millions, so they're all bad. Great logic there Wc. White people must really scare the hell out of you then.

I'm sure alot more people are embracing that Muslim ban too. There have bee 2 arrest recently of "Extremist" granted asylum in the US. This shows clearly that they'ye not all "widows and orphaned children" like Obama claims.
Just in. A police officer in Philadelphia was nearly murdered by an "islamic extremists." Must see this link:

Keep them out of the USA Trump!

Trump is doing very well with the fearful. I guess I'm just not afraid.

@maglev101 and the reason it got rescinded is, Japan used the Chinese Exclusion Act as a propaganda tool to get China to fight on the Japan side. So we repealed it sheepishly in 1943.

. . . . jeee, I don't know which is crazier. Blocking muslims from travelling into the US or inviting tens of thousands of islamic refugees into the US where they are not welcome.
Ask the Germans. Who had a little incident recently in which some muslims sexually assaulted some new year revelers. Look at the thousands of islamic men roaming the streets in frustration. Crazy? Obama must be whacked out his mind to allow them into the US.
How would Abe look if let in 10-20 thousand refugees and they these islamic men went on groping sprees across Japan?

I see what Trump is trying to do and agree to some extent but I believe this might be precisely what ISIS want, it could make recruiting easier for them.

Republican pollster Frank Luntz, at times a Trump critic, predicted the new ad would help Trump among the slice of Republican voters who participate in early voting contests.
“This may not be a majority position in the country,” Luntz said of the Muslim ban. “It may not even be a majority position within the Republican Party, but among those who will vote in the caucuses and the primaries it is a popular position, and he will benefit from it.”
Crazy is, as crazy does. Does that beat crazy? Trump does. So. Yeah!

If we look at all the terrorist attacks happening in Europe, and the sexual assaults of indigenous European women by Islamic migrants (take Cologne for example), Trump is on to something.
Limiting immigration from Islamic nations would seem to be a very sensible strategy. Europe should have done it a long time ago.

Too funny: Trump's add epicts dozens of people running through the desert and trying to climb over a wall. Unfortunately, the wall is in Morocco and the people are trying to get into a Spanish enclave in Morocco called Melilla. And there is a wall there, but it isn't having much of an effect.
Again we see Trump and his supporters don't care about what is actually true. They care about what is personally true. To Trump and his supporters, the point is 'illegals' are pouring into "their country," and it needs to stop.
You can see how this nativism, cock-eyed and willfully ignorant attitude towards, well, life primarily appeals to old, white and uneducated Americans. They and their apologists would have you believe their anger at 'loosing their country' should be appreciated, if not understood.
My reply: oh, I get it. And I 'appreciate' it. Here's how:
As far as I'm concerned, if you support Trump, it is because you are ignorant, nativist, and unjustifiably willful. I get you just fine. I just like you. Because you are anti-American.

So do obama / kerry when they invited tens of thousands of islamic refugees into the US. Some of them, young, healthy, islamic bearded men shouting, "God is Great." If their god is great they can sing to that tune in their own country- not the US.
The ones with images of ISIS flags on their smart phones' screen savers. Uh, huh, nope, no way. Not in america.
Exactly. Call it what it is. Without fear or favor . . . too bad the incumbent administration cannot wear this shoe. They don't know, "whats going on" -obviously. This is why Putin was able to shove the incumbent administration to the side regarding the mess in Syria / ISIS.
This is why French bombers are in the air and France is protecting its borders now more than ever. Eastern Europe is a mess thanks to Merkel.

Got anything to substantiate that or are you just communicating out of an orifice other than your mouth?
maglev101
This is reminiscent of the racist Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882. Got kicked out, after building the railroad.

So they are somewhat damned if they do, damned if they don't.
Good news is there are more US citizens that appear to be willing to vote for an independent presidential candidate than ever before. Thankfully most Independent leaning people are not stupid enough to vote for Trump (should he ever try). A co-worker stated that now is probably the best time for a candidate to run as independent as most people are anti-establishment towards both the Dems and Repubs.
nath
If he loses the party nomination, he may choose to run as an independent, which would be the nail in the coffin for the republicans. It would split their vote.
So they are somewhat damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Not so. He never stood a chance from the beginning, at least in the general election. The question of how much damage he would do to the GOP during his flameout has been extended to how much it will extend to whatever reputation the US had retained internationally. How he handles his defeat - and more importantly, how the GOP does - will be interesting to watch.
gogogo
Nail in the coffin for Trump, he lost because of this.
GalapagosnoGairaishu
This is a classic example of demagoguery that will eventually wind up in college textbooks.
Kurobune
Xenophobic blowhard !
nath
Trump will drop out when he loses in Iowa, New Hampshire and SC. He doesn't even maintain a campaign HQ, indicating his real level of commitment.
PTownsend
Please provide a specific example of Obama using an outright lie in his advertising.

PTTownswend:
Well, that is the recipe that the US liberals have used so successfully for many years. Is the Obamaleteriat upset that someone steals their playbook?
theeastisred
This is reminiscent of the 'star wars' fantasy that Reagan literally dreamed up while napping at his desk, and yet somehow people took it seriously!
CrazyJoe
Fomenting and pandering to illusory grievances is the left's bread and butter.

Trump’s advert preys on the fears of the Trumpenproletariat and is one more sign the US electoral process is sinking to even lower depths. What’s worrisome is that its nadir has probably not yet been reached, that even uglier politicking lies ahead.
The cheap clothes magnate knows which memes will further engage and enrage his followers. In the advert he uses pictures of the San Bernardino terrorists shown immediately after a picture of Hillary and President Obama (two people deemed negative in the eyes of Trump's sexist and racist supporters) and ISIS, plus a grainy video of humans scurrying over a fence suggesting unwanted ‘aliens’ illegally entering the US in great numbers. That the video was shot in Morocco is ‘irrelevant’ in his words.
As a marketer, he’s learnt from Goebbels and Madison Avenue; he knows that truth isn’t important when it comes to convincing the market segment he’s trying to reach. He knows by using memes that keep fear and anger alive he can continue to appeal to the disenfranchised white nationalists, the Trumpenproletariat, so far his biggest supporters.

Another "pants on fire" award for Trump, but not that it will matter; his core supporters are not known to be part of the reality-based community.

Just sounds so....unplanned and fuzzy.
Not condemned by Ted Cruz.

Welcome to the American election process!
