Come on, the constant scowl, orange spray tan, and repeatedly shoving his foot in his mouth. Don't blame the media, he just makes it too easy.

30 ( +34 / -4 )

Can you guess who.

All of us.

23 ( +26 / -3 )

If Trump and the rest of the republicans now in charge weren't such a disgusting lot, late night TV wouldn't have a need to ridicule them all of the time. But the simple fact is that Trump is an ignorant, bigoted, narcissist held high upon the shoulders of a republican leadership structure that is so corrupt that it sickens most of us to watch. And so the late night comedy reflects the daytime dystopia of the Trump fiasco. So I say, Hey Mr. Trump, you corrupt cretin, just so you know, we are all laughing at you. Even your inner circle knows you are a moron, a political fraud, and a foul windbag. What's not to laugh at?

20 ( +25 / -5 )

Colored cloth and a song don't make a society.

17 ( +19 / -2 )

Should be fun to watch the talk shows talk about this story on Monday. Trump just announced that he sees them and it upsets him. I doubt he will be able to use his power as President to silence them, but if he tries, he will just be digging himself a bigger hole.

16 ( +18 / -2 )

I look forward to Trump demanding equal time for Democrats on Fox News.

16 ( +18 / -2 )

More from Cloony:

"Here’s the thing: I grew up in Kentucky. I sold insurance door-to-door. I sold ladies’ shoes. I worked at an all-night liquor store. I would buy suits that were too big and too long and cut the bottom of the pants off to make ties so I’d have a tie to go on job interviews. I grew up understanding what it was like to not have health insurance for eight years. So this idea that I’m somehow the “Hollywood elite” and this guy who takes a s** in a gold toilet is somehow the man of the people is laughable*."

16 ( +17 / -1 )

But the Republicans are a joke, the entire congress is a joke, the Washington establishment is a joke.

They are jokes. Good job there is a serious, cerebral and dignified statesman as commander in chief to rise above these clowns.

Did you see the video Trump retweeted where he hit Hillary Clinton with a golf ball?

15 ( +16 / -1 )

Bass: as if the Hollywood ilk

Like reality show star Donald Trump? Or his right hand man Steve Bannon, a failed Hollywood producer? You love those Hollywood guys.

George Clooney:

“Steve Bannon is a failed f—ing screenwriter, and if you’ve ever read [his] screenplay, it’s unbelievable. Now, if he’d somehow managed miraculously to get that thing produced, he’d still be in Hollywood, still making movies and licking my ass to get me to do one of his stupid-ass screenplays.”

You voted for Hollywood. Your problem is that you voted for the ones who failed.

15 ( +16 / -1 )

Why would Trump care about what late night talk show comedians are saying about him? Stop whining, ignore them, and be a leader.

14 ( +18 / -4 )

I love those shows. There's a lot of honesty in humor.

Trump can't compete with them. My prediction is that he will get his revenge by having Sessions announce some new policy that disproportionally hurts minorities. That's more Trump's style.

14 ( +16 / -2 )

How is this kind of thing possible? Is this the 'alternative fact' phenomenon?

More like facts.

Obama caused the Great Recession despite the fact it started before he wasn't president.

The stock market didn't improve under Obama.

Are these facts?

13 ( +14 / -1 )

Obama....caused the Great Recession

Another to add to the list. Someone posted here that the stock market didn't improve under Obama.

How is this kind of thing possible? Is this the 'alternative fact' phenomenon?

11 ( +12 / -1 )

@Bruing Bush: Getting teary eyed over flags and songs is something people have been conditioned to do. Colored ribbons, flags and anthems are tools to lure kids with little prospect of a good job to enlist. The endless wars need volunteers to get their legs blown off in the name of who knows what.

Trump is throwing dead cats on the table to pull everyone away from the important things that need to be done and distract people from seeing that he hasn't and will not accomplish his nonsense plans, except maybe getting a hundred thousand South Korean allies killed in retaliation for his upcoming madman strike against North Korea, who's greatest sin to date against the US has been to threaten to retaliate if the US attacks it.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

Bass4funk: I remember the last president

Great.

10 ( +14 / -4 )

Besides the desperate and heart broken loons, does anyone really watch these shows?

Yep. Millions and millions of people watch. And nowadays they repost the funny bits on YouTube and they get recirculated around social media. So more people than ever are likely seeing them.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

I never voted for Hollywood

Of course not. You just voted for a Hollywood reality TV star with a campaign run by a guy who only works in politics because he failed in Hollywood.

But since Hollywood is bad, of course you would never align with them. Even when you do, you don't, because they are bad, Even when you vote one of them for President.

Try this instead: "I voted for the not Hollywood part of Trump and Bannon."

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Did you see the video Trump retweeted where he hit Hillary Clinton with a golf ball?

Hilarious! ROFL

I suppose people have different expectations regarding how the President of the US should conduct himself.

