He can stop off in japan and we can refuel him as a goodwill gesture.

"there are a number of sites in Singapore that can guarantee security protection, including hotels that have experience hosting high-security events...

" ...there is only one hotel room in all of the city that meets “security protocol" for the U.S. president"

Really!

Both are risking their "lives" for this event. Both have domestic and international enemies that want to literally assassinate them. Therefore, "security" will be the major issue and problem for both governments and those that arranged and coordinated this to happen.

The problem is that one cannot assume or predict that every one of the so called allies to this event are actually "wishing" for this meeting to happen and really want them to be alive. Prior to this, all the participants actually declared that they wished to destroy each other's country and remove its leaders. In both countries they have opposition that want to do the same to their own leader. The only one that "played" both sides is China. And sadly, they have been the "most deceptive" of all the parties to this eventful meeting. And this meeting is happening in their front yard.

(In reality they have the most to gain from the elimination of both leaders by some third party.)

This logistic problem is but one issue that can be resolved much easier and quicker than the security issue. There are many viable logistical alternatives and options which each leader must evaluate, work with and choose. So the "fate" will be by the "choice" made by each leader.

NK "appears" to have limited choices and options. It would have been easier had NK maintained "reliable" allies that could have helped in this situation. But then, this is "reality".

I cetrainly wish and hope that Kim does find a satisfactory way to the meeting. And most of all.., that there is no "double cross" or attempts on their lives.

About time a US president dose something besides just avoid North Korea. Making America great again one step at a time.

Let's not forget that the US and North Korea already had a previous deal in the 90's - and North Korea violated it, even admitted to it, thus ending the deal

That's why be careful having talks with North Korea - talk is cheap

Trump isn't the first president to get an invite, but he is the first to accept it. Previous Presidents were to scared to actually go themselves and sent someone else to try and make deals. Which offended the North Korean ruler. So Trump is the first to accept the invitation as the others were cowards.
