Donny has tough words for the terrorists he had incited to Camp David near the anniversary of our country being attacked. Hahaha. Ha. Ha.

The article didn’t mention that President Trump specifically identified “Islamic terrorism” as the culprit which his predecessor refused to do.

Well his predecessorS were right. Islam is not the motive for any terrorism. Just because a Muslim commits terrorism does not make it different from when a Christian does. Perverting religion may help with enlistment but these acts are always tied to political and/or tactical reasons. 1400 years of Islam and the term "Islamic terrorism" was just coined? The term is misleading garbage and only someone with a self-righteous agenda would ever use it. In fact, I would say its the type of thing a REAL terrorist would utter.

It doesn't seem appropriate for Trump to comment on 9/11 with his hatred of the military.

So, did he comment again on the huge crowd of Muslims cheering across the river in New Jersey?

Hats off to all emergency responders everywhere, and on the anniversary especially those involved in 9/11. True heroes all.

One of the many sad legacies of the event was the invasion of Afghanistan. I'll never forget Bush 43 having 'The Battle Hymn of the Republic' played after his speech. Though sold to some in the US as payback for the attack, to me it was a chance resource extractors had long been waiting for to plunder oil and mineral rich Afghanistan. And for the defense industries to profit. And for the globe's financiers to back both.

Well, at least Trump didn't do 2 thumbs up with an ear to ear smile like he did in El Paso with the orphaned baby who'd lost parents in the mass shooting there.

I know a Japanese woman who was working in NYC just before 2001. She did a lot of intermediary work between the Japanese and Cantor Fitzgerald, so she knew a lot of the people working there. I remember talking to her a few hours after the planes had hit the World Trade Center and she was understandably quite upset about it. She's a nice lady and she told me she probably knew probably half of the people on that floor. Cantor Fitzgerald in the WTC lost almost everybody on that dark day.

Sad. But I don't understand why posters in here are blaming the Taliban (Afghans and Pashtuns in Pakistan). The WTC was destroyed by Al Qaeda (mostly Saudis and all Arabs).

As far as being at "ground zero," this might be true in that he and his men went to 40 Wall Street (a mile away from the WTC) where they schemed to cook the books to go after a $150,000 cash grab from the government intended to help business directly affected by the attack, but sure as **** he did not do a thing to help anyone other than himself.