Trash and circuses it is then.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

They remind everyone, that regardless of the rivalries between the two teams, everybody stands united as a nation. The flag and anthem are meant to be sacred reminders of the unity of the country. yet the country isnt united and the races arent treated equally, hence the right to protest

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Why are there no famous conservative commedians on late-night TV in the US? And shouldn't Trump be working on all that stuff he promised during the election (repeal/replace Obamacare, tax reform, infrastructure etc) instead of spending time watching late-night TV and tweeting about it? And lecturing his Secretary of State using twitter, realy? Trump makes life too easy for these commedians, and they should get a pay reduction.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Yeah, I remember in November when everyone said, he can’t wi

You called his supporters a lunatic fringe and thought Hillary was going to win.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Defending Trump University?

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Bass: Hmmmm.....which is it guys, you say he’s a Hollywood star and then you flip around and say, he’s a politician. Oh, you guys are so very confused.

Yeah, you can do better.

The fact is that the right wing media pumped you full of anti-Hollywood propaganda and you bought it. In hindsight, you should have said, "Wait, how can I criticize Hollywood when I voted for a reality TV star in a campaign run by a guy who wouldn't even be there if he hadn't failed in Hollywood?" But you didn't. You were trying to be a good Republican by repeating talking points, but you ended up being exposed when you left the bubble.

So now you're stuck. You party threw you to the wolves and you don't have a response. The good news is that I'm willing to help where your party failed.

Try this instead: "Trump and a Bannon, both Hollywood elites, know first hand about the dangers of Hollywood and are in the unique position of challenging them from the inside."

How does that sound?

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Obama caused the Great Recession despite the fact it started before he wasn't president.

Sorry, 'was president'.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Trump has zero legislative accomplishments except for executive orders to try to undo the legacy of a black man who humiliated him at the White House Correspondence dinner in 2011.

As far as he's concerned, that's a win. For the other stuff, oh, just post some cryptic tweets.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Obama knew what he was getting into as the first black president, and though vitriol turned out more caustic and longer-lasting than most any had expected, Obama rolled with it well.

Trump should have known what he was getting into as the first much younger model-marrying, thrice-divorced, multi-bankrupted, TV-show-host with a history of racist and sexist comments and actions.

Comediennes do not have to write jokes about Trump; all they need to do is to unearth his history. Like the lines he used when he tried to lure Salma Hayek from her boyfriend: “He’s not good enough for you. He’s not important. He’s not big enough for you. You have to go out with me.” Or when he tried to seduce Brooke Shields: "I really think we should date because you’re America’s sweetheart and I’m America’s richest man and the people would love it.” That Trump's reality is far funnier (in a pathetic way) than anything that could be invented is poetic justice for this reality TV show host.

Grow a pair, Don. You cannot spend a lifetime gleefully cultivating an image of a callous, hard-charging, racist and sexist egoist and suddenly pretend that all of it never happened. And that's not even factoring in season-breaking idiocies such as your recent hinting at full-scale war while winking to the press - your moronic actions don't even require commentary to be hilarious, in a spine-tingling way.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

I don’t think he cares to compete with them as if the Hollywood ilk contributes greatly to society, good lord....

Really? It seems half of the put-downs Trumpt has is about the popularity via ratings of someone he's targeting. Oh, Joe Scarborough, etc are bad. Why? Well, the ratings, of course!

Arnold sucks! Why? Well, look at the ratings, of course!

The NFL is going to hell! Why? Look at the ratings!

ESPN... NBC News... SNL... whoever, whatever the criticism of Trump is, if it comes from someone in the media, Trump is going to go back to that old comment about 'bad ratings. very bad.'

It's a tired piece from him, and shows the shallowness of his thinking. To Trump, popularity = right basically. If your idea is popular, it must be the correct one.

Problem is, that's not the case. And he couldn't dare let his own popularity (or lack therof) become a factor. If it is, it must be ahem FAKE NEWS! Yep, gotta be fake news...

It's a tired hack of a diatribe from an immature individual.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

The left hates borders, they think we should allow everyone to get and healthcare is a right? so its shouldn't be a persons right to affordable life saving medical care for say cancer , leukemia, organ transplants etc!? but it should be a persons right to own guns even if they cost the lives of 1000s of Americans every year! Pray that one of your family members doesnt needs hugely expensive medical care to save their life, but if they cant pay then they have to die! seriously the logic of some groups defies belief at times.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

This from Forbes:

When Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th president of the United States on January 20, 2009, the U.S. stock market was in free fall. The financial crisis was in full swing following the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the Standard & Poor’s 500 index, a popular measure of the U.S. stock market, closed at 805 points on Inauguration Day.

Eight years later, the S&P 500 index has risen to 2,274 points after one of the great bull runs in stock market history. With Obama as president, the U.S. stock market, as measured by the S&P 500, returned 235%, or 16.4% annualized.

