could you say the same of Donald Trump?

Yes as he has not made it into a court of law, nor been prosecuted nor indicted. Not found guilty of anything of a criminal nature t all. Yet it’s still here every day.

he has been found not guilty or won the court cases against him, never mentioned here and never in any liberal media. Why?

It's a conspiracy!

That doesn’t work anymore once it’s verified as true. Sorry bout that.

Haha Simon poor guy or wait my bad what is your pronouns? I’m not trying to refute your criticisms. I laugh at your commies because that’s exactly what you are. Your folks make things up more and more every day. I’m glad I don’t live in your leftist Marxist bubble!

Don't you have anything better to do with your time? Pathetic.

If Trump really hasn’t done anything wrong, why wouldn’t he want his day in front of the investigators?

would you want to be investigated? just to prove what you already know, that you didn’t commit a crime? Like they would actually stop once it’s proven he did nothing wrong? No, right?

he has been investigated for 6 YEARS now, quite longer than your proposed “day”.

Trump 2024!!! Or sooner!

Trump's probably just doing what other US business' are up to (i.e. Google paid 0 taxes), it's just that he has painted a big target on his back, so, uh, deal with it, Trump.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Anyone seen Trump put under deposition to testify? He's a pathetic mess of a man. With nowhere to run and nowhere to hide ALL his weaknesses are exposed, such as his egregious deficit in intellect, articulateness and honesty and his characteristic knee-jerk recourse to transparent deviousness whenever he's caught out by probing questions. To see all this and watch Trump's shrinking ego under pressure from being compelled to explain his words and actions is to understand why, as a lifelong scofflaw who cannot disguise his hate for the establishment, he was unable to learn on the job how to be Potus and work for the good of the country.

The Democratic Party is finished! Biden sold out to the WHO and WEF plus he has been caught with his hand in the Chinese communist cookie jar!

I don’t think there is a single thing your leftist on here have been right about. You’ve been spreading the same talking points that have been proven false many times. Haha

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Wonderful. Put Trump out of the picture for 2024. Democrats just can’t do anything right.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Trump will probably skate this one, too. He is too big to fall,

I agree and the Dems know this, but whatever political damage they can inflict, why not?

as a member member of the US and global establishment,

No where near that, that’s one why he is so despised by the establishment m, for being an outsider.

one of the biggest supporters of the global fossil economy, he's a politician who has shown he cares mostly about the wealthiest in the US and around the globe.

No, the man just understands that fossil fuel will be with us for a very long time and we should use those resources that are easily available and that have worked and keep the country moving as well as putting food on the table for thousands of blue collar Americans. Something Biden promised he would uphold if people voted for him, he reneged bad for him and the Democrats and great for Trump and the GOP.

During Trump's brief time in the White House he was known for his tax cuts to help himself

As well as the job creators that were able to hire more people, expand and pay better wages, what a crime.

and his fellow wealthiest in the establishment and for ignoring environmental problems and things related to climate change.

You can walk and chew gum at the same time, but it’s stupid to allow people to suffer, die and live in poverty over the environment and once again, the people are letting Republicans know that they overwhelmingly reject the Dems New Green Deal crap.

Trump is an establishment tool.

If so, Republican RINO’s would embrace him and yet they don’t.

Trump lead the January 6th failed attempt to overturn an election which was one more example of his disdain for US democratic systems.

And yet, when the left tries to overturn and run out a duly elected President, there was complete silence about political democracy, why?

He's a grifting gangster who seems more aligned with politicians in Russia and former SSR's plus those leading banana republics. How much money to Republicans he is endorsing have to cough up at Mar a Lago to get his endorsement. How many billions did his son-in-law get from Saudi Arabia.

Yeah, the typical desperate liberal diatribe. Let’s get this over with so Trump can get back on the campaign trail.

Their are 3 grand jury investigation Trump in New York, Georgia and Federal grand jury about classified papers, taking too a grand jury, indictment will be handed down

I wager that most Trump fans don't actually believe that their man is clean and innocent. They know he's a crook and a con artist. They just don't care because Trump sticks it to the libs, and it makes them feel good.

Just look at the defenses of Trump offered every time. Libs this, the left that, Dems this, Pelosi that.

Trump loses appeal

He never had any appeal that I could see.....

4 ( +7 / -3 )

He’s like an old and rabid Saint Bernard on medication. Lock him up and forget about him. He’s done.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

I just don't like the fat guy, but I also hope Clinton gets what she deserves. This Russian collusion theory seems to be unraveling - people deserve to know what the truth is.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

@Blacklabel

I’m addressing the idea that the Democrats didn’t and will never recover from 2016.

They recovered well from an objective perspective.

Sorry for using the word ‘objective’. I’m a bit behind the times.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

in what way will they never recover?

