This criminal is such a waste of space! When he isn't causing problems for the country and the rest of the world, he is heading to his vacation properties to to hide from his failures and rob tax payers of their hard earned money.
Dump has wasted over 100 million dollars and counting!

except those parts of the US and 'foreign' media that are for him. Unless Scaramucci's using the alt right's definition of 'media' which in their glossary means outlets not supporting the alt right agenda.
Trump's divided the nation much more than any president in history.
The Avenger
I don't blame him for playing golf sometimes, considering the fact that the White house is bugged to oblivion.

The worry, as the article said, is Trump won't have as much adult supervision while he's away on his latest taxpayer funded (and profitable for Trump Inc.) golf outing. By the way, didn't Trump say unlike Obama he wouldn't be playing golf?

2016: When he was campaigning President Trump frequently bashed President Obama for playing golf and said that he would be too busy to play. Per a HuffPost article he said, “I love golf, but if I were in the White House, I don’t think I’d ever see Turnberry again. I don’t think I’d ever see Doral again,” he told a rally audience in February 2016, referring to his course near the Miami airport. “I don’t ever think I’d see anything. I just want to stay in the White House and work my ass off.”
As can be seen in the chart below from trumpgolfcount.com, Trump has played at least 88 rounds of golf since he became President, has likely played 139 and has visited golf courses over 193 days. These compare to Obama’s 76 outings over the same timeframe.
The Great Orange Buffoon caught lying again...
Enjoy your golf Donnie - its on our dime - and give our best wishes to all those undocumented immigrants you employ there...

Trump owns the golf course and it’s close by.
Hes not flying out the whole family to Hawaii.

Melania is looking good as always.
summer storms loom
Yeah, we might even get some thunderstorms.
Unlike other embattled incumbents at this point in their terms, Trump does not face a serious primary challenge.
Pffft! Trump isn't the one embattled here, it's the Democrats who don't have a candidate who can get nominated who can beat Trump. It'll probably either be Biden or Buttigieg. Neither can beat Trump. The only one who would have a shot is Tulsi Gabbard but she won't get nominated.
Wait... what if... nah, she wouldn't dare... or would she?! Anyone know who "she" is?

Do you have to be convicted of a crime to be a criminal.
What?
Every single day that border remains open cost taxpayers millions you looking at costing each person close to two grand a week just to care for these people who are not even citizens of the US, now that’s a crime. By the way aren’t you Democrats going on vacation to right now?
The Democrats have wasted a lot more than that.
bass4funk
There is no foreign media that is for this president, well a few, the Guardian pretty much is more less neutral to the president, but that’s about it.
I think you mean more like fair and balanced something that the liberal media just refuses to be
Sorry, Trump was not the person that divide the nation, that division was started way back in 1998, but it did intensify from 2004 and then during the last eight years.
Jimizo
The idea of comparing one man to an entire group is evidently something you still see as useful.
By the way, can you post that link to the source showing that Obama played more golf than Trump?
jack o helen
Trump owns the golf course and it’s close by.
But it still doesn't take away the fact that it costs millions of dollars per trip just to pay for things like transportation, Coast guard service (to guard the waters surrounding places like "Mar-a-lago"), a Secret Service mobile office, ballistic glass, etc. There is also the ethical issue of promoting his properties while he visits them. And it doesn't take away the fact that he outright lied when he said he wouldn't waste time playing golf if he were president.
Jimizo
He spends so much time playing golf he’s reached the standard where he can hit a moving target ( Hillary Clinton walking up stairs ).
He should have promised to spend less time tweeting trash and lies. Then again, that would have been a lie too.
Jimizo
No, it isn’t. The Guardian is scathing towards Trump. The opinion pieces shred him as a racist. The majority people who read that paper wouldn’t accept anything less.
I’m on the left and I saw the Guardian as a decent newspaper, but now I see it as a shrill, posturing liberal ( UK sense of the word ) semi-tabloid which virtue signals at every opportunity. There are a some minds left on that paper who I follow but not too many.
The Telegraph, the Times or the Daily Mail are far more accepting of Trump. Your knowledge of the just the UK media, let alone the ‘foreign media’, leads me to think you are totally unqualified to comment on the ‘foreign media’.
bass4funk
I feel the exact same about a lot of the foreign media ans foreigners commenting on the US, but it is cute and entertaining, I’ll give them that. Lol
Sneezy
I read the Guardian as I find it to be a far better source of information than most of the US media, and it's openly hostile to Trump. It's a well known left of center website/paper. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Jimizo
Claiming that the Guardian is neutral on Trump shows a spectacular ignorance of that paper, and coming from a journalist claiming to know about the ‘foreign media’, it is an outrage.
I think you should do your due diligence as a journalist. The rest of us have to be clued up about the jobs we do. If I showed that level of my ignorance in my job, I’d be out of the door before you could say ‘socialist’
smh.
bass4funk
Most of the liberal slanted ones, that’s true
Absolutely and unequivocally not! ROFL!
I would vehemently disagree, but some stories are more or less better balanced than a lot of the tabloid junk you read in Europe.
I beg to disagree....well, most of it.
Well, after 25 years that word becomes a bad of honor.
Then you would seriously need to change your job if your employer would do that to you and if they showed that level of intolerance, of course you are always allowed to make a mistake, at least in the US media and if you do make a mistake own up to it or don’t run the story, but getting fired? We don’t necessarily do that unless you work for....oh. CNN or msnbc.
bass4funk
I’m sure he thought the socialist got it all covered and they have enough money, so they should take care of it and I wish them the best of luck
Nothing changed. I’m totally against entitlements for anybody that doesn’t want to work contribute or is lazy or is trying to game the system.
Yes, still am.
Yes and the liberals can’t use all States tax subsidies to care for the non-US citizens.
Jimizo
@Bass
Where did you get the idea the Guardian was balanced on Trump?
You clearly haven’t read that paper but you gave it as an example of a paper neutral on Trump.
It’s astonishing that you, a journalist, posted that. I’ve never met anyone with a basic knowledge of the English-speaking media who thinks that. It is in no way neutral on Trump and to post you disagree with this is ridiculous.
Poor show.
Chip Star
Lmao! You asked whether one needed to be convicted to be a criminal, I answered no. You need to be convicted to be a convicted criminal. It's very elementary.
You're advocating socialism again.
Nothing you say will ever make this relevant to Donny lining his pockets with taxpayer money by constantly going to his resorts. You're trying to make an equivalency between Donny (one person) taking taxpayer money and many people receiving taxpayer money. Watching you go out on irrelevant tangents to avoid criticizing Donny is almost as much fun as watching you post links that refute your assertions.
Think of all the citizen we could help with all the cash Donny puts in his pockets by going to his properties.
No, they were not the ones who got the ball rolling.
The financial crisis was primarily caused by deregulation in the financial industry. That permitted banks to engage in hedge fund trading with derivatives.
. . .
In 1999, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, also known as the Financial Services Modernization Act, repealed the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933. The repeal allowed banks to use deposits to invest in derivatives
. . .
The following year, the Commodity Futures Modernization Act exempted credit default swaps and other derivatives from regulations.
. . .
*Who wrote and advocated for passage of both bills? Texas Senator Phil Gramm, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs*.