The stock market did improve under Obama.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

I see. Ok and then what? then Trump goes on a twitter tirade giving the celebs have more material to go on next week show, the cycle continues, its hilarious . LOL

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Laguna: Trump should have known what he was getting into as the first much younger model-marrying, thrice-divorced, multi-bankrupted, TV-show-host with a history of racist and sexist comments and actions.

Dont forget about Trump U. To me, that's his greatest sin. He scammed ordinary, hardworking Americans out of their money all so the "billionaire" could add a few more dollars to his bank account. The courts ordered him to pay the money back, something he has yet to do.

Despite the above, he managed to dupe other Americans into thinking he is the man of the people whose could "make America great again" by banning Muslims and making it harder for people to get healthcare. When the Trump U cash cow ended he just created another one by appealing to the Right's hatred of minorities.

And now he's complaining and searching for ways to end talk show hosts' jokes about him. He should know how Hollywood works as he is one off them.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Here we go, the race card again....

Damn him for pointing out discrimination! Why can't he just defend it like the Trump lackies do?

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Are these facts?

The last one, yes.

Objectively wrong.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

America is doomed unless its people unite, respect one another and treat each other with basic dignity and civility. That applies to politicians, late night TV show hosts and every man on the street.

Yes, yes, yes! Satire must be stopped in its tracks. Mocking the dear leader is unpatriotic and divisive.

If you know or suspect friends, neighbors or colleagues indulging in ridicule and lampooning the President - do your duty and report them to your local authorities.

Unite and stand up to parody!

5 ( +7 / -2 )

SuperLib, that wasn't funny - too many people were badly burned.

Better is Trump's reaction to Romney's dig on his lack of business acumen. As per Romney: “Whatever happened to Trump Airlines? How about Trump University? And then there’s Trump Magazine and Trump Vodka and Trump Steaks and Trump Mortgage. A business genius he is not.”

So Trump responds by rounding up samples of these failures (which must have been easy due to the large unsold inventory) - except for the steaks. Trump had a flunky source some steaks from a local butcher and didn't even bother to remove the labels. When this was pointed out, Trump continued to insist that they were, indeed, Trump Steaks. Who ya gonna believe, the words from Trump's piehole or your own eyes?

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2016/06/ny-times-stops-repeating-trump-steaks-lie.html

5 ( +6 / -1 )

I see. Ok and then what?

And then nothing. You asked if people still watch these shows, and I pointed out that people still do.

they are socialists, their actions for, 8 years under Obama, have Iran nukes, set loose a terror army, caused the great recession, set the world on the brink of world, war and restarted female slave industries in north Africa. Democrats follow the socialist ideology which has caused destitution, misery and death around the world for a century

Rather than tearing apart this ridiculous comment piece by piece, I'll just point out that literally every single thing you said in there is wrong.

More like facts.

Heh, you're saying that the recession that started months before Obama took office was started by Obama. There's a right-wing 'fact' for you. Followed by another 'fact':

The last one, yes.

The stock market didn't go up under Obama is not a fact. It's simply another right-wing lie, spread both intentionally, as well as by those who are too stupid to go out there and look at the numbers that show the lie for what it is.

The way the stock market is and the GDP is looking, you are slowing seeing a 2nd term in the making.

Considering the last two presidencies that resulted in a good GDP (Clinton and Obama) resulted in their party not being elected after their terms, I'd say that the GDP is hardly a predictor of who will win, or if it does, your conclusion is bass akwards to what history has shown us.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Considering the last two presidencies that resulted in a good GDP (Clinton and Obama) resulted in their party not being elected after their terms, yep and considering that Bush and Trump both got elected without the popular support of the people, you can understand why many Republicans are fine with discriminatory practices of their President.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Defending Trump University? lol desperate time call for desperate measures. Trump could shoot a liberal voter on live TV and his minions would still have an excuse for him.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

bass: no jobs in the private sector

There are two schools of thought on this topic. One is created by research where the numbers show a sharp decline in public sector jobs under Obama. That means all of the net job gains were in the private sector. In fact, Obama broke the record for consecutive months of private sector jobs created in the history of the United States.

The second is, "Obama is a socialist and they love public jobs so he must have created a lot of them in fact all of his jobs were in the public sector and none were in the private sector because that's just what socialists do."

Obviously you subscribe to the latter.

Since you're picky about sources, choose any one you like with a Money section and I'll get the information from them so you can see it from people you trust. Unless, of course, you grew up in the Office of Labor building and therefore don't need any fancy statistics to tell you what the deal is.

We'll go ahead and add this to your list of "things that must be true because I know liberals even though all of the verifiable information says otherwise."

5 ( +7 / -2 )

bass: I don’t know, we have money and second, my parents raised us to never depend on the government, so I never felt or ever believed it’s their obligation. Being self-reliant is the only way, depending on the government never leads to anything good.

With so many military and police and FBI family members, as you've often claimed, I would guess that your family has done quite well relying on steady checks from government employment. The rest of us made our bones in the private sector.