In the way that they have totally wasted their 1.5 years of control of the White House, Senate and House and even the media and Twitter. Which they wont have anymore in 5 short months.

very few to none of their priorities have been enacted into law, thankfully. Main achievement is giving away all our money to Ukraine, which isnt even in the top 12 of concerns of Americans.

You do know a Republican majority House and Senate can impeach Biden, and Harris, and Pelosi dont you? and dont ask "for what" because as we saw previously, it can be for anything, or nothing. precedent set by Democrats.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

The dems will never recover from their maga loss.

Following the 2016 loss, the Democrats won the house, control of the senate and the presidency in 2020.

From an objective political view, I’d say that’s a decent recovery from 2016.

In what way will they never recover?

3 ( +7 / -4 )

And somehow that excuses him from criminal prosecution?

Yes, it does because he is not being criminally prosecuted, he is being investigated.

Over and over, to find something, anything.

There is no one else who can be investigated once instead of fruitless Trump investigation number 224?

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

The dems will never recover from their maga loss.

Sad that you're cheering for half your country being oppressed... I'm sure glad I don't live in a country with two distinct sides that hate each other.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

because others who have clearly committed crimes are not even investigated at all.

And somehow that excuses him from criminal prosecution? Umm I hope you don't think actually make sense in the real world.

5 ( +9 / -4 )

The former Insurrectionist-in-Chief thinks he’s above the law and he, and his blind followers, will continue to spew disinformation and misinformation every opportunity they have.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

how about if any document or any testimony leaks to the media or is sent over to the criminal trial, every judge involved and every staff and every media who print it lose their jobs and be liable for a lawsuit?

As they are claiming it "wont happen like that". so lets make sure it doesnt happen "like that". Because we know it will.

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

What does it matter if the suits against him were politically motivated, if he actually committed the crime?

because others who have clearly committed crimes are not even investigated at all.

Yet Trump is in year 6 of "find a crime". they still cant find one.

I think you would be upset if police kept coming to your house every day looking for anything I can call a crime while the entire neighborhood knows your neighbor is selling crack. While putting into the media every day what they think you are doing wrong. "Hes stealing Wi-Fi" then its found untrue. "He is pirating movies!" Nearly every day for 6 years?

You would get tired of it and people would rightfully say you need to be left alone at some point to focus on actual criminals.

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

buts [sic] America first

He puts himself first. Sad that some people still don't get that.

7 ( +10 / -3 )

Unfortunately the word "truth" has a different meaning to Mr Trump. Whether true or not, as long as a statement is beneficial or profitable to him, it is "true"; otherwise, it is "false". For example, if a news article is negative to him, it is false, and if he loses in an election, the result is false - regardless of their validity.

Sure, but if they can get him on record claiming something that they can prove he's claimed otherwise in the past, it gives them ammo.

Being on legal record is the last thing that Trump wants. That's why he and his advisors burned so many documents, and stole so many others.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

Former President Donald Trump must answer questions under oath...

The term under oath means "a formal promise to tell the truth"

I don't get it, even if it is a witch hunt, would that somehow mean Trump should be excluded from legal punishment? What does it matter if the suits against him were politically motivated, if he actually committed the crime? Baffling line of defense, is there anyone here willing to admit they think it holds water?

8 ( +12 / -4 )

the Trumps showed no evidence they or their company were “treated differently” than other companies under similar scrutiny.

As it should be. Screaming ‘witch hunt’ every time you don’t like something is attempting to be treated differently but doesn’t cut the mustard.

Why don’t we hear ‘let’s look at all the evidence, a day in court’ so much these days?

8 ( +12 / -4 )

Good for Trump : - ))

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

Excellent news after 4 years of idiocracy and embarrassement.

7 ( +13 / -6 )

Mr. TEFLON will someday end up on trial if and when all judges resign, LOL

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

One big distraction.

Forgive the cross cultural pun but I never understood Trump's continuing appeal to his base.

Hates the establishment, buts America first, believes deeply in closed borders, limits to immigration, believes in the police, rule of law, parents school choice, pro-life, sticking it to the establishment, loves low taxes, supports small businesses (giving them tax credits) believes in a powerful military, believes in the 1st and 2nd amendment deeply and he’s not a career politician, keeps his political promises.

So that’s why his appeal continues to grow

He ran in 2016 as opposing Hilary's neo-liberal agenda and traditional Republican free trade initiatives and bringing broad based prosperity.

Started

He could only deliver failed trickle down corporate.01% tax cuts.

Yes, which helped the job creators to grow and hire more people

His political "deliverables" to use the in vogue business term, are as bankrupt as his various businesses.

Well, not really when you think he had over 340 solid accomplishments, but the media was more interested in attacking and demonizing the man with impeachments and constant 24/7 negative news.

One can only conclude it is a deluded cultish base.

..and growing with pride.

No need to feed this clown, crook, narcissist's ego. I wish the media could do away with the big close up photos, the stories themselves will suffice.