Completely irrelevant to Donny lining his own pockets with taxpayer money by constantly going to his golf courses.
Keep in mind, Donny doesn't take a salary. Also, and more importantly, his economic and tax policies have put billions of dollars into citizens' hands. Not in handouts but in JOBS.
Chip Star
Comoletely irrelevant to Donny lining his pockets with taxpayer money by constantly holding at his resorts.

Speaking of the Guardian, here's a great article about firearm violence in the US. If Donny could read, it'd be great if he read this whilst bilking taxpayers of money at his resort this weekend:

Golf initially began as a non-game excuse to get far away as possible to a location out of nowhere. Golf courses can be treated as a safe space for important figure heads to have a discussion privately. Your view have no blind-spots where you can pretty much see everything and everywhere around you.
It was created for the wealthy initially, therefore wasn't for a poor people's game. In the monarchy environment, it was a thing of royalty where royals used the game of golf to talk about their secrets in total confirmed privacy without having to worry about eavesdroppers.
The game had little to no meaning majority of the time. Was really used as an excuse to be just out there, chit-chatting. Trump with his old age, high probability does the same thing. However the punch line is that Orange Man Bad, golfs at his own resorts.
There aren't any golf bill(s). When Trump's out there talking away with whoever he's with, the bill is really only for the secret service. Secret Service charges are static-fixed cost. You just can't take the budget for the secret service and claim its the president's so called golf bill. Put it simply, the secret service is already in the budget.
So therefore Orange Man Bad's bill equals zero while the secret service bill is 100mil, that would be spent elsewhere anyway. Trump is a bigger household name than Obama even before Trump became president. There are lot of people out there that really hate and want Trump assassinated. As a consequence the secret service got a bit of extra budget from the government for a little bit of extra protection.

Probably that person that has been living in your and Donnie's head for the past two and a half years...
We know who's been living in your head for the past two and a half years, lincoln.
Yea, just ask the farmers and steelworkers...ask the garment workers too given he and Ivanka get their clothes and shoes made in Chinese sweatshops...
Ask lincoln about his iPhone or his friends' iPhones made in a Chinese sweatshop.
The Chinese are so hoping for a 2020 Democrat win. They think they can influence the election enough to get the Democrat elected.

Some people use golf like a business dinner. Serious discussions happen, just in a more relaxed environment.
Is it a waste of tax dollars? Hard to say. Really depends on who is golfing with him. It provides access to the President and allows the President to use soft-power.
Unfortunately, since Mr. Trump is well-known for cheating at golf, I have doubts about the actual soft-power working.
I prefer fishing and hunting. Same purpose. More beer.

You might want to learn a little more about US history. Civil War - democrat assassinated Lincoln. 1960’s war policies- Johnson chooses not to even run for re-election. And there were some very, very controversial presidents even before the Civil War.
But let’s not forget under whose reign the latest racial divisions began under - Obama never wasted an opportunity to through red meat to his base. He brought identity politics out into the open for the first time since a large group of Democrats broke off to form the Dixiecrat party. Trump wouldn’t even be president today if it wasn’t for the backlash over Obama’s race mongering.