By the way, how's that free healthcare for life working out for ya? And those government pensions must be nice.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

the Washington establishment is a joke. yep and Trump doesn't have a choice in that he needs the establishment to get anything done, otherwise hed just sack them all and declare himself as supreme ruler.

thanks god for democracy, or the a perverted resemblance of one anyways.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

but their so called nightmare will linger for a very long time. what 4yrs isnt that long, especially since it been almost 1 yr and Trump hasnt dont anything hes stated he was going to. Yes it will be funny plenty material to keep the comedians busy and larger percentage of the public amused. One thing Hollywood can count on is Trumps fragile ego. LOL

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Reminds when George Bush senior said America should be more like The Waltons than like The Simpsons.

How that backfired was just glorious.

All this stuff just gets buried because Trump has to find someone to have a go at on Twitter, be it comedians, the NFL etc etc.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

No different than any other university

Entirely false equivalency.

or are you telling me spending 100K on a liberal education is smart money?

I spent that roughly that much on a liberal BSc, and the job I was able to get out of university put me on the course my life took, that has resulted in me making about that much back every few months. So yeah, it was extremely smart money. Said no one who went to Trump U ever.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Ok, so nothing really important or Earth shattering. Lol

I never claimed there was. Lol

I was simply replying to your query as to whether people watch those shows. Lol

By pointing out that people still do watch those shows, more now than ever. Lol

4 ( +5 / -1 )

That old horse we’re on again?

Heh, we'll be bringing this one up for decades.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

We had a sluggish economy for 8 years, we didn’t even reach 3.0 GDP ask any investor, that not just sluggish, that’s bad, off the back of a GFC and auto industry collapse, which cost the US taxpayer over $700billion. millions out of work and homes. I think Obama did a pretty good job considering the mountain of poo he was lumped with it certainly wasnt of his making. If anything its his leadership that has handed Trump a recovering market on its way up.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Does the 2nd amendment cover medical costs? Does it say, we have a right to it? 2nd amendment was written at a times when muskets were the norm and health insurance wasn't even though of . Different times require revised constitutions. Just as prohibition was amended from the constitution so can the 2nd amendment be amended.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

*That old horse we’re on again? yep the land of the free , home of the brave , where people are judged for the content of their character not the color of their skin... oops.** strange how the basic democratic principles of the US allows discrimination of a persons location over anothers and a minority race due to the color of their skin. Until these problems are addressed that "old horse" will be around for a long while yet. *

Kimmell is a COLLEGE DROPOUT. And when he did attend it was at Arizona State. Need we say more?

So why does Donny and his dimwitted sons start twitter fights with a college drop out?

Do you think Donny is much better? Lololol By the way, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerburg, both college drop outs. What was your point?

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Kimmell is a COLLEGE DROPOUT

Entering tertiary education? A bit bookish.

Trump loves the poorly educated. He said so.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

I can’t believe people are even entertaining the idea of a second Trump term. The guy is a shambling mess, complete basket case. I doubt he’ll be using the toilet by himself at the end of 4 years, much less running for re-election. It’s sad for him that the stress of being president appears to be accelerating the process of whatever dementia or age-related issue he has, but even just from January to now it’s pretty clear that he has gotten much worse.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

@Bass

Right. Read the article.

So the stock market did improve under Obama.

Why did you say it didn't?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

If leftists aren't happy, use the ballot box. Until then, respect the presidency and get used to it...

I had this odd notion that respect had to be earned.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

At his point, who cares what Trump says?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

But the Republicans are a joke, the entire congress is a joke, the Washington establishment is a joke.

3 ( +10 / -7 )

BTW, for those relying on hearsay rather than statistics, here's a comparison of stock market movements from inauguration day to Oct. 5 of both the Trump and Obama presidencies. Again, no comedic additions are necessary other than juxtaposition with Trump's own clueless comments. Here's one: "We've picked up in market value almost $4 trillion since November 8, which was the election. $4 trillion -- it's a lot of money. Personally, I picked up nothing, but that's all right."

http://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2017/10/the-stock-market-is-doing-well-under-donald-trump/

3 ( +3 / -0 )

The way the stock market is and the GDP is looking, you are slowing seeing a 2nd term in the making. firstly your assuming the stock market will continue its run, as the 2008 GFC has taught us, what goes up must come down (those sub prime home and auto loans are slowly building pressure ) secondly your assuming that Trumps damaging racist egotistical personality which now Americans and the whole world can clearly see is worse than expected will somehow be overlooked if the stock market is going up. LOL

3 ( +4 / -1 )

How has the race card benefited the left except for making them look like whiny opportunists?

The race card is about addressing racism. Anyone pointing out racism, bigotry or discrimination for some 'benefit' has their own issues, but that doesn't somehow make the racism, bigotry and discrimination, nor does the pointing out of how someone who would use it to a benefit has some sort of issues. Shutting down racism, bigotry and discrimination is not about benefit, it's about removing disadvantage.

There is a major misunderstanding out there that many people on both sides have. Equality isn't about creating equal outcome, it's about creating equal opportunity. One's race, sexual discrimination, gender, skin color, ethnicity etc. shouldn't remove opportunity - i.e. they should not be filtered out of job interviews due to any of these traits. That is equal opportunity. However, that does not necessarily mean that an equivalent ratio of eventual hirees to percentage of the population will be the same, as the best people should be chosen out out of the interviewees. If the ratio is expected to be the same, that's equal outcome, and that's not realistic.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Even if the Fairness Doctrine were reinstated, it does not cover commentary.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Trump was a celebrity - he should know how the business of ratings works

As for equal time, SNL's Alec Baldwin already told Trump back in Nov 2016:

https://twitter.com/ABFalecbaldwin/status/800337003426484224

Replying to @realDonaldTrump

"Equal time? Election is over. There is no more equal time. Now u try 2 b Pres + ppl respond. That's pretty much it."

If you want to break a hard stone, it’s very difficult to do so with a hard mallet. However, if you study the stone carefully you’ll find a crack somewhere. Then all you have to do is place a wedge into the crack and strike repeatedly. Eventually the stone will break.

America’s adversary realized that they could not defeat America with brute force. So they studied American society carefully, found a crack and then last year, successfully placed a wedge into that crack.

Such as Russia and its social media troll factories

America is doomed unless its people unite, respect one another and treat each other with basic dignity and civility. That applies to politicians, late night TV show hosts and every man on the street.

And unite against those who repeatedly pound wedges into the cracks, such as Russia

So ya agree then

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Does racism apply to Black and Brown people or does it extend to Whites as well.

Racism, bigotry and discrimination are color blind. Anyone can have any of these things happen to them, and it's never right no matter who is doing it.

What's not right though is trying to justify one's own racism, bigotry and/or discrimination due to another group doing it to them. It's wrong irregardless.

The Democratic Party sadly failed in that endeavor. 60 years and how is the Black community and the Hispanic community doing these days?

You realize that you by saying that the Democrats failed in the endeavor of providing equal opportunity, it means the Republicans succeeded in stifling it.

People are tired of the identity politics

Most definitely Team Red! Team Blue! Both teams have major issues.

But your general stance is that because people are tired of talk about racism, discrimination and bigotry, we should just shut up about it and allow it to continue. It's very true that the serious Social Justice Warriors are annoying and go overboard. But the far right-wing conclusion that this means any issue the SJWs bring up should be discounted and ignored is a flawed conclusion. It's just the other extreme from the SJWs. People who try to take this stance are no better than the SJWs, they are more alike with the SJWs than the rest of us, insofar as both groups are extremists who have no tolerance for any view other than their own.

If there’s so much racism, why are most of the best of the best sport athletes multi- millionaires 5 times over?

Tell me the number of athletes who are 'multi- millionaires 5 times over' as a percentage of the population, and I'll point out how such a tiny percentage of the population cannot logically be used as the premise behind your question.

Come up with something more relevant and I'll be happier to answer. But choosing something that is 0.0000001% of the population and trying to extrapolate and draw any conclusions about society as a whole is reductionist logic.

funny how the Liberal crazies say nothing "on air" about the whack job Harvey Weinstein and his perverted sexploits.........

bass4funk: "Trump is Trump, he still has the last laugh, look at it this way, Hillary could have been president, now if you can’t laugh at that, I don’t know what to tell you. Lol"

The uncomfortable "lol"s again. Unmistakeable. In any case, you seem to think "the last laugh" is the correct one, so long as it's Trump. Sadly for you, and other Trump supporters, Trump will never cease to be the butt of all jokes, as the man, and his supporters, ARE jokes. I mean, you're cheering on the man because he is complaining about being criticized and can't take the jokes, taking to Twitter to lash out like a BABY. haha.

"Does racism apply to Black and Brown people or does it extend to Whites as well."

I like the "one or the other" argument you accidentally try making. Oops!

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Really, I think he’s the most sensible of them, at least he gets what the people want. oh no that "old horse again" please stop stating "what the people want" its insinuating that the majority of the American people want what Trump wants and the polls clearly show that isnt what they want, a larger percentage dont support his policies and the majority didnt even vote for him. Not false news but actual FACTS

3 ( +3 / -0 )

BUT WAIT, Trump does have an accomplishment: he got some football players to stand! Those commedians can't make fun of that!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Trully, with Trump and his administration/family, the jokes write themselves. I wonder what will make us laugh after Trump. The writers will be too lazy.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

If there’s so much racism, why are most of the best of the best sport athletes multi- millionaires 5 times over? If America was so inherently racist, there’s no way Blacks could make it in sports or even the White House. Does racism exist? It does, but not in the way the left thinks. blacks in sport is because they're physiology give them an advantage in these fields. Blacks make up around 15% on the US population , yet if you look at congress, CEO of companies people in positions of power/influence there are very few non whites. why is this, is it because whites have a superior intellect or some other hidden discrimination very few seem to acknowledge!?

No. You really needn't.

Exactly! Also funny how the Liberal crazies say nothing "on air" about the whack job Harvey Weinstein...

Why should they, when they're responding to Trump's tweets attacking them? All this deflection proves is that you can't come up with any excuses for him.

Who got rid of equal time? -- Ronald Reagan!!

1 ( +1 / -0 )

a president, why doesn't he just fire them all?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Really, I think he’s the most sensible of them, at least he gets what the people want.  oh no that "old horse again" please stop stating "what the people want" its insinuating that the majority of the American people want what Trump wants and the polls clearly show that isnt what they want, a larger percentage dont support his policies and the majority didnt even vote for him. Not false news but actual FACTS

Not sure about that, because if that weren't true, Democrats would be winning seats left and right and the fact is, they keep losing and losing, therefore, it is with much certainty that people just don't trust the Democrats on anything, with the exception maybe healthcare and it's not like they love the GOP, but at least the GOP can do basic math, something that the left can't seem to do.

Good luck to them though

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The network DOES NOT EXIST that wants to give equal time to Republicans! Ratings in the gutter!

Kimmell is a COLLEGE DROPOUT. And when he did attend it was at Arizona State. Need we say more?

Exactly! Also funny how the Liberal crazies say nothing "on air" about the whack job Harvey Weinstein and his perverted sexploits.........OOh can't say anything because he was a huge donor to the left and Joan of Arc for President. What a bunch of losers.

I am waiting for the headline news about the record low unemployment and the record high stock market.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

The stock market did improve under Obama

http://www.newsmax.com/Finance/StreetTalk/stock-market-presidency-eighth-year-investors/2016/01/21/id/710279/

In the first 3 years it did, but the rest, it was horrible, especially the last 4 years of his presidency.

blacks in sport is because they're physiology give them an advantage in these fields.

Had I made that statement, ya’ll would have called me a racist. So if that’s true, does that mean, Asians are intellectually smarter or Whites are more ambitious? Come on!

Blacks make up around 15% on the US population , yet if you look at congress, CEO of companies people in positions of power/influence there are very few non whites.

Maybe they’re better qualified. Why is it that Blacks have the highest school drop out rate of any ethnic group and why is it that most Blacks in Detroit can’t read or do math passed the 7th grade level? Maybe it has something to do with academics and not color.

https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/only-7-detroit-public-school-8th-graders-proficient-reading

why is this, is it because whites have a superior intellect or some other hidden discrimination very few seem to acknowledge!?

What do you think it is? I believe single parent household, absent father, poor academic skills is the real problem.

The uncomfortable "lol"s again.

Confident as a drunken Stephen Colbert.

Unmistakeable. In any case, you seem to think "the last laugh" is the correct one, so long as it's Trump. Sadly for you, and other Trump supporters, Trump will never cease to be the butt of all jokes, as the man, and his supporters, ARE jokes.

That’s ok, he’s president and we do the same, laugh at the looney left and looks like NFL is starting to really take a hit, now that’s funny...in a way. And that Kaepernick now says, he will stand for the Anthem if it means he can play or get at least signed.

Love it!

I mean, you're cheering on the man because he is complaining about being criticized and can't take the jokes, taking to Twitter to lash out like a BABY. haha.

If I were a Democrat, the absolute last thing I would be doing is laughing, in fact seeing where the Dems are politically, I would be buying as many boxes of tissues I could afford. Because at this place, the only the Dems can do is nothing but crying.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Trump hits back at late night shows critical of Republicans.

Surprise! Oh yes, this president fights back. No, he's not a baby. He has a bully pulpit and he's just learning to use it. Watch out!

If leftists aren't happy, use the ballot box. Until then, respect the presidency and get used to it, because it's going to be a long time coming, possibly a few decades, before another dem gets elected president.

It didn’t, read my article.

LA has really high crime rates and yet the stars who live in gated communities insulated from reality and crime, are so quick to condemn others.

They also produce VIOLENT movies and shows in LA.

Kimmell is a COLLEGE DROPOUT. And when he did attend it was at Arizona State. Need we say more?

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

There are two schools of thought on this topic. One is created by research where the numbers show a sharp decline in public sector jobs under Obama. That means all of the net job gains were in the private sector. In fact, Obama broke the record for consecutive months of private sector jobs created in the history of the United States.

Until you look at it under a microscope and add that under the stagnant economy, the people that gave up looking, dropped out of the workforce and the baby boomers that retired gives the complete illusion that the jobs market under Obama was excellent when it was disastrous.

http://www.investors.com/politics/commentary/how-good-is-job-growth-the-chart-obama-doesnt-want-you-to-see/

We'll go ahead and add this to your list of "things that must be true because I know liberals even though all of the verifiable information says otherwise."

No, it's just as an investor, I could see with my own two eyes how bad overall the economy was and how little his policies helped the middle class and greatly affected the Black community and anything under a GDP of 3.0 is a sluggish and slow economy, there was no confidence in the stock market and people were riding the final year out and sitting on their money, I know I did.

> With so many military and police and FBI family members, as you've often claimed, I would guess that your family has done quite well relying on steady checks from government employment.

I don't speak for them.

The rest of us made our bones in the private sector.

By the way, how's that free healthcare for life working out for ya? And those government pensions must be nice.

I wouldn't know, my parents nor I personally spooned off the government, never have and never will.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

Yeah, you can do better.

The fact is that the right wing media pumped you full of anti-Hollywood propaganda and you bought it.

Sorry, I turned Hollyweird off back in 1998 I can see for myself and since I’m going to get a one-sided political liberal viewpoint...No thanks.

I’m not a Republican and would never be one. And this euphemism of Trump being a celeb and now he’s a politician to a celeb, which is it you guys, come on now, figure it out! Lol

So now you're stuck. You party threw you to the wolves and you don't have a response.

Naw, free as a bald eagle. I threw my party in the shredder many moons ago. I hate both of them.

The good news is that I'm willing to help where your party failed.

if you have that much energy, please help the desperate Democrats, they keep losing seats over 1000 they need all the help they can get and it still might not be enough.

Try this instead: "Trump and a Bannon, both Hollywood elites, know first hand about the dangers of Hollywood and are in the unique position of challenging them from the inside."

How does that sound?

What??? Sounds like a bad David Lynch skit. ROFL

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

but their so called nightmare will linger for a very long time.  what 4yrs isnt that long,

The way the stock market is and the GDP is looking, you are slowing seeing a 2nd term in the making.

especially since it been almost 1 yr and Trump hasnt dont anything hes stated he was going to. Yes it will be funny plenty material to keep the comedians busy and larger percentage of the public amused. One thing Hollywood can count on is Trumps fragile ego. LOL

Yeah, I remember in November when everyone said, he can’t win, he’s not going to run, every news outlet, media and gossip outlet go the polls wrong and if they serve as an indicator for anything, you might be in more trouble than you think. LOL

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

And then nothing. You asked if people still watch these shows, and I pointed out that people still do.

Ok, so nothing really important or Earth shattering. Lol

Rather than tearing apart this ridiculous comment piece by piece, I'll just point out that literally every single thing you said in there is wrong.

No, I really don’t think so, there’s a lot more, but we don’t have time.

The stock market didn't go up under Obama is not a fact. It's simply another right-wing lie, spread both intentionally, as well as by those who are too stupid to go out there and look at the numbers that show the lie for what it is.

We had a sluggish economy for 8 years, we didn’t even reach 3.0 GDP ask any investor, that not just sluggish, that’s bad, no jobs in the private sector, the guy was horrible. But I give him credit for the first 2 years of saving it from Bush. I’m being fair now....

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

You called his supporters a lunatic fringe and thought Hillary was going to win.

But she didn’t, thank God!

Dont forget about Trump U. To me, that's his greatest sin. He scammed ordinary, hardworking Americans out of their money all so the "billionaire" could add a few more dollars to his bank account. The courts ordered him to pay the money back, something he has yet to do.

No different than any other university or are you telling me spending 100K on a liberal education is smart money? Total ripoff!

Despite the above, he managed to dupe other Americans into thinking he is the man of the people whose could "make America great again" by banning Muslims and making it harder for people to get healthcare.

The left hates borders, they think we should allow everyone to get and healthcare is a right? Did the government take over the healthcare industry 200 years ago?

When the Trump U cash cow ended he just created another one by appealing to the Right's hatred of minorities.

Here we go, the race card again....

And now he's complaining and searching for ways to end talk show hosts' jokes about him. He should know how Hollywood works as he is one off them.

Trump is Trump, he still has the last laugh, look at it this way, Hillary could have been president, now if you can’t laugh at that, I don’t know what to tell you. Lol

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

Not at all, right in the pocket.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

The race card is about addressing racism.

Does racism apply to Black and Brown people or does it extend to Whites as well.

Anyone pointing out racism, bigotry or discrimination for some 'benefit' has their own issues, but that doesn't somehow make the racism, bigotry and discrimination, nor does the pointing out of how someone who would use it to a benefit has some sort of issues. Shutting down racism, bigotry and discrimination is not about benefit, it's about removing disadvantage.*

The Democratic Party sadly failed in that endeavor. 60 years and how is the Black community and the Hispanic community doing these days?

There is a major misunderstanding out there that many people on both sides have. Equality isn't about creating equal outcome, it's about creating equal opportunity. One's race, sexual discrimination, gender, skin color, ethnicity etc. shouldn't remove opportunity - i.e. they should not be filtered out of job interviews due to any of these traits.

People are tired of the identity politics, focus for a moment, The Democrats didn’t just lose the last election, they lost over 1000 legislative seats, they lost been this fractured since the reconstruction period, that’s phenomenal! That should also be an indicator as to something seriously wrong where the people rejected these radical progressive policies.

That is equal opportunity. However, that does not necessarily mean that an equivalent ratio of eventual hirees to percentage of the population will be the same, as the best people should be chosen out out of the interviewees. If the ratio is expected to be the same, that's equal outcome, and that's not realistic.

If there’s so much racism, why are most of the best of the best sport athletes multi- millionaires 5 times over? If America was so inherently racist, there’s no way Blacks could make it in sports or even the White House. Does racism exist? It does, but not in the way the left thinks.

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

Of course not. You just voted for a Hollywood reality TV star with a campaign run by a guy who only works in politics because he failed in Hollywood.

Hmmmm.....which is it guys, you say he’s a Hollywood star and then you flip around and say, he’s a politician. Oh, you guys are so very confused.

But since Hollywood is bad, of course you would never align with them. Even when you do, you don't, because they are bad, Even when you vote one of them for President.

Who left Hollywood to become a politician. Question, what is Al Franken?

Are these facts?

The last one, yes.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

I see. Ok and then what? then Trump goes on a twitter tirade giving the celebs have more material to go on next week show, the cycle continues, its hilarious . LOL

Ok and then what? I mean, he’s still president, still going to be, Hollyweird and their boring ilk can laugh it up, but their so called nightmare will linger for a very long time. Lol

Now that’s funny!

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

Damn him for pointing out discrimination! Why can't he just defend it like the Trump lackies do?

And How has the race card benefited the left except for making them look like whiny opportunists? There’s a reason the Dems are wandering in the wilderness, besides income redistribution, embracing fascism and socialism and the race card or identity politics, what do Dems have to offer?

*The left hates borders, they think we should allow everyone to get and healthcare is a right? **so its shouldn't be a persons right to affordable life saving medical care for say cancer , leukemia, organ transplants etc!?*

You couldn’t afford it on Obamacare and you can’t do it now, even less so. By the way, Bernie wants “Single payer” who would pay for it?

but it should be a persons right to own guns even if they cost the lives of 1000s of Americans every year!

Does the 2nd amendment cover medical costs? Does it say, we have a right to it?

Pray that one of your family members doesnt needs hugely expensive medical care to save their life, but if they cant pay then they have to die! seriously the logic of some groups defies belief at times.

I don’t know, we have money and second, my parents raised us to never depend on the government, so I never felt or ever believed it’s their obligation. Being self-reliant is the only way, depending on the government never leads to anything good.

Considering the last Democratic president that resulted in a good GDP (Clinton) resulted in his party not being elected after his terms,

Clinton did without a doubt, I would never dispute that.

yep and considering that Bush and Trump both got elected without the popular support of the people, you can understand why many Republicans are fine with discriminatory practices of their President.

That old horse we’re on again? Gore as president, the country would have folded! Hillary, the country would have ceased to exist. Trump is president, get over it and if the comedians wanna laugh, go right ahead, I’m laughing as well, at all of them. ROFL.

-12 ( +2 / -14 )

Trump can't compete with them.

I don’t think he cares to compete with them as if the Hollywood ilk contributes greatly to society, good lord....

My prediction is that he will get his revenge by having Sessions announce some new policy that disproportionally hurts minorities. That's more Trump's style.

Its Sunday, can we give the race card a break, just for today? Is it ok?

Yep. Millions and millions of people watch. And nowadays they repost the funny bits on YouTube and they get recirculated around social media. So more people than ever are likely seeing them.

I see. Ok and then what?

-16 ( +1 / -17 )

the problem is there is nothing funny about Democrats, so equal time won't matter. they are socialists, their actions for, 8 years under Obama, have Iran nukes, set loose a terror army, caused the great recession, set the world on the brink of world, war and restarted female slave industries in north Africa. Democrats follow the socialist ideology which has caused destitution, misery and death around the world for a century, there is, simply nothing to make jokes about the left. equal time sure but how depressing it would, be.

-18 ( +4 / -22 )

How is this kind of thing possible? Is this the 'alternative fact' phenomenon?

More like facts.

-19 ( +1 / -20 )

Why would Trump care about what late night talk show comedians are saying about him? Stop whining, ignore them, and be a leader.

Act like a leader? Yeah...I remember the last president whining about FNC and Anita Dunn was trying to get them kicked off the air and out of the WH press room. Give me a break!

-22 ( +3 / -25 )

They are jokes. Good job there is a serious, cerebral and dignified statesman as commander in chief to rise above these clowns.

Really, I think he’s the most sensible of them, at least he gets what the people want.

Did you see the video Trump retweeted where he hit Hillary Clinton with a golf ball?

Hilarious! ROFL

Should be fun to watch the talk shows talk about this story on Monday. Trump just announced that he sees them and it upsets him. I doubt he will be able to use his power as President to silence them, but if he tries, he will just be digging himself a bigger hole.

Besides the desperate and heart broken loons, does anyone really watch these shows?
